Despite being a nice setting featuring a cute animal-fairy mascot and colorful protagonists, this doesn't mean Manga Soprano is free from having scary moments.
- "My sister plundered my fiancé! Now my arranged marriage partner is also plundered": After successfully taking over Ram's marriage to the wealthy Ikki-san, Nonoka discovers the man's true colors as a misogynistic, sexist jerk. For starters, he refuses to divorce her and only gives her the minimum to live while using the rest on having affairs with other women, treats her like a slave, and goes off on her whenever she doesn't finish housework before he comes home. By the time she escapes to meet Ram, she's all worn out from the stress.
- To make matters worse, she's completely alone as Ikki-san bribed any lawyer she brought into looking the other way and leaving, her parents were a traditional couple who regarded her situation as normal for wives to endure, while her older sister Ram flat-out refused to help while blaming her for trying to steal her things in the past.
- After Ram kicks her out of her apartment, Nonoka frantically knocks on the door while apologizing to Ram until she notices the knocking dies down suddenly. From the context, it's implied that Ikki-san caught her while she banged on the door.
- "My husband's ex-girlfriend pushed me, a pregnant woman, down the stairs, but actually...": Hidemi, Alto's Psycho Ex-Girlfriend, refused to get over him and tried to get back with him despite his protests. Moreover, she was willing to kill any woman who dared to marry Alto, which caused his wife, Kanade, to fear for her life once warned.
