Tear Jerker / Halo Legends

• The Duel:
  • Roh being forced to kill Han.
  • Fal finding Han's corpse.
  • The ending; although Fal succeeds in killing Harka, he dies from his wounds, and the rank of Arbiter becomes one of disgrace.
• Homecoming:
  • Daisy returning home, only to learn of her flash clone.
  • The ending; Daisy is shot just when she's gotten the surviving marines onto the Pelican, and with the marines and Ralph refusing to leave her behind, the Pelican is eventually blown up by the Covenant, with Daisy dying in the explosion.
    • While the Master Chief showing up and giving Daisy's body a more dignified posture can count as a heartwarming moment, you have to remember that she and Ralph were like siblings to him; he arrived too late to try and save his sister and his brother.
• Prototype:
  • The conversation held between Ghost and his dying squadmate.
  • Ghost's heroic sacrifice. Worsened by the possibility that the surviving members of Hades Corp ended up among the many casualties aboard the Heart of Midlothian.
• The Babysitter:
  • While minor, Checkman's death. It's telling how much his death has affected the squad considering it causes O'Brien to fall silent.
  • Cal slowly dying after taking a Gravity Hammer to the head defending O'Brien from a Chieftain Brute.
  Cal: Tell them... to get it to Halsey. She'll know what to do.
  Cortez: No. You give it to her.
  Cal: We both know that's... (smiles)... that's not going to be possible.
  • The squad silently mourning Cal's death.
• The Package:
  • Arthur's death after saving Kelly.
