Female students

     Mai
Cheat sheet (Episode 2): "Mai is a girl."

A ninja attending the Maximus Institute along with Ayane Shiun. She is a girl by the way.

  • Accidental Kiss: She delivers one to Bobby, which gets caught on her cellphone camera. Then she accidentally sends the picture to Ayane's phone. Hilarity Ensues.
  • A-Cup Angst: Seems to vary. Sometimes she isn't too found of her "peas", but other times she has Petite Pride.
  • Ambiguously Gay: She's one of the few female characters that doesn't express interest in yaoi, gets a ton of ship tease with Mina, and passesout when Mina kisses her.
  • Big Damn Heroes:
    • Episode 2: How she appears when arriving to save Ayane from Nutt and his gang.
    • Episode 5: Again when arriving to save Mina from Morrigan.
  • Blackmail: The first half of Episode 2 is Mai blackmailing Bobby (with a photo of his exposed wings) into dating Ayane.
  • Breast Attack: Delivers one to Mina in Episode 2.
  • Bully Hunter: Protects Ayane from bullies, notably from Mina.
  • Cartoon Bomb: Her default weapon, spiced with a text saying "Boo!"
  • Censor Box: Used for comedic effect to hide the nipples of Mai's modest (=perfectly flat) breasts and occasional bird-flipping.
  • Hartman Hips: Downplayed, but in certain shots Mai's hips and rear are shown to be girly enough to confirm her actual gender.
Ayane (in "Ask PCFS" corner in Episode 6): "Dat girly butt, tho."
  • Highly-Visible Ninja: Hiding isn't her specialty. Or at least not what she accomplishes with her ninja clothes.
  • Katanas Are Better: Uses one in Episode 1.
  • Lady and Knight: Ayane invoked this (or more specifically, "princess and knight") to describe the relationship between her and Mai when they were younger. For the most part, it seems to have stuck (in a platonic manner, of course).
  • Lady Looks Like a Dude: To the point where she can go around topless in the men's locker room and not draw attention. Played a lot in the first episode.
  • McNinja: She's a Latina ninja.
  • Naked People Are Funny: Her "disguise" getting uncovered in the men's locker room, creating a chain of events leading to her running out of there with nothing but a towel, which she soon drops.
  • Nipple and Dimed: Whenever Mai's (perfectly flat) breasts are exposed, they are censored.
  • Sarcastic Clapping: Mai performs that at Mina midst combat. She replies with a proper miniskirt curtsy. And this is followed by revelation of two "Boo!" bombs that Mai had hidden into Mina's shirt.
  • Scarf of Asskicking: Sports one in her ninja costume. Her usual school uniform tie mimicks it.
  • Shipper on Deck: She naturally tries to hook up Ayane and Bobby, and is not above using blackmail to do it.
  • Smoke Out: Her standard trick.
  • Suplex Finisher: She pulls one on Mina, while standing upside down on the ceiling.
  • Take a Third Option: Her response to the viewer question about if she is a girl or a boy: "I'm neither. *rips off her shirt* I'm a woman!!! Check out the glands! I can feed babies!"
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: Tomboy to Ayane's Girly Girl.
  • Unsettling Gender-Reveal: Mina figures out Mai's true gender when giving her a Groin Attack.

     Ayane Shiun
Cheat sheet (Episode 2): "Ayane has purple hair."

A ninja attending the Maximus Institute along with Mai. She has a major crush on a fellow student, Bobby.

