Tearjerker / Wings of Rebellion

• Shortly after Akechi has his change of heart and is taking Morgana home with him at Akira's request, he runs into Sae who proceeds to give him a brutal dressing down despite his attempts to be genuinely friendly and show concern for her well-being. This ends up leaving him saddened and self-conscious to the point of not being able to keep up his business expression. Even Morgana agrees that she was far too harsh with him despite not really liking Akechi.
• The moment where Akechi admits to Sae that not only did he know about all the mental shutdowns, but he was the one who caused them, he is left in such a miserable, remorseful state that Sae can’t help but sympathize with him.
• During Akechi and Akira’s battle against Caroline and Justine, the two Wild Card users are left badly on the ropes as the twins are beating them handily in spite of their efforts. Eventually, out of sheer frustration, Akechi attempts to use his power to turn people psychotic on himself, but Akira gets in the way, resulting in the power getting used on her. Akechi is left horrified, fearing he’s caused irreparable harm to Akira, while Akira is forced to watch some of “Crow’s” worst memories.
• The eventual reveal of Futaba’s father being Shido brings with it the realization, from Akechi, that when he was killing Wakaba Ishiki, she had attempted to offer him a chance for a normal life with a loving family, even trying to tell him that he had a half sister just as he killed her shadow.
