Here is stuff on hold, for various reasons. Hype Prevention Sandbox is important to keep in mind
- I have some ideas for tropes but I want to know what direction I should take. So I'm looking for advice
- Alternate Personality Punishment: Is this trope best suited for the punished, or the punisher? Or both? Answer: the punished
- Point of Divergence: Would this trope work for the force that caused the divergence, a character most affected by the divergence, or a setting trope for said divergence? Answer: it can be used for a dominion and deity
- Alternate Self: With this trope, should its representative be an alternate self of an already existing character in the Trope Pantheon they have interacted with, or an original character and their alternate self? Answer: The character should come from a work where the idea of alternate selves is a big deal within the story.
- I am of the opinion Historical Person Punchline should go to someone who is a common subject of the trope. Who would you say is used so much that they'd be a fitting rep in the pantheon?
- Alternate Universe Fic: With this trope, should I focus on the character of a famous fic or the author of many an AU fic? I think the former. I am also wondering if it has to be written fanfiction or can it be a fanfiction on Youtube?
- Need to check if taken first: Masazo Kinoto (Torment by Annoyance), Edward Scissorhandsnote (Cumbersome Claws), The Court of Owls (Secret Circle of Secrets (see if Crimson Shark is OK with it)), the cast of Timeless (Only One Me Allowed Right Now), Numemor (Soiled City on a Hill), Denethor (Died in Ignorance), Luci (Louis Cypher, ask if TPPR is fine with it), Sorcerio (Secret Message Wink), The Guardians of the Universe (Humorless Aliens), Lazlo Valentin, Alexis Kaye (Word-Salad Horror, Bad Influencer)
- Awful Hospital ideas for Excessive-Menace (after ascending Fern Green for Green Around the Gills or Interactive Comic): Dr H.M Phage (Mega-Microbes)
- South Park ideas (need to see if trope is taken): Herbert Garrison (Gay Conservative, need to wait in case Trump gets a second term, restoration)
- Not sure who to pick yet
- Adaptational Jerkass: Soldier Body (might be a better fit than Phony Veteran, would be on hold until the show ends), Ego, Rex Splode
- Outdated by Canon: Hanasia and/or Vegetto, evil Hohenheim (fanon that got disproven by future canon)
- Virtuous Character Copy: The Immortal, Caine
- Character ideas on hold(need approval): The Monitor-Mind (needs Morrison to develop it more), The Empty Hand (needs the Multiversity plan Morrison has to be finished), Snoke (needs his true nature confirmed and made concrete), Jessica, Birdperson (requires development and resolution on their plots), maybe some The Boys characters. Also American Vampire (two months after 1976 is released); considering if Vampire Variety Pack would be applicable, and how. Interested in Record of Ragnarok (two months after anime is complete), Invincible (two months after Netflix series is complete), Alien Biospheres (two months after the series is complete), Warhammer 40,000 (Xenos like Necrons and Tau), Murder Drones (on hold until the series is complete)
- Note: series I like on hold due to hype or other reasons (part official restrictions, part personal restrictions)
- Chainsaw Man: Two months after anime adaptation of the Public Safety Arc is done
- The Boys: Two months until the live-action adaptation's conclusion (would consider the TV show for characters)
- Fantastic Beasts: Two months after Film 5
- Spider-Man: Spider-Verse: July 30
- House of the Dragon: 2 months after series finale
- Hazbin Hotel: 2 months after TV series finale
- Helluva Boss: 2 months after series finale
- Murder Drones: 2 months after series finale
- Final Space: 2 months after The Final Chapter is released
- Ideas on hold due to prevent hype
- Check if trope taken, then wait until hype prevention is over: Mizu (GottaKillThemAll or Patricide)
- The Golem of Prague, God of Golems (on hold until the Regis are reworked by Bazzardreturns)
- Gilderoy Lockhart, God of Being Based Off Who The Author Hates: on hold until May 10. Gilderoy Lockhart is the Miles Gloriosus anti-mentor in Chamber of Secrets. This Hate Sink is based off of a real person that JK Rowling hated, "barely exaggerated" in personality from an enormous blowhard she had to deal with for two years.
- Beep the Meep, God of Deceptively Cute Critters: on hold until May 13. Beep the Meep is a major villain of the Doctor Who magazines that recently got to show up in the show. Beep is an adorable looking gerbil-like alien that, due the Black Star mutations on his race, is actually an intergalactic psychopathic criminal. He blatantly exploits his cute appearance by in his first appearance pretending to be a harmless Alien Among Us when on the run, being a Depraved Kids' Show Host and other schemes.
