Tear Jerker / La Vie en Rose

• When Edith's father comes back to reclaim her and takes her away from the brothel. Titine (Emmanuelle Seigner), the prostitute who had grown to become a loving Parental Substitute for Edith, doesn't take it well, to say the least.
• It takes quite a moment for Edith's staff to tell her that her lover Marcel Cerdan died in a plane crash.
• At age 47, Edith really looks like she's in her 80's, after years of being physically and mentally broken by life and consuming drugs to ease the pain. She holds on her memories as she dies.
