Leisure Suit Larry 1: In the Land of the Lounge Lizards
- Since Larry is stuck in The '70s (and dressed appropriately), he partly dances at the club like John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever. And like a Cossack, similarly to the SNF parody in Airplane!, including a similar gag involving the girl being thrown up into the air and taking several seconds to come back down. Finally, the song that plays on the dance floor in the VGA version is a funky version of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, just like Walter Murphy's "A Fifth of Beethoven" from the SNF soundtrack.
- In Reloaded, one of the random doors you can knock on in the hotel has someone proclaim: "Never mind, Alyson, just tell me again about that one time in band camp.."
- Also in Reloaded, you can find pin-ups of Beatrice Spankmeister and "Sweet Cheeks" Marie in the back of Lefty's.
- Traveling to one of the new locations added in Reloaded has the Narrator explain that Larry has traveled through a maze of twisty little passages, all alike.
Leisure Suit Larry 2: Looking for Love (in Several Wrong Places)
- Princess Rosella from the King's Quest series cameos as a hairdresser.
Leisure Suit Larry 3: Passionate Patti in Pursuit of the Pulsating Pectorals
- Typing in "look ass" when a girl is present gives the response "Round, firm, fully-packed! So easy on the draw!", which is a reference to a 1947 song by Merle Travis.
- "The Incredible Dork" (the music that plays when Larry is working out) is a pastiche of Rocky's "Gonna Fly Now", with Nontoonyt Island's theme mixed in.
Leisure Suit Larry 6: Shape Up or Slip Out!
- The song "Cell Block Love" is all about Sonny and Marie Bonds' love life.
Leisure Suit Larry 7: Love for Sail!
- The Juggs' Leitmotif is a country rock version of "The Ballad of Freddy Pharkas."
- Looking at the poodle skin in the ship's kitchen will cause the narrator to exclaim "No! Not Fifi!", a possible reference to Archduke Fifi le Yipyap from King's Quest VII: The Princeless Bride.
- In the cooking contest, when the male judge sees the female judges reaction to Larry's special cuisine, he say "I'll have what she's having" ala When Harry Met Sally...
- Harriet is a dead ringer for Michelle from American Pie. You can even get Larry to lampshade it during the conversation where he yells at his agent with one of the incorrect dialogue choices.Larry: OK, we all saw American Pie. Haha. Let's get some fresh material.
- The "brain-exchanging machine" is an interocitor.
Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry
- The title itself is a reference to D4 (Dark Dreams Don't Dry)
- Quite a few women on Timber are references, for example, Sara Soft (Tomb Raider, specifically the polygonal PlayStation games)
- Lefty's bathroom stall sports a Call of Doo Doo poster on it.
