  • Irony As He Is Cast: Paulo plays a fictional version of himself where he has a son with a married woman and is an abusive drug addict. He is also absent in his son's life. In real life, Paulo Avelino had a son, but his girlfriend at that time, LJ Reyes, wasn't married but was engaged to her third boyfriend who is outside of showbiz when their son is in his preteens and had already broke with Avelino. He also wasn't involved in drug use and is Amicable Exes with his ex-girlfriend when he allows her to live in the US with her son and daughter with another man. At least, he wasn't withholding child support unlike LJ Reyes' second boyfriend Paolo Contis whom she had a daughter with (who is known for his relationship with multiple women, not to mention that he is rumored to have abused LJ which led to their breakup).
    • While he is absent in some of the events of his son's life due to his showbiz career and LJ Reyes being in overseas, there was no bad blood between them.
  • Playing Against Type: Antoinette Jadaone usually directs romantic comedies at best and dramas at worst. This film is her darkest work as it is all about a girl meets his idol who turns out to be an abusive piece of work.