  • Acrofatic: She tries to be this at a couple of points, but her clumsiness and weight tend to make it not work out. She does it better in Episode 8.
  • All Love Is Unrequited: She crushes hard on Bobby, who in turn has a mild crush on Mina.
  • Big-Breast Pride: She is very proud of her "melons". Her pride is not misplaced considering she has one of the largest busts in a cast already filled with very well-endowed women.
  • Big Beautiful Woman: Is quite fat, but also considered gorgeous both in-universe and by the fans.
  • Bear Hug: Ayane uses a very loving (and tight) bear hug on Mai to get her to leave her shurikens outside the school. It worked. Almost. (Mai had a few spare ones inside her jacket.) Flashback in Episode 2 explains that Mai doesn't like hugs in general. Instead, Ayane likes them. Hilarity Ensues.
  • Boob-Based Gag: You can almost guarantee Ayane's ample chest will the be the subject of at least 2 or 3 jokes per episode.
  • Butt-Monkey: Among the cast, Ayane is the most frequent victim of slapstick and humiliation.
  • Crush Blush: Upon seeing Bobby.
  • Damsel in Distress: Nutt kidnaps Ayane to lure Bobby to fight with him and his gang. Mai arrives instead. At first.
  • D-Cup Distress: Though Ayane is proud of her large breasts, she also admits that they can get in the way. Most notably they tend to whack her in the face.
  • The Ditz: Ayane doesn't think ahead, and is often clumsy.
  • Doppelgänger Spin: A technique of Ayane's. The clones are made of water.
  • Graceful Ladies Like Purple: Light purple (bordering pink) is a girly Ayane's re-occurring theme color, and also her hair color as her ninja alter ego. Even her kunais are purple!
  • Highly-Visible Ninja: Pretty much the same as Mai. In her defense, Ayane does have some unique abilities that manage to make her fairly effective at stealth.
  • The Glomp: Does those every now and then. Often with a healthy dose of Marshmallow Hell for her target.
  • Lady and Knight: Ayane invoked this (or more specifically, "princess and knight") to describe the relationship between her and Mai when they were younger. For the most part, it seems to have stuck (in a platonic manner, of course).
  • Making a Splash: Ayane has pills that burst out massive amounts of water when broken. Debuted in Episode 2 and again used in Episode 8.
  • Parasol of Pain: Ayane weaponizes a parasol that also has a katana inside.
  • Stalker with a Crush: Ayane is smitten enough by Bobby to just to keep a bit too much eye on him. Her major characteristic isn't stalking him though.
  • Stout Strength: Ayane is not only large but also strong enough to hit a tree hard enough to get Mai down there.
  • Suplex Finisher: In Episode 2, Ayane tries to pull that on Mai when trying to get her phone back.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: Girly Girl to Mai's Tomboy.
  • Visual Pun: In Episode 2, Ayane freezes when Bobby gives a Death Glare at her. Then, when Bobby announces he wants to date her, her mind/head is blown.
  • White Mask of Doom: Ayane has one — with pretty floral motif.
  • Yaoi Fangirl: Neither is Ayane immune to the sight of hawt guys making out.

     Mi Na "Mina" Kim
Cheat sheet (Episode 2): "Bobby is an angel. Nutt is a devil. They fight a lot. Mina can ship it."

A student of The Maximus Institute and leader of an all girl gang named "The Bangers"... And the (entire) reason they're called that isn't because they all have bangs.

  • A-Cup Angst: Downplayed since Mina is far from flat, the thing is she encounters a lot of girls who are even MORE endowed than her. Mina is not pleased in the slightest.
  • Alpha Bitch: She allies other students with the aid of her posse, the Bangers. note  Later episodes reveal there is more to her than just that (although it doesn't change her basic nature).
  • Angels Pose: Mina and two of the Bangers strike this after being sent to detention.
  • Animal Motifs: A cat. She is shown curled to sleep like one, and upon attacking someone she may even yowl like a cat. She also occasionally sprouts cat whiskers.
  • Berserk Button: Don't destroy her yaoi book.
  • Clothing Damage: Mina is commonly on the end of this, both in her fights and in other situations. See Naked People Are Funny for what this leads to in one case.
  • Cool Board: Mina has one. Mai eventually borrows it. And breaks it.
  • The Cutie: Apparently, this is her "greatest strength"
  • A Day in the Limelight: Episode 4 focuses on Mina, showing what lies behind the Alpha Bitch personality she displays in public.
  • Every Proper Lady Should Curtsy: In the first episode, Mina gives a mocking curtsy to Mai's equally mocking hand clap midst their battle. The curtsy is performed with a camouflage-patterned miniskirt.
  • Forgetful Jones: Mina has a terrible memory and often forgets she's met people before or that Mai is actually a girl.
  • Girl Posse: Mina has one. They also act mooks in the PCFS video game.
  • Groin Attack: Both genders get this. A tactic especially favored by Mina. (And herself a frequent target of that).
  • Heel–Face Revolving Door: Is constantly switching from being an ally and enemy of the heroes.
  • Kick Chick: Her major combat style.
  • Naked People Are Funny: Mina's short skirt (and, er, everything beneath it) getting destroyed after the garbage can she was in gets hit by a large truck, forcing her to steal Bobby's pants (which don't fit). Since Bobby was already shirtless, this puts him up for this trope as well.
  • Nose Bleed: Happens especially to her often.
  • Shock and Awe: Both Mina and Principal Morrigan have this power, with the latter's being far stronger.
  • Yaoi Fangirl

