     The Smeet

  • In the first few chapters, Red, Purple and the crew of the Massive struggle to get used to having a smeet onboard and Ilk puts them in many situations:
    • As Red tries to change Ilk's diaper for the first tim, he ends up releasing a cloud of the smell inside the bridge, prompting everyone except for Bob (as Ilk is on top of him) to evacuate.
      • Red previously had a navigator sniff the diaper to see if it needed to be changed, and the poor fella fainted from the awful smell.
    • An accidental call by Zim, followed by a series of loud noises in the bridge and Zim's base, miraculously don't wake Ilk from her nap. However, she's awoken by a small napkin falling unto the floor.
    • While trying to feed Ilk, Purple ends up eating a whole jar of smeet food because he liked it.
    • After Purple leaves a bag of donuts near her crib, Ilk has a sugar rush and ends up piloting the Massive with a remote controller and everyone on board is thrown around, just like in "Backseat Drivers from Beyond the Stars".
      • Bonus for Ilk inadvertently tying up both Tallest together with the leash she had been slipped into and Purple making an uncomfortable commentary.
    Purple: I'm feeling something humid...
Red: Don't tell me that when we're so close!
Purple: Not that type of humidity, I think I fell on top of your drink!
  • The whole commotion in the second chapter when Zim calls by accident and everyone has to shout due to loud music in the background, not to mention that the button to end the call seems to be malfunctioning.
    Red: SOMEBODY CUT IF OTT!
Comms Officer: (tries and failds to end the call) T-THERE SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM WITH THAT, MY TALLEST!
Red: WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'A PROBLEM'?!
Comms Officer: (keeps pressing the button) THE BUTTON ISN'T WORKING!
Zim: GET OUT OF MY HOUSE, DIB-WORM!
    Dib: WHAT?!
Purple: (presses button to end the call, but it doesn't work) WHAT IN IRK IS WRONG WITH THIS BUTTON?!
Red: WHERE'S THE REMOTE?! WHOEVER CAN FIND IT BEFORE ILK WAKES UP WILL GET A FREE DONUT!
    Purple: WHAT?!
Everyone starts looking around the bridge.
Zim: (finally notices the call) M-My Tallest!
Red: ABOUT TIME! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
Zim: N-nothing to worry about, My Tallest! Everything's under control! (throws hatchet away and it accidentally cuts Dib's hair)
    Dib: NOO! My hair!
Purple: (keeps pressing button to no avail) ARGH, STUPID BUTTON!
Red: ZIM, END THE TRANSMISSION NOW!
Zim: WHAT?! WOULD YOU MIND SPEAKING A LITTLE LOUDER, MY TALLEST?!
    Red: END THE TRANSMISSION!
    Zim: MEND MY ADMISSION?!
Dib:YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS, ZIM! (tackles Zim).
    Red: EVERYBODY QUIET!
  • Red and Purple make a bet over who will be Ilk's first word, with each wagering their exclusive snacks from their personal stashes. To their dismay, though, Ilk's word was "Zim".
  • The Tallest have an Irktube (parody of Youtube) channel known as 1000 Ways Zim Ruins Anything, in which they upload all the videos of Zim being blown up, breaking something or his plans failing.
  • Baby Ilk's shenanigans in general are funny, especially since no one in the Massive has ever taken care of a birthed smeet before.
  • When the Invaders go to look for ingredients to make the cure for Ilk, all of them encounter trouble and some even end up in the infirmary afterward and don't even get thanked for it.
  • After singing a lullaby for Ilk, Red realizes that Purple has been recording everything and chases after him.
  • Purple makes an uproar when he learns Ilk has gone into the pool by herself, as she doesn't know how to swim, and dives in to save her only for Skoodge to point out that they are in the shallow part of the pool.
  • Red and Ilk's disastrous camping trip. For starters, Red was incapable of setting up the tent and decides to spend the night on the ship instead. Then they get lost while taking a walk through the woods (though they return thanks to Ilk's surprising tracking skills), and then they are attacked by a native beast after Red startles her offspring. And if that isn't enough, the baby eats the spittle runner's key, forcing Red and Ilk to spend the night there until it evacuates.
    • While they are gone, Purple has to deal with a space roach infestation aboard the Massive, but their methods to get rid of them are anything but useful. After all of them fail, all the crew of the Massive somehow fit into the bridge and lock themselves in.
