- Take a sip when you get points, often signified by a jingle.
- Take a sip when Larry says "I wish I had a dollar for every time I've heard THAT!"
- Take a sip for every "A feeling not wholly unfamiliar to you" moment.
- Take a sip when Larry/Patti dies. Take two sips if it's because of the KGB in 2.
- Take a sip every time you're Save Scumming, whether it's because of a Betting Mini-Game or something else.
- Take a sip every time you run into Copy Protection (or an age quiz).
- Take a shot when a close-up of a woman is first shown on-screen. Take two if it's Dale Carlsonian from 3.
- Take a shot when you run into a Guide Dang It! moment.
- Take a shot if the game becomes unwinnable.
- Take a shot if you find something politically incorrect.
- Take a swig of victory when Larry actually scores at the end.
