Tear Jerker / Arcane Odyssey

• The beginning of the story itself is a tragedy. Especially for Morden, who had to learn that the player, his last friend, lost their memories, including the ones about who they themselves are. It doesn't help that Morden had to bury Tucker, who died during their escape from being experimented on, by himself before learning this.
• Iris's situation in the Bronze Sea storyline is also pretty heartbreaking. She spent so much time trying to figure out what happened to her missing father, only to eventually learn he was killed after being tortured for information regarding the Death Curse's whereabouts by the Order of Aesir. Her dialogue after the The Wounded Escape quest shows her anger towards King Calvus for what he had done to both her father and several other people, and it doesn’t help that her animation when she says it makes it look like she might be wiping tears from her eyes.
  Iris: What a terrible, evil man! H-He killed all those innocent people, didn't he? All that just for a stupid Curse!
• The letter at Cassia Bay that was written by a Ravennan soldier.
  "I just wanna go home! This battle is pointless! They've been bombarding us for days and some of us haven't gotten a chance to sleep since it started. I miss my family... I miss my sisters and brothers... If there is a god left... please let me escape this awful nightmare in one piece..."