      • Instead of squashing the first one, Purple had Bob try and catch it instead because he didn't want to spill its insides unto his snacks, giving it enough time to reproduce.
      • Skoodge hangs plastic bags filled with water around the kitchen, as Zim had once mentioned they're supposed to scare roaches, only for Larb to point out that they only scare flies.
      • Finally, Bob is dressed as a female roach to try and lure them away, but is swarmed over by the insects.
  • One of Zim's attempts at earning the Tallest's favor was sending them an earthen cat as an "offering", but instead of sending a domestic cat he sent them a full-grown tiger that attacked them and even ended up eating a table drone, but the Tallest don't really care about the latter.
    Red: Who did he eat?
Random Irken: A table drone, my Tallest!
Red: Someone send his widow a doughnut!
    • Afterward, Purple made pajamas with its hide.
  • Ilk receives a goldfish from Zim, but Purple finds it funny to tap on the glass to scare it until he unintentionally drops the tank off the table and it breaks. Larb catches inside a soda vase, but the liquid kills it. Just as Ilk is approaching the bridge, Purple momentarily panics and the fish's corpse slips from his hands and unto one of the consoles, where it's electrocuted. Red and Purple hastily make a replacement fish with stuff from their pockets while the Invaders go buy a new one. When they do get it, the replacement fish dies of old age soon after.
    • In the end, Zim sends an entire aquarium to the Massive to cheer Ilk up and floods the bridge; ironically, Purple is chased by a shark while Ilk rides a sea-turtle. Red's reaction is to scream Zim's name in anger while a starfish sticks to his bubble helmet.
  • When Ilk arrives to Earth, Zim doesn't seem to realize that she's grown up and treats her like an actual smeet, even ordering diapers, smeet food, and carrying her around in a baby carrier in baby clothing, ignoring the fact that she's outgrown all of those phases.
    • As he takes her to Skool, the children don't find anything odd about Ilk talking like a normal person and find her cute instead despite Dib pointing out that babies don't talk.
  • Zim inadvertedly reveals Ilk's identity to Dib.
Zim: You'll never know, Dib-stink! You shall never find the identity of Ilk-smeet, the almighty daughter of my Almighty Tallest Red!
    Ilk facepalms.
    Dib: You just told me.
    Zim: LIES!
  • As Ilk never arrived to Irk, Red believes that she's been kidnapped by rebels and starts a witch hunt through the universe to find her. Upon learning from Skoodge that she's on Earth, he calls to Zim's base and yells thinking he's the one who took the call, but once he realizes it's Ilk, he goes into worried-dad-mode.
Red: ZIM, I SWEAR, IF SOMETHING HAPPENED TO ILK-!" (realizes he's talking to Ilk) ILK! AREYOUOKAY?! IVEBEENWORRIEDSICK! ITHOUGHTTHOSEDAMNREBELSHADCAPTUREDYOU! HOWONIRKDIDYOUENDUPONEARTH?! AREYOUHURT?! DIDZIMHURTYOU?!
  • Purple, Invaders Skoodge and Tenn, and a few others eavesdrop on an intimate conversation between Red and Ilk, and then fall on top of each other when the former opens the door.
  • The introduction exchange between the Tallest and Captain when they ask the latter his name is amusing, as they keep mistaking his name for his rank. Even after he clarifies it, Red and Purple make fun of it.
  • Skoodge and Bob make a brief attempt at bravado while trying to distract the indokuro and lead him away from Ilk, but they quickly panic and run away as soon as it shifts its attention to them. Then again, it's not that surprising considering that we're talking about a three-meter-tall monster with sharp teeth, claws and short fuse.

     Lost

  • Red's overprotectiveness reaches a new level when it's revealed that he put a tracking device on Ilk. Though they manage to learn of her location thanks to this, Purple understandably thinks that it's gone too far.
  • As the Ibris shuts down, everyone asks Masouri what's happening, much to his chagrin as he doesn't really know the answer to that. He finally loses patience when Blue's about to ask him the same thing.
Masouri: I swear, if I hear 'what's going on' one more time I'll throw myself out of the airlock!
  • Masouri's evidently the kind of guy who would marry his vehicle if it were legal. He knows every corner, inch and crevice of the Ibris and it's implied that he has customized it. He weeps and embraces it after crash-landing and reacts aggressively whenever Iraa calls the ship his own.
  • After entering Hoth's atmosphere, Larb momentarily leaves the cockpit to inform the Tallest and the other Invaders, only to realize that he's supposed to be driving as the ship falls into the planet. Afterward, everyone panics.
