After killing Fisker, Jacket checks up on the hooker that he was evidently keeping as a Sex Slave. Terrified by the ordeal, she tearfully begs Jacket for a quick death. This makes the fact that Jacket instead rescues her and lets her clean herself up all the more heartwarming.
Jacket, after escaping with his life after 50 Blessings turns on him and tries to have him killed, returns to his apartment to find it a wreck and the Girlfriend shot to death in the bathroom.
The whole game honestly, as it just seems to steadily grind you down with a general sensation of hopelessness and despair (when the difficulty doesn't make you froth at the mouth) and culminates with either a nuclear apocalypse, or World War 3 breaking out.
Coupled with Fridge Horror, upon starting the game up for the first time, you may notice the palm trees being heavily blown back by a wind-like force. At first, one would simply assume that what's happening is just a heavy storm. Upon completing the game, however, coupled with the bleak menu music, it becomes clear that this is a display of Miami getting nuked.
To take it a step further, the Henchman is so high on drugs and an emotional wreck after his girlfriend left him that he barely even knows where he even is. After being whacked in the head, he barely acknowledges the fatal wound and just confusedly asks the Fans why they hit him and simply asks if he can just go home.
Barnes' death at the end of Beard's arc in "Casualties".
After you finish the level, you'll find out that Daniels isn't present when Beard is treating Jacket's wounds. While the digital comics show that he did survive, he probably wanted to make sure Barnes didn't die alone.
In the cutscene from the next year right afterward, Beard hangs up on Jacket to check out something outside his storefront... which turns out to be a nuclear explosion.
