A few episodes reference Sailor Moon's speech. Over time, it started to make references to popular manga and anime, such as Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and then Case Closed. Sometimes, Puni even questions the other characters' making such references. Thus Manga Soprano gets a Shout-Out subpage.
- "Husband's parents broke the marriage because of a scar on my face. →I tell them my assets ..." [sic]: Elementary-aged Karin and Casino played "Punicure" with their uncle Baccarat, making references to Sailor Moon, with the game's name being a Pretty Cure reference.
- 'The woman who wrecked my car→"My husband is a gangster. Forgive me"' [sic]: Haru likes two shows named Punicar and Puni Derby.
- "My fiancée's sister tried to tear my dress at our wedding": Haru makes a lot of references to Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, mostly of Shinobu Kocho. Even Narita joins in with her.
- "A woman who is incompetent, but who continued to be coveted for her beauty→When she turned 40": a middle-aged Alto is drawn like Tara-chan when Kanade prepares him coffee.
- "My sister called me to tell me that she had plundered her fiancé": Onpu makes a reference to Case Closed while mocking Karin about having "the body of an adult and the intellect of a child", unlike the main character of said manga.
- "My daughter told the truth to a mommy friend who forced her to wear a bathing suit": When Haru refused to let Rino take off her rashguard at the pool, she kept boasting about her "Mine Fujiko-style body", complete with a drawing of said character with her eyes censored out.
- "My sister called me fat, disrespected me, and stole my fiancé": Satoshi makes a Pokémon reference when he orders the dog Tone to attack Utako and the comic switches to the layout of a Pokémon battle. Later on, Utako herself makes a pun of "catching him", showing an image of her holding a Poké Ball after snatching Satoshi. What's more, the fact the man is named Satoshi is a reference in itselfnote .
- "I heard that my husband was absent from work due to high fever, so when I went home with anxiety...": When Yoshikazu and Misa tried to minimize their affair after Ram locks them in the shower, Ram objects while doing the pointing pose from Ace Attorney, complete with the "Objection!" speech bubble in Japanese.
- "When a beautiful woman with outstanding style takes off her mask for a meal…": Haru keeps making references to Kimetsu when secretly complaining about Ruri's stuck-up behavior. Later on, when Casino and Baccarat mocked Ruri's overbite, Haru quoted Muzan Kibutsuji to get them off her back. Moreover, even Casino and Baccarat themselves make Kimetsu references as they run away.
- "I was pretended to be dead by my family, and I took revenge": Haru makes a Dragon Ball reference after Ram sends her the details of the required design for a wedding. While Haru shouts "With my full designer power of 530,000!", her face is drawn in a style reminiscent of Akira Toriyama's accompanied by shine effects.
- "The nerdy boy got a special button that allowed him to stop time. He acts as he pleases...": Takeuchi proclaims he'll be "the god of the new world" after getting ahold of the mysterious time-stopping device Kanade was holding after lying to her about taking it to the police.
- "The girl who claims to have a not two-faced personality is making fun of me. But...": While she trained her running with Haru, she had Kanade perform Kaio-ken as an exercise instead of proper running, which Puni immediately questions. The second time this happens, he even brings up Son Goku.
