Void Observation Group
The VOG
is a wiki serving as a Spiritual Successor to both the SCP Foundation and the RPC Authority; it's also based off the works of a friendnote of the wiki's creator and loosely based off The Blueballs Incident as well."VOG" stands for "Void Observation Group", an organization whose goal is to deal with an entity called "the Void" and its "Void Spawns", trying to find a way to stop them.
Unlike the wikis that served as its inspiration, the VOG doesn't host an open community but is for a limited number of writers.
The VOG provides examples of:
- Always Chaotic Evil: The Void Spawns (or VOGs) are creatures corrupted by the Void, which makes them an entire species of destructive beings. VOG-087, however, seems to be an exception.
- Benevolent Conspiracy: The VOG, just like its spiritual predecessors, is a secret organization that means well.
- Big Bad: While the Void is undoubtedly the biggest threat in the setting and the one responsible for the VOG's existence, it's more of a Greater-Scope Villain since it really isn't an active and direct threat to the VOG. VOG-130, on the other side, is a much more direct and active enemy, being the Anti-VOG's leader and the reason the VOG has to be a secret organization.
- The Empire: The Foundation is a powerful multiversal empire allied with the VOG.
- The Multiverse: The wiki acknowledges this trope quite a lot. The VOG has its bases in multiple universes and its very personnel is of multiversal origins; the Void Spawns also come from different universes.
