• Descended Creator: Many of the game's characters are played by the developers and their friends, relatives and colleagues.
• What Could Have Been:
  • Originally, Mian Hua Tang's attack where she summons Optimus Prime was going to instead feature a huge, burly bodyguard, but it was switched to Optimus Prime when they couldn't find anyone to portray the bodyguard.
  • Sun Wukong was supposed to have spray-paint attacks a la Jet Set Radio, but the game's engine was too limited.
  • Tuo Lei, who was left in an incomplete state, having no intro and winpose and only one special move and one hyper move, and is unselectable.
  • Xi Xi, an entire scrapped character which appears in the earlier demos but is nowhere to be seen in the final game.