    • Additionally, Purple is far more concerned about the well-being of his snacks than that of the Invaders or even the ship.
Red regains consciousness after crashlanding and calls out to Purple.
    Red: Purple, are you okay?
    Purple: The donuts are alright!
  • After their capture by the Sobrekt, Purple is gagged because the Sobrekt didn't like his "blabber". Later on, he's gagged again, this time by the Hothians, twice. Guess they don't like the sound of his voice either.
  • When Fury eats all of the snacks, Purple goes into an abstinence syndrome of sorts; he stays catatonic for a few minutes and then goes into a screaming fit that keeps everyone awake all night before he starts hallucinating with donuts.
  • The Invaders try and fail to start a small bonfire, only for Bob to realize that his pants are burning. He runs around in a panic and tries to put it out by sitting down, not realizing he sat on top of the wood; this causes him to skyrocket into the air. Adding insult to injury, no one cares except for Ilk and Lena.
    • After Zim arrives, Bob finally falls back unto the ground and asks if something happened once he notices everyone's faces.
  • Zim's arrival and the reactions this elicits from both parties. The Irkens are dismayed and Red tries to attack Zim after learning he didn't inform the Armada of their location, while the Sobrekt lift up Zim in the air and laugh, elated to see him. Even Purple is briefly grateful to Zim for bringing him donuts, as Fury ate his snacks, going as far as to say he owes him one. He later regrets it, though.
  • GIR clings to Foxtrot's head and the Sobrekt try to separate them by pulling them back, much to the Irkens' amusement.
  • The Sobrekt treating Zim like he's a hero of sorts annoys the Irkens (minus Ilk, Skoodge and Bob) to no end, and Zim certainly enjoys it.
  • Being a reptile, Blue shows confusion when Zim mentions milk and mammary glands, as they are completely foreign to his race. He asks Dib if he has mammary glands, to which Dib becomes deeply embarrassed.
  • When the Hothians attack, Captain and the Raptor Squad couldn't fight back because of a stomachache caused by GIR's tacos.
  • When Blue and Zim order Fury and GIR respectively to open the doors to their cells, they go a little too far and end up destroying the main console in the process, bringing the ship down.
  • Red and Captain engage in a game of rock-paper-scissors to decide which way to go. Captain wins, but it turns out he was going to pick Red's suggested path in the first place. When Red calls him out on it, Captain states that he never asked. his opinion.
Captain: Okay, now that we've settled it, let's go look for that escarpment.
    Red: Wait, what?
Captain: I said we should get going and find that escarpment. Should I write it down for you?
Red: You mean that you intended to go look for that escarpment all along?!
Captain: What did you think, Irken? We don't have any tools to climb down, and even if we did the rock is probably slippery from so much ice.
Red: Let me get this straight. We've wasted half an hour here playing a stupid game because you didn't agree with my decision of going down the escarpment, and now you tell me that you intended to do precisely that?!
    Captain: Yeah, that's right.
Red: THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SO FROM THE BEGINNING?!
    Captain: You never asked.
    • Later on, Red retaliates by overcooking the food, knowing that Captain prefers to eat it raw.
  • Throughout the fic, Dib records everything around him in a stolen Hothian camera to use as proof once he returns to Earth. Unfortunately for him, the baby indokuro Purple hatched by accident destroyed the camera in the end.
    • Even the Irkens and Kryvtors find his head too big, and is often teased about it, much to his annoyance.
  • Red ends up hurting his fingers after trying to punch Captain. As Lena warns him it's going to hurt when she puts them back in place, Red dismisses her concerns, stating that he has dealt with worse, but as she cracks the bones, he lets out a loud scream.
    • Purple somehow manages to hear it from miles away.
  • Red and Lena spend five minutes trying to pull Echo's weapon out of the tree before Captain tells them to press the button to deactivate the plasma blade. As Lena does so, both Irkens fall back and she unintentionally drops on top of Red just as Ilk and Blue return, to their embarrassment.
    Red: Oh, sweetie, it's...!
    Lena: Not what you think!
  • GIR's shenanigans:
    • Serving tacos to the Sobrekt and causing them stomachache.
    • Riding Fury like a cowboy.
    • Hitting Zim with a snowball and running around to avoid him.
    • Kissing Zim, and then Tallest Red, in the mouth, to their disgust.
