Tear Jerker / Songdrops

I've been trying not to cry; there's just something in my eye, but I think they know it.
Though it's mainly a happy song website, there are some sad moments in "Songdrops".
  • "Now You're Gone": The guy is trying not to lose hope or show he's sad but he is. He's also never smiled in ages.
  • "You're Not Alone": The whole song, really.
  • When the Funny Little Bug "a little bit dies"
  • "Love Quadrangle" is basically about the narrator liking a girl who likes his best friend who likes another girl who likes the narrator. That has its funny side, but the song has a few tear-jerking lyrics.
It's an impossible situation, filling us all with a lot of frustration. It doesn't add up this sad equation. No solution known.
It's no fun when we go to dances.
There's no way out. There's no solution. It's filling us all with a lot of confusion. How can there be a happy conclusion? We don't know how to cope. One plus one plus one plus one is four without hope.
    • And on the subject of romance, there was a minor sad moment in "The Valentine Song" when the narrator says he "wasted time on the stupid love note" when the girl he likes is indifferent to it. Thankfully, Christy likes it and the narrator starts to like her.
  • The whole song "The Turkey Song", especially for sensitive people, vegetarians, Friends to All Living Things or people who are a combination of those. It basically is about how everyone has fun on Thanksgiving...except for the turkey.
