Tear Jerker / Forbidden Planet

• Jerry's death, horrific? Very much so...
  • What makes it worse is that Jerry ran up to the creature in an attempt to get a good shot at it. Sadly, by that time it was already clear that it simply wouldn't matter how close the crew were when the shot at it. Since the creature had proven itself to be virtually invulnerable to their weapons.
• Poor Doc Osgrow sacrificing himself to help everyone.
• When Morbius finally comes to accept that it's his id monster that's been killing people (and is about to kill his daughter).
  Morbius: GUILTY! GUILTY! MY EVIL SELF IS AT THAT DOOR AND THERE'S NOTHING I CAN DO TO STOP IT!
• Morbius's Heroic Sacrifice and death after banishing the id monster.
