• The Babysitter: Cal's death completely changed the ODST squad's opinion of Spartans, to the point where they react with hostility towards Berger's insensitive remarks about Cal, prompting Dutch to tell him to shut up and an apple getting thrown at Berger. The most touching part? From the camera perspective and where the characters are seated, the apple was thrown by O'Brien, the ODST who disliked Cal the most until she gave her life to save his.
• Prototype: Ghost honoring his previous platoon that was wiped out by saving the lives of those in his current one. He makes it clear to both a pair of Marines as well as to his commanding officer that he's going to hold the line so every last one of his guys can get off-world. It inevitably leads to Redemption Equals Death, but Ghost's valiant efforts clearly move even his superiors, to the point where he's honored on a level equivalent to a Spartan by being declared missing in action, rather than killed in action.
