Emmanuelle Seigner (born 22 June 1966 in Paris, France) is a French actress, former fashion model, and singer.

She started off as a model, and an encounter with Jean-Luc Godard, who then cast her in 1985's Détective, convinced her to become an actress. She has been nominated for a César Award for Best Actress for the 2013 film adaptation of Venus in Fur, and for two César Awards for Best Supporting Actress in Place Vendôme (1998) and La Vie en Rose (2007).

She learned how to sing for the film Backstage (2005) in order to perform her character's songs herself, which ended up starting her own musical career.

She has two sisters, singer Marie-Amélie Seigner and actress Mathilde Seigner. She is the third wife of film director Roman Polański since 1989. They've had two children, including actress Morgane Polanski. She has appeared in several of Polanski's films since Frantic, in roles of various importance.