    • Taking down the 'gray men' when Zim promises him the datapad if he wins the 'game'.
    • Yelling Fury's name in concern after the latter is knocked against a tree, but quickly forgets about him and goes to get the fruit cake instead.
    • Falling on top of the Hothians and knocking them down while thinking it's a game.
  • Ilk's reaction to learning that Blue is interested in her in a romantic way because she defeated him in a fight. She hopes that Zim is wrong and asks Captain about it, but not only does he confirm it, he tells her that she was the one who started the courtship when she defeated him.
  • When the Mendigo goes to retrieve its blanket, Zim, aided by Captain, Blue and Fury, pulls it back claiming that he found it despite Red telling him to let go of it. The whole thing basically looks like two children fighting over a blankie.
  • During the Mendigo attack, Zim is seemingly eaten by the monster, to Red's delight. After the creature is defeated, however, Zim cuts his way out of its abdomen with Masouri's swords claiming to have defeated it by himself, to Red's bitter disappointment.
  • Due to the blood loss and his fading consciousness, Red indadvertedly reveals to Zim that his mssion is a lie, but Zim believes he's delirious and panics.
  • Captain assumes that Red and Lena are a couple because of their physical proximity in two occasions, as in Sobrekt culture this is a sign of intimacy. But when he points it out to Red, the Irken becomes embarrassed and points out Lena is just his friend, finding the Sobrekt custom weird.
  • When they finally manage to communicate with Tallest Red, the Invaders lunge at Dib in desperation after hearing their leader's voice, and end up falling on top of Purple and Foxtrot while Dib jumps out of the way. Purple sends all of them to the corner like scolded children; Masouri and Echo get the same punishment even though they weren't part of the "ambush".
  • Blue's attempts at courting Ilk are awkward and poorly-received, mostly because Ilk doesn't see him that way, but it's clear he's got little to no experience in courting to begin with.
  • After Red goes straight into battle despite his injury despite Captain's protests, the latter momentarily thinks Lena is far more reasonable until she goes after Red. Afterwards, he thinks he's the only one with common sense.
  • Red, Ilk, Purple or Lena often throw up when the Sobrekt do something bloody, such as eating their meat raw or beheading their foes.
  • Lena's lack of battle experience and little physical strength give her some hilarious moments, such as when she clumsily moves through a battlefield trying to dodge plasma shots or falling on top of Red while trying to pull Echo's blade from a tree.
  • Ilk's rant after her argument with Red scares Zim, Captain and Blue. Despite Zim's warnings, Blue tries to ask her if she's okay, only for Ilk to shout at him.
  • Red asks Zim which way to go to find a shelter. When Zim points in one direction, Red leads everyone the opposite way.
  • The incubator's emergency button is anything but useful, as it merely tells Purple to keep the egg's fluid inside and call the IK-CADCOM, which he can't do because they're stuck in a planet with no communication lines.
  • After talking with Captain, Red becomes embarrassed once he notices that the Sobrekt is naked. Captain doesn't mind, as his reproductive organs are internal, but Red yells at him to put on some clothing.
  • The tension between Red and Blue after the latter declares his love for Ilk is somewhat amusing, especially when they often argue over who should be close to Ilk. The clearest example is when they argue over who'll get to talk to her first when she regains consciousness until Captain snaps at them, moment Red takes advantage of to scurry off into the cavern.
  • Zim goes into a cave looking for a mendigo, and ends up having to run away from a whole pack, to Fury's annoyance.
  • The baby indokuro brings lots of things to the cell except the keycard they need to unlock the door, to Red's irritation.
  • Foxtrot takes Bob's request to give him a hand a bit too literally and ''bites off' a Hothian's hand, to Bob's horror.
  • When the Invaders see him in Captain's arms bridal style, Purple threatens to throw them out of the airlock in person if they mention it to anyone.
  • Red is utterly dismayed that the only person with the same blood type as Ilk is Zim; he'd rather have Bob or Skoodge as blood donors than Zim.
  • Masouri downloaded his personality into the Ibris's computer interface. This leads to frequent arguments between the two since they're practically one and the same and are too alike to agree on something.
  • Captain's romantic advice to Red, while well-intentioned, is rather weird, as he uses an animal metaphor and mentions methods of courtship that involve gifting heads. While a Sobrekt lady might find it cute, a female Irken is another story.
  • Red and Captain's last exchange of words before parting ways.
    Captain: See ya later.
Red: What makes you think we'll see each other again?
