With Emezie Okorafor being an avid Fighting Game enthusiast (Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat especially) and anime fan, expect much of the page to have (mostly) fighting game and anime references in particular.

Note that some of the other references in the Ask #PCFS videos are self-demonstrating since Emezie will often play the clip of the original source material before the spoof.

(Page is currently a WIP.)

Characters

  • Mina is a send-up of various fighting game characters, so to wit:
    • Her main hairstyle and especially fighting style are clearly inspired by those of Chun-Li's, the original Kick Chick herself.
    • Her attitude and personality (especially her sexuality) are derived from Chun's Shadow Archetype, Juri Han, another character who fights almost entirely with kick-based attacks.note
    • She shares her namesake with two characters — Seong Mi-Na and Kim Kaphwan (another TKDnote  user like Juri above).
    • Her electrically enhanced kicks (with her lightning being depicted as yellow) coupled with her cocky attitude also calls to mind Kim Kaphwan's son Dong Hwan, from Garou: Mark of the Wolves.
  • As far as Bobby is concerned:
    • His overall appearance (notably his distinctive red hair, stoicism, and good looks) calls to mind one Iori Yagami of KOF fame.
    • His angel wings evoke the likes of, well, Angel, one of the original X-Men himself.
  • Mouse is making references to Mickey Mouse, complete with cartoonish mannerisms, ear-like hair, and Mickey-ish clothing style.
  • Pay no attention to Nutt in particular, the walking JoJo reference himself. Specifically, his tall, ashen hairdo calls to mind Jean-Pierre Polnareff.

Porkchop 'n Flatscreen!

  • The episode title to the first two episodes is spoken in a manner almost identical to Naruto.
  • The second episode has a brief skit where Ayane and Mai accidentally dress up as Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask respectively.