     Mouse
Cheat sheet (Episode 2): "Mouse is Mouse."

An odd girl with two more personalities: one good, one evil, both superpowered.

Male students

     Bobby Sykes

A male student in the Maximus Institute and Ayane's crush. He is an angel, something he tries to hide.

  • All There in the Manual: Bobby debuted in Emezie's old comics, most notably in TRIO!.
  • Accidental Kiss: Mai delivers one to Bobby, which gets caught on her cellphone camera. Then she accidentally sends the picture to Ayane's phone. Hilarity Ensues.
  • Accidental Pervert: In Episode 3, Bobby, Nutt and Blade get a good view of the underneath of Mouse's skirt when she accidentally conks her own head with a baseball bat and collapses, legs spread. Embarrassed Nutt and Blade are quick to close Mouse's legs and blame (a chained and thus immobile) Bobby for being a pervert.
  • All Love Is Unrequited: Bobby has a crush on Mina. Though the ending credits of the first episode already lampshaded this.
  • Big Damn Heroes:
    • Episode 1: If jumping down the school building and sprouting out his wings to save a falling Ayane doesn't count for this, then what does?
  • Clothing Damage: Bobby's wings frequently destroy his own shirt whenever they emerge.
  • Death Glare: Bobby delivers one at Ayane who had barfed onto him upon colliding with a table.
  • Epic Fail: When Mina slips and falls off the bridge, Bobby just stands in one place and stretches out his arms, not even close enough to reach her. This leads to one of the few spoken lines of the cartoon. "Great Job!"
  • Nice Guy: Bobby, despite not genuinely returning Ayane's affections, is kind to her anyway. He also instructs Mai and Ayane in the PCFS video game.
  • Our Angels Are Different: Bobby lacks the halo and whose wings can change shape to shield him in combat. He seems to be trying to hide this from most people, a fact that Mai exploits in Episode 2.
  • Red Is Heroic: Bright red hair? Check. Ready to jump into danger (and reveal his angel wings) to save someone's life? Check.
  • Shuriken Catch: He is able to catch surprise shurikens thrown by Mai midair.
  • Significant Green-Eyed Redhead: Red hair? Check. Green eyes? Close-ups, check. Someone's crush? CHECK.
  • Take a Third Option: Halloway cuts trees to fall onto unconscious Ayane and Mina. Which one Bobby will save? Answer: Both: First Bobby dashes to get Mina to safety, then he dives under the tree falling onto Ayane and sprouts his wings to stop the tree.

     Nutt

A troublemaking male student in the Maximus Institute. He is a devil and Bobby's enemy.

  • Even Bad Men Love Their Mamas: He visits his mom in jail and even has an Imagine Spot of him breaking her out of jail.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Nutt jumps between Blade and transformed Mouse to prevent his friend getting struck. Actually this is a calculated move: Nutt then uses his blood to handcuff the attacker. However, Mouse manages to get herself out anyway by shattering his blood armor.
  • Mustache Vandalism: In his debut, Nutt is drawing mustache and chest hair for the female figure of women's toilet room door, and similarly breasts, dress and hair for the male figure. Then he switches the "Men" and "Women" signs.
  • Our Demons Are Different: He is a devil who can materialize his blood into deathly spikes or protective armor. He isn't entirely evil either, as he is willing to jump in to protect his gang member Blade.
  • White Hair, Black Heart: He's an antagonistic demon with white hair.

