In Wings of Rebellion:

Akechi:"Wow. What is his name, again?"
    Akira: "Morgana.
Akechi: Huh? But that is a female name.

  • This line from Futaba:
    "Detective Akechi is poor confirmed."
  • Akechi being Genre Savvy about Featherman and Futaba complaining about him knowing everything even though he hasn't seen that iteration of the show. Made even funnier when this happens:
    Two episodes later, Futaba yawned.
Akechi: [smiles with amusement] "Is it the repetitiveness?"
    Futaba: "Oh, shut up."

Chapter 5: Spaceport of Greed Destroyed

  • When the Thieves are deciding how to materialize the Treasure, Joker mentions the word "brainstorm" causing Skull to ask what it means and Joker explaining about it. This then leads to Skull thinking that brainstorm sounds cool, along with Crow, Oracle and Haru. Cue silence.

Chapter 11: In Front of the Camera

  • While talking on the phone, Akira's mom asks if she has any boyfriend or anyone she's interested yet. So when she mentions Akechi and Akira tells her she's met him, she, out of all people, immediately starts shipping them. Akira is not amused.

  • Mona treating Crow like a Treasure and constantly purring while trying to stay close to him after waking up from being knocked out.

Chapter 16: Trying to Cool Off

  • Akira isn't just terrible at driving the Monamobile, she's terrible with boats too. And apparently Yusuke had the misfortune of learning it himself during his Confidant.
  • Ryuji meets Akechi in the supermarket. When the conversation turns to Ryuji suggesting to Akechi to cook for a girl he likes, Akechi starts blushing and quickly denies falling in love.
  • Yusuke mentions he heard from Akira about Akechi's backstory, just as Ann had when she and Akechi met, which leads to this line:
Come to think of it, he hadn't asked Akira to keep quiet about them!

Chapter 18: Nagging Suspicions

  • The whole study session.
    • First, Akechi is starting to get suspicious that the Thieves are planning something with him.
    • Then when Makoto asks for Akechi with help in a math problem, Futaba decides to be, as Akechi later puts it, a "random number generator" and starts spouting random numbers to throw him off. Then proceeds to embarrass him by treating him like a little brother and petting him.
    • And lastly there's this after Futaba pinches Morgana's cheeks:
Futaba: "Aww Mona, why do you have to like Akechi more than you like me? I'm hurt..."
Morgana: "I'm hurt from the way you treat me. Akechi treats me with dignity."
  • After the study session, Akira kisses Akechi on the cheek and as he leaves Leblanc, Sojiro smirks at the blush still on his face.

Chapter 19: Let's Unrig the Game

  • After one of the battles, Crow's implied to have done his little dance for his regular All-Out Attack portrait. The Thieves are surprised and find it hilarious, and Crow is distinctly embarrassed.

Sojiro: I could've never imagined one day I'd be discussing politics with a cat...

Chapter 21: Wild Dreams

  • Crow and Joker make a deal that he wouldn't use his berserk powers and excepts a Confidant to form...but nothing happens.
Joker firmly squeezed his hand back, and......
    ... ... Nothing happened.
  • After the fight, Akechi manages to follow Akira to make sure she got back without her noticing him...only to be caught by Futaba as he's leaving.
  • As mentioned in Establishing Character Moment, we're introduced to a young woman in a violet dress and her first line is:
"Good afternoon. Is this detective Akechi's agency?"
  • While the Thieves are out shopping for groceries, Morgana complains about being given cat food. So Haru, being the nice girl she is, assumes he's tired of that brand and picks out a more expensive one. Morgana quickly shuts up, not wanting to offend her.
  • After the shopping trip, the group goes to get crepes, and Morgana gives "romantic advice" to Akechi, which makes him blush and give him back to Akira.
  • When Akechi and Akira get back in Leblanc, the two have a romantic moment...only to be interrupted by Sojiro coming in.

Chapter 22: Whims of Fate

  • After finding out Akechi's new neighbor is Elizabeth and the two talking about how she's help, Elizabeth decides to talk about normal conversational topics to throw off the malevolent entity...and when Akechi asks where's she's from, she ends up philosophizing about the origins of life before talking about wishing she had stayed long enough in Osaka to pick up the accent.

Chapter 23: Casino of Jealousy Shut Down

  • After Akira introduces herself to Sae, her internal narration says this:
With this, Sae could finally stop referring to her internally as 'girl from Leblanc.'

Chapter 24: The Simple Joys of Life

  • Akechi comes home to see Elizabeth carrying four large grocery bags and having a hard time opening her door, so he helps her out and takes two...only to nearly drop because of how heavy they are. Considering Elizabeth is a bonus boss in her game, and has broken through walls before, carrying four heavy bags shouldn't be a problem.

