Timeline / The Smeet Series

Before the Smeet

• Natural reproduction is banned on Irk after Tallest Laven loses his wife and smeet in childbirth.
• An Invader is sent to Sobr, but he's discovered and executed.
  • The Sobrekt send the Invader's head to the Tallest was a warning.
• Red and Purple hatch a few seconds before Miyuki.
  • Red and Purple meet and become inseparable.
• The three attend the Academy.
  • Red and Miyuki become a couple.
  • Red and Purple meet Zim and quickly develop a dislike of him.
• The three graduate from the Academy and become Irken Elites.
  • Red is given a position as captain of an Irken Battleship.
  • Miyuki is sent back to Irk as a communications officer.
  • Purple is assigned in exploration class and spends most of his time exploring new areas of the universe.
• Red is appointed as an Invader and he proceeds to conquer lots of planets.
• Miyuki ascends to Tallest.
• Miyuki is eaten by an infinite energy Blob created by Zim, to Red and Purple's heartbreak, causing them to hate Zim in a more personal manner.
• Spork briefly becomes Tallest before being eaten.
• Red and Purple go through the Great Measuring and are ascended to Tallest.

The Smeet

• Ilk arrives to the Massive. Red grows attached to her and decides to raise her.
• Ilk contracts Drilo's disease, forcing Red and Purple to steal a one-of-a-kind flower from Sobr, the Sobrekt homeworld.
  • Red and Captain meet for the first time.
• After a camping trip with Ilk during which she shows good survival skills, Red tells the Control Brains that she'd be an excellent Invader.
• Ilk is sent to Irk by Red before a space battle for her own safety, but she changes coordinates and goes to Earth instead, where she meets and befriends Zim, GIR and Minimoose, also meeting Dib for the first time.
• The Sobrekt send an indokuro to the Massive to retrieve the flower.
  • Ilk caught its interest and it tried to take her with it, but in the ensuing scuffle it tore off her leg, to Red's horror. However, her leg regrows back.
    • It's revealed that the Moondrop Flower gave Ilk 'regeneration' qualities, a trait exclusive to the Sobrekt.
• The Sobrekt leader declares war on the Irken Empire, ordering Captain to capture Ilk.

Time gap between The Smeet and Lost

• Four Earth years pass, which in Irken time-measuring is the equivalent to nearly half a month.
  • Ilk grows older to be about Zim's height.
  • She still has nightmares about the indokuro attack, but Red convinces her it's just nightmares.
• The Irken-Sobrekt war continues.
  • Two kryvtor assassins are sent to the Massive to kill the Tallest and kidnap Ilk, but fail and one is captured alive while the other is killed.
    • Red interrogates the prisoner, but is taunted instead, with the kryvtor telling him he'd make a mistake sooner or later before Red orders him killed.
• Red becomes increasingly overprotective with Ilk, giving her less and less freedom to just go about, keeping her in the dark about both the Sobrekt War and the indokuro attack.
  • However, this crumbles the trust foundation with his daughter.

Lost

• Lena arrives at the Massive.
  • Red feels somewhat curious about her, particularly because of her height.
• Ilk and Lena are captured by the crew of the Ibris.
  • Ilk meets Blue and Fury.
• The Ibris crashlands on planet Hoth and is left stranded and incommunicated. Soon after, an Irken ship carrying the Tallest and some Invaders crashlands nearby too.
  • Both parties make a reluctant truce until they get out of there.
  • Red and Lena bond.
• Zim, Dib, and GIR arrive.
• The group is captured by Native Hothians and they separate.
  • Ilk, Red, Lena, Zim, GIR, Captain, Blue, and Fury manage to take down their ship and escape.
  • Purple, the Invaders, Dib, Bob, Foxtrot, Masouri, and Echo are taken to the Hothians' base, where they resume their reluctant truce.
• Ilk's party makes their way towards the Hothian base, bonding and working together along the way.
  • Ilk indadvertedly calls Blue's attention by beating him in combat.
  • Red and Lena continue to develop feelings for each other.
  • Zim and GIR annoy Red.
  • Red and Lena discover that Hoth's atmosphere is poisonous and will slowly weaken those who lack a PAK.
  • Red is injured by a native monster and is taken care of by Lena.
• Both parties learn that Hoth's sun is having numerous solar storms that render ships and communication lines ineffective. They need a special metal to make the Ibris work.
• Iraa sends soldiers to capture the group, but are repelled.
• Captain separates from the group after an argument with Red, but returns to save him from a monstrous shark-like creature in a frozen lake.

Time gap between Lost and Indokani

• Ilk departs for the Academy and starts dating Blue in her free time.
  • Blue proposes.
• Red and Lena date.
• Red and Lena are married on Irk.
  • The wedding had a few complications, though.
• Cheesecake grows, but is excessively spoiled and pampered by Purple.
