Tear Jerker / My Hero Academia: Heroes: Rising

• If what he said was true, society decided that Chimera was a villain based solely on his appearance and forced him into becoming one.
• Mr. Shimano is seen smiling lovingly at the video of Mahoro and Katsuma giving him their well wishes... and is, not seconds afterward, ambushed and forcibly robbed of his Quirk after Nine and his gang casually flip over his delivery truck. For any family that's been separated by occupation to keep up monetary support for their children and home, this can hit very hard.
  • Though his reunion with his children is still relieving, don't forget that despite his defeat, Nine left Mr. Shimano essentially Quirkless; that has to have counted as a second loss for Mahoro and Katsuma on top of losing their mother. However, this is mitigated by Shimano admitting that his Quirk was situational at best implying that he doesn't actually mind losing it as long as he himself lives to see his children.
• As Nine seemingly defeats most of Class 1-A and continues further into the ruins after Mahoro and Katsuma, the siblings become so paralyzed with terror that they can't keep running to the escape route, even with Shoji, Jiro and Ojiro's pleas to keep going. Mahoro fearfully intercedes Nine to try to protect Katsuma and tearfully yells at him to leave her brother alone. However, he easily picks up Mahoro and threatens to kill her if Katsuma does not come to him (as she begs her brother to stay away). Katsuma then runs towards Nine, while bawling and screaming for Mahoro in fear.
• Bakugo's confused, then shocked, then empathetic and remorseful, and reluctant but determined Facial Dialogue when Deku tells him that he plans to transfer One For All to him so they can free themselves and take on Nine.
• In a parallel to the immediate end of All Might's fight against All For One, Deku exhaustedly accepts that (in that moment) he will no longer possess One For All after he and Bakugo defeat Nine. When he sees All Might, he can only tearfully explain what happened and apologize for failing him before falling unconscious.
