• While the sadness factor isn't particularly emphasized the very premise is depressing on it's own. Tokiyuki is just an eight-year-old boy who suddenly loses (nearly) his entire clan and inheritance and most conceal his identity for the next two years as a runaway fugitive in a Shinto temple.