Captain: Ah, believe me, I wish it wasn't the case, but by now it's evident that the universe conspires against us to make sure we re-encounter each other endlessly in a cycle of never-ending annoyance.
Red: That was deep, Captain. I didn't think you'd have a knack in poetry.
    • Unfortunately for Red, Captain's right.
  • Zim accidentally names the baby indokuro Cheesecake, much to Purple's chagrin. Then again, perhaps it's a better option than Snackie.

     Indokani

  • The semi-antagonistic relationship between Red and Cheesecake is one of the main sources of humor in the story. Red can't stand Cheesecake's out-of-control, pampered behavior and Cheesecake likewise hates the 'red tall one' who's always hitting Purple or locking him (Cheesecake) in a wardrobe. Red insists on treating Cheesecake like the animal he is and is annoyed by Purple's pampering of him.
    • The clearest example is how Cheesecake has picked Red's carpet as a toilet, and the latter is constantly complaining about it.
  • The introduction of the first chapter is a series of diary entries from Purple about Cheesecake's behavior, but it also contains commentaries of other people telling him to do something about it, most notably Red telling him that Cheesecake has been pooping on his carpet.
  • Red has Lena and the Massive's pilots send Purple to the cafeteria by telling him there's freshly-baked cinnamon rolls. Naturally, Purple is bitterly disappointed to find another sermon from Red. Shortly after, Cheesecake arrives and trips, knocking Red down in the process.
    • The funniest thing is that Purple ignores Red and checks on Cheesecake instead, to Red's chagrin.
Red: Oh, don't worry! I think I broke my spine and got internal bleeding, but I'm fine! How nice of you to care!
  • Red faints when he learns that kekkonshu means wedding ceremony, which means that Ilk and Blue are getting married, prompting everyone to fan him with whatever they have at hand.
    Purple: Someone bring a doughnut!
Lena: Think it'll wake him up?
    Purple: No, I'm hungry!
    Lena: Purple!
  • Red's reaction to learning that Ilk and Blue's wedding announcement isn't a nightmare is that of the typical overprotective dad.
  • The navigator who opened the first mail realizes that it was supposed to be opened second, and the one they were supposed to read first had the label "THIS ONE FIRST, DAD". Red has that navigator thrown out of the airlock.
    • One of the sentences in Ilk's letter shows just how ''well' she knows her father.
I guess you're wondering why I sent a written irkmail instead of sending a transmission. No offense dad, but knowing you you'd probably keep interrupt me while trying to explain, something you can't do with a letter.
  • Skoodge's flashcards have useful information about Sobrekt facts and culture, and he occasionally reads them to explain some of the things the group goes through. Sadly, no one listens to him.
  • The Tallest and the Invaders end up in the jail in the orbital ring for starting a fight after the Sobrekt tried to confiscate Purple's donuts. They are saved by none other than Zim himself, who's grown a lot ever since they last saw him. Red and Purple pretend to be friends with Zim to get the guard to let them go.
    • The only one who remains behind is Larb, whom Zim purposefully had remain in jail for a certain amount of time to spite him.
  • The idolatry the Sobrekt have for Zim is far more evident. They constantly give him preferential treatment and metaphorically kiss the ground the walks on. They even built a statue of him defeating the mendigo from Hoth in the center of Igano.
  • Purple is constantly assaulted physically by passerbys because he's not wearing anything black in Indokuro Week. He ends up having to wear a cartoonish indokuro hat to make it stop.
  • The crew of the Massive have a hard time controlling Cheesecake after Purple leaves, but they can't hurt him because he's Purple's pet. This has converted them into Cheesecake's toys.
  • Red and Lena get drunk with a single shot of Sobrekt alcohol and have a terrible hangover the next morning; even worse, whatever they did in their drunken state ended up online.
  • The usually stoic Captain acts nervous when he goes to inform Red about the Massive's takeover. Unfortunately for him, a crewmember of the flagship got ahead of him and informed Red of the attack.
  • When Red chases Captain around the base to hit him with a metal bat, the Sobrekt takes cover behind Lena despite being larger and stronger than Red.
  • The Sobrekt aboard the Massive have a hard time understanding its technology: a soldier presses the wrong buttons and removes audio and video from the call before he's finally able to transfer it to the Massive's bridge.
  • Red completely loses it when he sees Sendou seating in his chair. Captain tries to silence him, but the two end up wrestling on the ground while Lena, the Shuryo and Sendou watch in annoyance.
