Smile Dog is a famous Creepypasta written by an unknown author. It is about a cursed image, Smile.jpg, depicting a polaroid of a husky with human teeth and a Slasher Smile. In another version of the image, Smile Dog appears even more frightening.
The protagonist investigates events caused by Smile.jpg, which the titular Smile Dog is in the form of. He hides in floppy disks and travels through emails.
It turns out that Smile Dog can enter the dreams of those who view Smile.jpg, and drive them to insanity, with them eventually ending up dead.
In order to save themselves, his victims must spread the word by showing the image to someone else, usually through a chain email, resulting in the other person becoming a victim, and so on.