Chapter 25: Amazing Allies

  • Right before Akechi arrives for another study session:
Akira: Speaking of Akechi-kun, he's just texted me to say he's on his way here. Guys, try to act normally.
Futaba Easy f-for you to say...
Yusuke: "You don't even go to school, and don't have exams. You have no need to be here. Why don't you just stay home and save yourself the trouble of being nervous?
Futaba: Shut up, Inari. I'd be nervous either way!
  • The Thieves talk about Akechi's love interest, much to his embarrassment, and Akira's as well, not that they noticed.
  • Akira sends a text to Akechi after she's done talking to him over the phone...and it has a kiss emoji on it. To say the least, Akechi blushes like crazy and can't even reply to it because of that.
  • As mentioned in It Runs in the Family, Sae also Drives Like Crazy.
  • During a Mementos trip with only Crow and Mona, they encounter a Kikuri-Hime Shadow that Crow was having trouble negotiating with until she noticed Mona.
Kikuri-Hime: Aww, is this a friend of yours? He's so cute, isn't he?!
    Crow: Yes, he is.
    Mona: C-cute!?
    After the fight
Mona: [glare] You were mocking me, weren't you!?
    Crow: Huh?
Mona: Cute? What the heck? You don't mean that's really what you think, do you!?
    Crow: Hmm...
    Mona: Hey!
  • Mona talks out loud about his crush on Ann, much to his embarrassment. Crow slips out that he understands the feeling of being unable to he with the one they like the most. The tables are soon turned on him as Mona asks about the person he likes and then he's the one embarrassed and telling him to shut up.
  • After Akechi saves Morgana from two young kids who wanted to take him home, one of the kids said, "It's decided. When I grow up, I'll be a detective too. I want to help many lost cats find their owners!"

Chapter 26: Culture Festival

  • Akira being her mischievous self in a dream with Akechi, with her insisting she's a "thief" and Akechi not really believing her as well as not liking the thought of breaking the law. Case in point:
Young!Akira: I guess I'll have to get in through the window, then.
Young!Akechi: What!? But that's wrong! It's like what thieves do!
Young!Akira: [smirk] Oh, but I'm a thief. I came to steal your boredom.
  • Before Akechi goes to the Culture Festival, he meets with Elizabeth. She soon mentions some of the events of Persona Q. Akechi can't tell if she's being serious or not.
  • Yusuke still not used to having money, even after getting a part time job at the florist.
  • The Thieves find the Haunted House section and go in. Shenanigans ensue, to be topped off with Akira ripping off the mask of one of the students...and making several of them and her friends scream one after the other.
    Akira: I'll unmask you!
    [everyone screams]
Ryuji: The hell, Akira? What are you doing?!
    Akira: Uh, sorry!
  • Akechi continues to keep quiet as the Thieves are speculating who is the girl he likes...until Futaba rats him out and tell them it's Akira. Thankfully, said girl wasn't there but it was no less embarrassing for him, since now all of the Phantom Thieves (sans Makoto) ship him and Akira.

Chapter 27: Arrows and Feelings

  • The Thieves scheme to leave Akechi and Akira by themselves.
  • When Akechi comes for the second day of the Culture Festival, Elizabeth comes with him and meets the Thieves. Of course, Elizabeth being Elizabeth, she starts talking about Tarot and Akechi worries she might give away his identity as Crow. Case in point:
Elizabeth: Ah, I see. Akira Kurusu-san. In other words, the person who took Akechi-san's heart. In more ways than one, I might add.
  • The "special takoyaki" that Akechi eats in the game is eaten by Elizabeth...and it doesn't affect her at all.
  • Yukari couldn't hear Morgana at first, and then suddenly hears him speak when she remembers Elizabeth told her the Thieves have a talking cat.
  • Akechi gets a pep talk to tell Akira his feelings...by Loki and Robin Hood. It's both hilarious and heartwarming.
  • Once again, Futaba rats Akechi out when Mishima doesn't recognize him at first.

Chapter 28: Someone Special

  • The Thieves speculate what Akechi's Metaverse attire would be and his Persona. Mainly that his "celebrity mask" would make him look like a prince while his real self would be a rebel knight, and the Persona candidates are Herlock Sholmes and Kogoro Akechi.
  • Ryuji being Akechi's wingman. He sends several texts to Akechi in the middle of class, bugging him about his gift for Akira, and then goes with him to help pick out something for her.
  • During another dream, Akira notes Akechi's trapped like a princess in distress, so she calls him a prince. He doesn't like that. So she calls him a knight. He tries to hide it, but he clearly likes it a lot better.

Chapter 30: Check Mate

  • Akechi, once again, blushes like crazy when he wakes up and finds out he slept on Akira.
  • Now Caroline and Justine join the shipping boat as they go on a shopping spree and have Akira wear and white dress with blue ribbons, which leads to her wanting to see Akechi in a dark suit. They're rather annoyed at how long it's taking them to get together. And Akechi is not happy even more people are trying to get him together with Akira.
  • Just like outside the Metaverse, the Thieves question Crow about his love life, much to his annoyance.
  • Akechi comes for dinner at Leblanc and this happens:
Sojiro: Curry'll be ready in a few. As soon as it's ready, I'll leave the two of you to yourselves.
    Morgana: Three!
Sojiro: Okay, two and a cat.
    Morgana: I'm not a cat!
  • After dinner, Akechi gets to meet Akira's parents for the first time and not long into the conversation, they suggest trying to ask the Phantom Thieves for help...and then Akira's mom asks what his type of girl is, obviously trying to get him and Akira together. Akechi, and Akira, are not comfortable with this. Akechi's narration is what particularly sells it.
Akechi was getting uneasy. It was as though everyone was conspiring both to hook him up with Akira and for him to ask the Phantom Thieves for help.
  • And not long after that, Akira takes a selfie with Akechi and Morgana, to their embarrassment, and Akechi is absolutely horrified at the thought of her sending it to her parents. Cue chase scene as Akechi tries to take Akira's phone and Akira, being her mischievous self, stays out of his reach.
