• Acting for Two:
  • Trevor Devall voices Garby, Skrap-It, Lloyd and Scoot.
  • Dozer, George, Break-It and Drag-O are voiced by Brian Drummond.
  • Skya and Wrecka are both voiced by Ashleigh Ball.
  • D-Structs and Smash-It are voiced by Paul Dobson.
  • Most of the cast has had a turn at voicing one of the Ottos.
• Cross-Regional Voice Acting: Voice recording is done in Vancouver, so several well known Vancouverite voice actors appear, such as Andrew Francis, Ashleigh Ball, Matt Hill, Richard Ian Cox, Brian Drummond and Paul Dobson. However, Cree Summer, Trevor Devall, and Eric Bauza record alone in Los Angeles.
• Development Hell: DreamWorks had licensed the Dinotrux property with the intent of making it into a film as early as 2009.
• The Other Darrin: In the Latin American Spanish dub:
  • Dozer was initially voiced by Óscar Flores for the first 25 episodes. Starting with episode 26, Flores was replaced by Alfredo Gabriel Basurto. For the final eight episodes, Basurto, in turn, was replaced by Arturo Mercado Jr..
  • While Irwin Daayán was the primary voice actor for Click-Clack, he was temporarily replaced by José Antonio Macías for episode 50.
• Real-Life Relative:
  • In the Latin American Spanish dub, brothers Emmanuel and Julio Bernal voice Smash-Itt and Lloyd, respectively.
  • D-Structs' brother D-Stroy is voiced by Paul Dobson's brother Brian. Ironically, despite D-Stroy being the older brother, Brian is younger than Paul in real life.
