Shout Out / JToH's Joke Towers

Go To

With thousands of content, it gets difficult to not have at least one Shout-Out.

  • The Excavation Chain is a clear homage to Button Simulator: Excavation Discoveries, another Roblox game; not only are all difficulties in the chain themed after said game's stats, but it also incorporates gameplay elements and even entire locations!
  • Felix the ДА has Felix the Cat's name and face plastered on it.
  • MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE is a clear reference to SpongeBob SquarePants' Big Bad, Plankton.
  • The alternate icon for Decimation features the face of The Battle Cats. Well, most of them.
  • Nonexistent's icon features the Teletubbies, edited deep into Nightmare Fuel territory.
  • There's a difficulty called Ultra Instinct. I wonder where that came from...
    • That's not even mentioning a sub-difficulty (which is now deleted, unfortunately) which was literally called "Super Saiyan".
  • Did you fail to catch the reference in MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE? You can't miss it this time; there's a difficulty literally called "Spongebob".
  • John Cena Tycoon. Yes, that's a difficulty.
  • Right after John Cena Tycoon, then there's Big Chungus. Again, that's a real thing.
  • Doog's icon is a rather jarring image of the infamous Creepypasta, Smile Dog.
  • Aleph-VSC is themed after the ludicrously infamous, Nintendo Hard (if not humanly impossible) fanmade level in Geometry Dash, VSC. Not only is it in the name and icon, but you actually have to beat the level every 25 seconds in one of the catches.
  • Misery's icon features the Nintendo DS.
  • YOSHI HAMMER is... well, Yoshi with a hammer.
  • Tediously Impossible, a difficulty that's remained reserved for... a while, has an edited image of Thomas the Tank Engine, now with a Nightmare Face.
  • Blue Moon and CASTLE TIDES!!! are both references to yet another Roblox game, this time being maps from Flood Escape 2.
  • MiceHELL's icon features a mouse from Transformice with a few effects applied to it.
  • Cookie is a reference to Cookie Clicker, along with its buffed variant, Golden Cookie.
  • Libet's Delay and It's Just a Burning Memory are both references to the musical works of Leyland Kirby, both also using respective album covers for their icons.
  • Engineer references the eponymous defensive class from Team Fortress 2.
  • Right after Engineer is another reference, being There Is No Difficulty; a homage to There Is No Game.
  • We Didn't Finish On Time is based off of... Whatever this is.
  • Teardrop is a clear reference to the eponymous Battle for Dream Island character.
  • There's a difficulty named Virtual Insanity. I think you already know what it's based off of.
  • This one is hard to catch, but apparently Just Difficulties and Towers is a reference to Just Shapes & Beats. At least that explains the name...
  • Hardest in the Room and Heat are both references to Yung Spinach.
  • Doge has a dedicated difficulty as well.
  • TAILS DIVINITY features Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog. Let's just say he's not in a good mood.
  • Yes, there's a Rubik's Cube difficulty too. Guess that's what the hype with Mysterious Cube of Rubik is all about.