     Michael "the Blade" Dalton
A member of Nutt's gang, the Krunky Punks.
  • Clothing Damage: Blade's shirt (and also pants) burn into thin air when he goes to rescue Mouse who is attempting to burn herself alive for what her evil side had committed.
  • A Day in the Limelight: Episode 3 gives Blade some more characterization and tells about his late terminally ill sister(?) Amy, which later motivates him to rescue Mouse from suicide.
"Last time, my arms weren't strong enough to hold on."

     Tiny
A tiny member of Nutt's gang, the Krunky Punks.
  • All There in the Manual: Tiny's name is not revealed within the episode but in the credits and comments instead. He also appeared in Emezie's old comics.

     Halloway Jr.
A mysterious silver-haired man who appears to be obsessed with getting romantic strings right. He can reveal people's objects of affection by kissing them and appears to possess other superpowers as well. Debuted in The Stinger of Episode 5.
  • Accidental Kiss: Ayane crashes at him when she mistakes him into Bobby from a distance.
  • All There in the Manual: Halloway's name or background aren't revealed in the episodes for now, but they are told in Emezie's DeviantArt account and his old web comics.
  • Anime Hair: He has rather Sephiroth-esque bangs. And equally Sephiroth-eque silver long hair.
  • Green Thumb: The Stinger of Episode 7 shows Halloway putting together trees together, after having cut them down.
Halloway: *gets hit by a falling apple* >:( "I said I was sorry!"
  • Mystical White Hair: Halloway's silver hair readily indicates that he isn't your regular classmate.
  • Playing with Fire
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: Upon finding out that Bobby crushes at Mina, Halloway wants to put Bobby and Ayane's relationship into test. He goes rather far in that (even though he then shows he never wants to risk his test subjects' lives, and he even mends the trees he had cut down).

Antagonists

     Principal Morrigan / "The Queen"
"A school without discipline is a school without class."

The violent and sadistic principal of The Maximus Institute.

  • Berserk Button: Don't break Morrigan's sunglasses.
  • Pet the Dog: Saves Mai's fan club even though they tried to prevent her from getting anywhere near her.
  • Shock and Awe: Like Mina, her fighting style utilizes electricity, only hers is far stronger.
  • Sinister Shades: In orange. Don't break them or knock them off.
  • Villain Decay: 20+ Episodes in, every time she's revealed, she's treated in a humiliating fashion, and easily defeated by people she should not be losing to. She's a shell of the competent, menacing, and intimidating villain she seemed to be back in Episode 5.

     Goose
A French woman who stole the Bangers from Mina and renamed them to "The Flock."
  • Berserk Button: Hates being called a weak woman.
  • The Stoic: Hardly expresses any kind of emotion.
    • Not So Stoic: She does express anger as Mina was continually attempting to defeat her despite being outmatched, and also displays embarrassment when her undergarments were exposed to the school body.

Other

Mrs. Angela Rose / Biker Momma
The leader of a local biker gang. Featured in Episode 4.
  • Animal Motifs: Ladybug: she has ladybug tattoos and a ladybug-patterned bike. She is even referred as a ladybug in the symbol dialogue. That doesn't make her any less badass.
  • Big-Breast Pride: Her challenge to Mina tells it all:
    Angela: ♀ VS ♀?
    Mina: ♀ VS ♀!
The camera turns at Angela and her endowed chest, then to Mina's much smaller chest.
    Angela: ♀ VS .
  • Cool Bike: Ladybug-patterned!
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Is quite arrogant and gruff, but can be surprisingly sweet and caring when she wants to be. She is called Biker Momma after all.
  • Yaoi Fangirl: Neither is Angela immune to the sight of hawt guys making out.

     Kit Hart
Bobby's childhood friend and self-appointed big sister, debuted in Episode 7.
