  • Celebrity Voice Actor:
  • Multiple Languages, Same Voice Actor: For obvious reasons, Placido Domingo voiced Monte in the Mexican Spanish dub. The same applies for Manolo Cardona, Jesus Ochoa, Eugenio Derbez in the roles of Sam, officer Jesus Ramirez and the clerk of a Mexican store.
  • The Other Darrin: Some of the original actors from the first film were recast in the sequels.
    • Rachel was played by Piper Perabo in the original, is now played by Erin Cahill. In the Latin dubbing, she was voiced by a different actress on each film. Mireya Mendoza in the first, Alina Galindo in the second, and María Inés Guerra in the third.
    • Viv, who was played by Jamie Lee Curtis in the original, is now portrayed by Susan Blakely. In the Latin dubbing, she was voiced by Patricia Martínez, while in the sequel she was voiced by Graciela Gámez.
    • Odette Annable replaced Drew Barrymore as Chloe for the sequels for unknown reasons.
    • Miguel Ferrer replaced Andy García as the voice of Delgado for the sequels.
    • Sam was played by Manolo Cardona in the original, while in the sequels he was replaced by Marcus Coloma. In the Latin dubbing, Cardona dubbed himself, but in the sequels Gerardo García took over the role.
  • Role Reprise:
    • Despite the recast of Chloe and Delgado, Rosalba Sotelo and Mario Arvizu were the only original dubbing actors from the first film to reprise their roles in the sequels.
    • George Lopez was also the only original actor to return as Papi in the sequels. Mario Filio dubbed him again.
  • What Could Have Been: A flash animated tv series was planned to be produced. A portion of the pilot episode can still be viewed on YouTube.
