Shout Out / Scorpion

• "Love Boat" is largely set on the Inspiration Hornblower, which is a real ship. It's also appropriate, considering that the captain is prone to deception.
• In "Area 51", the team sneaks into a heavily-guarded military base in the back of a truck.
• In "Mother Load," the team meets Paige's estranged mother Veronica (Lea Thompson), who's a con artist. While driving a truck with a defective nuclear reactor with a car in pursuit and its occupants shooting at them^note Veronica owes them some money. Apparently (they never really explain it)., and Mrs. Deneen says "They found me. I don't know how, but they found me."
• "Keep It In Check, Mate" - Sylvester, through god knows how many wads of tape around his fingers and a gum shield for his teeth, says "I must break you" to his opponent. Oh, and they're playing chess.
