• All-Star Cast:
  • The show features Richard Ayoade as the voice of Onion, Eugene Mirman as the voice of Burger, and Kevin Michael Richardson as the voice of Beef Jerky, T-Bone and Lambchop.
  • In the series premiere proper, Apple and Onion's fathers are voiced by Adam Buxton and Stephen Fry, respectively.
• Descended Creator: Apple is voiced by George Gendi, the creator of the show.
• Dueling Shows: With Disney's Pickle and Peanut and Nickelodeon's Pinky Malinky; all three focus on Anthropomorphic Food. Outside that though, Apple and Onion is quite different in tone and setting.
• Non-Singing Voice: In the Italian dub, Onion is voiced by Simone Veltroni when speaking and Mirko Fabbreschi when singing.