- Vladimir Harkonnen, God of Embodying Vices: Baron Harkonnen is one of the major antagonists of Dune, an opulent tyrant that is written to embody the depths of humanity's decadence and societal stagnation. A bloated spice addict and vicious, arrogant Dirty Old Man who wastes riches and exploits the planet, he is a slave to his vices and desires, everything a leader shouldn't be and self-interested to the core. On hold until June 14.
- Torterra, God of Earthy Tortoises (Hall of Reptiles)-Torterra is a Grass/Ground tortoise starter Pokemon that carries around a full-grown tree and set of rocky spikes on its back that make it resemble a living hillock. Its name contains the Latin word for Earth, is styled off the World Turtle and is called the Continent Pokemon, enhancing its land qualities. On hold until June 24
- Miguel O'Hara (Earth-928B): The Stations of the Canon. The Spiderverse trilogy has a major plot point of "canon events", that there are necessary events in every Spider-person's life that they have to go through for the story to work. The radioactive bite, losing their Uncle Ben or equivalent. Miguel is either an Anti-Villain and/or Hero Antagonist who, due to personal experience, works to enforce this canon and becomes an enemy to Miles Morales when he tries to stop a canon event of his father's predicted death. It is a worldview deconstructed and proven malleable. Not sure how to word this. Wait until 2 months after finale. Same with the below-mentioned entry
- Jonathan Ohm, God of Portable Holes (Hall of Space Manipulation)-Spot/the Spot is a quirky Spiderman villain. He used to work for the Kingpin and an experiment led to him having portal holes on his body. He can manipulate them and move them around or make his own. This lets him use them in combat, Thinking Up Portals for some Confusion Fu. While he's usually an Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain who doesn't fully apply the potential, when the writers want to throw him a bone he can be an effective foe. Isn't that right, Miles? FYI this profile would be mainly 616 but his Spider-verse self (being a glow-up) would influence the profile
- Barris Offee, Goddess of Being Last Seen Imprisoned: a case of Adaptational Villainy and Adaptational Alternate Ending to Legends canon. Barris is a friend of Ahsoka and Jedi Padawan who grows increasingly disillusioned with the Jedi order and the Clone Wars. This eventually leads her to fall to the dark side and bomb the Jedi Temple hangar, then turn Ahsoka into the scapegoat for her actions. All to punish the Jedi for becoming warmongers. She's last seen being sent to prison, but it's never made clear what happened to her and whether she ever broke out/was executed/ect. While there was speculation that one of the Inquisitors was Barris, Filoni has debunked this. On hold until we get more clear info on her future
- Allen the Alien, God of Going FTL Without Assistance (Hall of Non-Vehicular Travel)-A Unopan Champion Evaluation Officer who worked for the Coalition of Planets. A Breakout Character of Invincible, he runs a circuit of Coalition planets, evaluating their champions' ability to defend their plant, with no sign of needing a ship. He has the ability to travel across the vast expanse of space faster than light
- Thokk, God of Living Up To Being Named "Beast": an alien Great White Feline, Thokk's alias is that of Battle Beast. Acting as a Nominal Hero, he has the name of Battle Beast because he is quite beastly in more than just appearance; Battle Beast is the biggest Blood Knight in the comic and essentially sees nothing more important to him than finding worthy opponents to fight to the death with. A shameless Ax-Crazy satiating his bloodlust, he's considered one of the baddest dudes in the universe
- I am thinking of an idea for What If…? (2021): give The Guardians of the Multiverse What If?. Marvel is one of the first to really popularize the parallel universe idea of exploring what if certain stories went differently. This is an MCU spiritual adaptation and they are characters Uatu gathered from different what if scenarios, like T'Challa being Star Lord, or Peggy Carter becoming the Captain America equivalent. On hold until Season 3 is done
- Ideas on hold for my own personal reasons
- Cade Skywalker, God of Refusing The Call: the protagonist of the Star Wars Legacy comic is a Skywalker descendant who knows how being a Skywalker often sucks big time. When the Sith come to take over the galaxy again, he dips and becomes a pirate, wanting to be left alone from the Light and Dark Side conflict. He tries to Screw Destiny even when Anakin and Luke's Force ghosts show up, though eventually he ends up having to be involved anyway. Need to complete my reading of Star Wars Legacy (same with below)