  • Purple and Red have a panic attack when they learn that Sendou's taking over the Massive was fair and square by legal standards. Purple even takes quick breaths into a paper bag while Zim fans them with a menu.
  • Foxtrot keeps watching the footage of Red and Lena in a drunken state in front of the former to amuse himself despite being told that it's cruel.
  • Red gets frustrated at Purple when the latter keeps eating donuts instead of listening to him.
Red: If you hadn't taken that thing outside, to begin with, it wouldn't have been taken in the first place! Oh, even better, if you hadn't spoiled it rotten-! Would you stop eating when I'm trying to scold you?!
Purple: I eat when I get stressed!
  • Red does something he's never done before in his life: beg. Sorta.
Red: I can't believe I'm doing this. (snaps his fingers).
Random Irken soldier: (gets down on his knees) Please! We're desperate, we're running out of snacks and we're stuck in a filthy alien planet! I'll give you anything, but please help us!
  • Gaz is able to singlehandedly take down some Invaders and even intimidate Red by dragging him out of the base by the lekku just so she can eat.
Red: Come on, Lena, you get intimidated by a shorter hyo- Hey, what are you-?! Unhand me, you nasty-! I'm going to kill you-! OKAY, OKAY, I'M WALKING, BUT LET GO OF MY LEKKU!
  • Ilk's addition of salt to the meal she cooked ended up having awful effects on the Sobrekt guests' stomach.
  • Cheesecake's attempt at introducing himself with Fury's pack doesn't go well. Because he was raised in captivity, he fails to understand their body language and tries to win them over by dancing and jumping like a horse.
    • He accidentally kicked some dirt unto Hornet's face.
  • Zim cooked the egg Purple was supposed to look after for breakfast. Despite this, Purple shows the cooked egg to the exams.
    • Purple throws Zim in a garbage dump in retaliation, but the Invader doesn't seem to mind and simply believes that Purple lost him in the crowd.
  • Larb is in the middle of being mauled by Zimkro when Red calls him to see how he's doing in his task.
  • Red screams a Big "WHAT?!" when he learns that the Massive is being painted in Sobrekt colors.
  • Purple faints like an old lady after a short race, even needing a medical drone to check on him and supply him with oxygen.
  • Zim doesn't understand that the "shower" in "baby shower" actually refers to showering the future mother with presents and not an actual shower, instead thinking they're going to bathe the smeet. He even gifts Lena with soap, shampoo and a small bathtub.
    • Red briefly believes that the smeet shower is for Ilk. Thankfully, that isn't the case.
  • Everyone found out about the pregnancy before Red, and he's not happy about it.
  • Lena constantly eats the meat-based Sobrekt food due to the cravings of the pregnancy. Wouldn't be so bad if they didn't eat literal brains as a dessert or live bugs as an entree.
  • Zim's reaction to meeting Zimkro for the first time is staring, yelling, and then get swallowed by him.
  • The Shuryo is naked when Red enters his bedchambers to talk about Purple. While he's too worried about his co-ruler to mind, Lena, Captain and the guards are deeply embarrassed.
  • During Cheesecake's fight, Red hyperventilates whenever it seems like Cheesecake is going to lose.
  • After recovering the Massive, all the Irkens hug and kiss every single inch of the flagship as soon as they get back on board, Red included, to Captain's amusement.
  • Zimkro crashes into the "Zim is gone" party and swallows Ilk, to the horror of Red and Blue. To the former's greater dismay, Zimkro expels both her and Zim via vomiting on top of his floor.
  • When he learns that Ilk is supposed to be naked in the wedding, Red chases after Blue with his Pak-cannons.

     Pre-Parental Panic

  • The fic starts with Lena seemingly going into labor. Everyone is running around the Massive in a panicked frenzy while Red shouts random orders at them and Purple gorges himself in donuts. As they burst into the room, however, it turns out that it was a fake alarm; it was only a kick.
  • It's implied that Lena's become so picky with food that she's constantly changing her mind regarding her cravings, such as the type of chocolate.
  • Purple orders Bob to bring him a refill, forgetting the fact that he was fired at the end of the previous story. He has to be reminded of it, and he shrugs it off.
  • The Vortians are anything but threatening. While holding Lena at gunpoint in the bathroom, one accidentally blows their cover by replying to the guards. In the end, they are taken out by Lena herself when her water breaks and maternal instinct kicks in.
