As a Moments subpage, all spoilers are unmarked as per policy. You Have Been Warned.

Episode 1: Wake Up

  • Julie finding herself unable to play the piano at the test recital because she is still hurt by her mom's death. Even with the support of Flynn and Mrs. Harrison, she just can't make herself sing, and storms out as a result.

Episode 2: Bright

Episode 3: Flying Solo

  • It's only offhandedly mentioned, but Carrie's conversation with Nick implies that she became distant with Julie because the latter emotionally shut herself after her mom's death by refusing to talk with everyone. As a result, Carrie became frustrated and decided to just burn bridges with her.

Episode 4: I Got The Music

  • The boys finding out that Bobby, the sole survivor of Sunset Curve, took credit for all the songs they wrote and became a rich musician while leaving everyone else in the dust. And while Luke is angry that he is stealing their legacy, Reggie adds that this means that Bobby didn't give a damn about their families, as Reggie's family had their house demolished in the 25 years he was gone.

Episode 5: The Other Side of Hollywood

  • The band standing Julie up, who is forced to cancel their performance at the dance as a result. Made worse when Carrie rubs it on her face by telling everyone to go to her house for a party.
  • Julie ranting her frustration at the band at the end and stating that she quits.

Episode 6: Finally Free

  • Julie is still mad at the band for standing her up and rejects their attempt to convince her to rejoin. She even tells Luke how selfish he is, which makes all the more sad given what happens in the episode later on.
  • Alex and Reggie take Julie to Luke's childhood home, revealing that Emily, the woman whom he wrote a song for, is not his girlfriend, but his mother. Luke has been visiting his parents several times since he came back as a ghost and is openly sobbing while seeing them put up a birthday cake for him. Reggie notes that the couple have been doing this every year since Luke died.
    • Alex comments that what makes it even sadder is that Luke parted with his parents on bad terms, because they didn't approve him joining a rock band when was still a teen.
    • Luke blows the birthday candle, but because his parents can't see him, they light up another one. This time, he waits so they can blow the candle in unison.

Episode 7: Edge of Great

  • Willie telling Alex that they should not have met, because of his guilt of leading him and his friends to trouble.
  • The Morton's Fork that the boys are given at the end. Either they are claimed by the curse and cease to exist, or work under Caleb for eternity, or fulfill their unfinished business and move to their afterlife. Either way, they are going to part ways with Julie and they don't have much time to do it.

Episode 8: Unsaid Emily

  • The entire scene at Luke's former house. Julie helps Luke give the lyrics of "Unsaid Emily" to his parents, who promptly break down over it. Luke, himself crying, sings the song throughout the scene.
    • The flashback that accompanies the song, which shows Luke's fight with his mom that led him to leave the house and her screaming for him to come back. It's revealed that Luke still occasionally visited his parents afterwards — secretly, because he was ashamed of coming back to them.
    • Judging by the decorations in the background, Luke ran away close to, or even on, Christmas.
    • And then we cut to the aftermath of the food poisoning incident. Luke's parents merely had to hear the sound of the ambulance sirens blaring to start sobbing for their son's fate.
  • Julie finding out that Luke, a guy that she starts to fall for, will disappear from her life on short notice.

Episode 9: Stand Tall

  • Julie's preemptive goodbye to Luke, Alex, and Reggie, particularly the bit where she asks Luke to tell her mother that she loves her if he meets her. Also doubles as a heartwarming moment.
  • Julie breaking down when Luke, Alex, and Reggie stand her up yet again. Not because she thinks that they bail out on her, but because she thinks they have fallen victim to the curse and ceased to exist. She then runs out of the Orpheum and cries for her mom to comfort her.
  • While watching the performance, Trevor looks genuinely close to tears upon seeing his long-dead bandmates perform on stage again.
  • Julie finding Luke, Alex, and Reggie slowly dying in her mother's garage, having failed to pass on. She begs them to join Caleb and save themselves, but they soundly reject it, because they don't want to do the show without her. It's a good thing that they are saved by The Power of Friendship.
Julie: You have to save yourselves right now. Go join Caleb's club, please. It's better than not existing at all. Please just go. Go! Poof out! Do something! Please. Do it for me.
Reggie: We're not going back there.
Luke: No music is worth making, Julie, if we're not making it with you. No regrets.
