Seeing Don Kuro and Cordell's relationship deteriorate as Nyx takes over Don Kuro's mind is incredibly sad. When the first Rejected Olympics and Kuro's Con-Venture comics were released, the two of them were so close. As the Airship Saga continued, Don Kuro started to treat Cordell more like a servant than a sister.
Ian's backstory: Not only did he see his father Vladmir Von Helson kill his mother for trying to take her sons to live with her and her new family, but after Ian is rescued by Edmund and takes him to his mother's home, Ian's stepfather Johnny Gambino wants nothing to do with him.
To see Ian and his brother Louie reunite after being apart for so long was heartwarming.
Johnny Gambino coming to the realization that he should have been a better father to Gino. He and Gino were never close, so when Gino decided to go travelling with Sentinel and The Overseer, Gino didn't feel the need to tell him, so Johnny and Edmund had no idea where he was. Johnny actually starts to cry at the thought of losing his son.
While looking at a photo of his deceased wife holding baby Gino: "You gave me a gift, and I squandered it."
Their manga update that showed anyone can indeed die. Johnny K. Gambino fans in particular will find this one hard to read.
This isn't the first time Gambino has been shot fatally by an assassin. This time he wasn't even falling from a tower into the ocean.
True, and there's a few theories out there already that say he's either alive and ordering hits on clones, has come back as a grunny, or will come back in the future. Still, he wasn't exactly crazy enough to inject himself with his own experiments this time around as far as anyone knows, and Gino wasn't around this time so that even if Johnny was that crazy they couldn't meld together like last time. And assuming he didn't have any rings on him, he probably isn't Dazed and hiding out in the Null Chamber. And if he does turn out alive by the end, it's gonna be one of the cheapest cop-outs in storyline history; any attempts to justify it would be similarly cheap.
