  • The game wasn't released outside of Japan.
  • Played straight with the novels and a video game which bridges the gap between the anime and Gatekeepers 21. The third and final volume of the manga also never made it over.
• Playing Against Type: This was Johnny Yong Bosch's first time playing a villain role. Since then, it's been a little more common for him, almost as much as his heroic ones.
• Role Reprise: All of the voice actors from the video game reprised their roles for the anime adaptation.
