Tear Jerker / The Theory of Everything

• The quiet scene at the end where Stephen divorces Jane, in a scene much softer than what happened in Real Life.
• Stephen breaking down in tears after losing his ability to speak, following a tracheotomy.
• The Bittersweet Ending, where time reverses back to Stephen and Jane meeting for the first time, healthy and young.
• "Look what we made."
• Stephen's initial response to the wheelchair: "This is only temporary."
• The lecture hall scene, while giving us a Rousing Speech from Stephen, also contains a downright tragic scene where Stephen notices an audience member dropping a pen. In a cruel Imagine Spot, he imagines himself walking over and handing it back to her, something he hasn't done for real-world years at this point and never will again. Such a mundane, everyday task, and it's forever outside of his grasp through no fault of his own.
• A Deleted Scene where Jane, washing dishes after arguing on the phone for Stephen's pension, hears her baby boy cry. Stephen was holding him earlier and lost even more use of his fingers at that moment dropping him. You can see how devastated he looks that he can't even hold his own child.