- A'Sharad Hett, God of Lowered Recruiting Standards (Hall of Job Modifications, Lawful Evil)-Darth Krayt is a Fallen Hero, a long-lived Sith who forms a new Sith Empire over a century after the movies in Legends. Comparable in age to Anakin Skywalker, he ends up dropping the Rule of Two the Sith had held for a millennium and uses the Rule of One; dark siders who would've been acolytes or assassins in the past can now be Sith. His choice of doing so is why he cannot get help from Darth Bane's hologram; he is disgusted by the abandonment of the Rule of Two
- Rickard, God of Malicious Ice Cream Vendors: a cruel, otherworldly being, Rickard is the titular Ice Cream Man. This surreal horror comic follow an anthology format and follows different characters each issue as they come into contact with a strange being known as Rick the ice cream man. From there their lives all take a turn (usually for the worst) as the ice cream man toys with reality and spreads human suffering wherever he can. He's a Humanoid Abomination that inevitably causes chaos where he goes. Need to finish reading this
- Danny the Street, God of LGBTQ+ Neighborhoods (Hall of Homes and Urban Establishments)-Danny the Street is an interesting case of a Genius Loci Gayborhood. He's a sentient street that can generate matter and teleport, seamlessly integrating himself into existing cities. Whatever the form, he serves as a sanctuary for LGBTQ+ groups. Not only that, but he is Camp Gay himself...well, as much as orientation even applies to a sentient street. On hold until Weird Warrior does the main Doom Patrol (same stipulation as the entry below)
- Mr Morden, God of Dadaism: Mr Nobody was a memorable antagonist of the Doom Patrol introduced in Grant Morrison's run. Becoming a shadowy Transhumanoid Abomination after going mad in a White Void Room, his Brotherhood of Dada is heavily themed around Dadaism. Seeking to liberate mankind from the "curse" of sanity, his actions and behavior are in-keeping with the absurdist angle of the Dadaist movement
- Aja Oba, God of Immortal Geniuses: alive since before the Roman Empire, possessing Complete Immortality. Aja is is fiercely intelligent, aided by the fact that he has more time to study than any other human being in the world. He bankrolls space colonization, and lead his own team of scientists in terraforming a new world. He uses his cunning to eventually become an Immortal Ruler and grows Stronger with Age
- The Supergods, Unholy Octect Of Superhero Horror: these eight superhumans are an attempt to ask "what would happen if superheroes were cosmic horrors?" These are god-complexed, Blue-and-Orange Morality abominations who with the exception of Morrigan Lucus were a Deity of Human Origin. And the Earth soon becomes their playthings, for they are far from the friendly superheroes we're used to
- Ideas on hold until their series concludes (open to change)
- The Amazing Digital Circus Performers, Divine Sextet of Toon Transformations (Hall of Transformations)-The Amazing Digital Circus is a surreal Black Comedy where six people are stuck in a 90s style PC video game called the Amazing Digital Circus. Their digital avatars are living toys that are colorful, cartoonish and subject to Toon Physics. It highlights the Gilded Cage, Subverted Kids' Show angle of this series
- The Tortured One, God of Dark Fics: on hold for 3 months after the sequel series concludes. The Bikini Bottom Horror is a horror-based fanfic of the Spongebob Squarepants series, which starts by Patrick snapping and gruesomely eating Spongebob in a similar way to how real starfish eats. The Tortured One is a Patrick clone who was captured and tortured so his regenerating flesh could be used for the Krabby Patty. He breaks out and becomes a monstrous kaiju. This fanfic sees Spongebob memes and jokes twisted on their head to add to the horror, with some Black Comedy too
- Ideas on hold: interested in media but need to know what's taken first. That being Hot Tub Time Machine, Titan A.E., The Expanse, Avatar, American Dragon: Jake Long, Princess Mononoke, Bruce Almighty, The Book of Life, Moana, Pinocchio, The Martian, Blackadder, Dorohedoro, The Midnight Gospel, Arcane, Maya and the Three
- Stuff taken by others beforehand: The Crew of the Rociante (Living Legend), Legoshi and Haru (Smart Animal, Inconvenient Instincts), something about Dark Schneider (Sealed Inside a Person-Shaped Can)
- Check if trope is taken first before proposing: Hot Tub Time Machine protagonists (Mental Time Travel or Our Time Machine Is Different...probably the last one), Cale Tucker and Akima Kunimoto, The Drej (Humans Are Survivors, Energy Being, ask Aj Wargo if they're OK with this choice instead of Pyron), some of the Dark (2017) characters or just Elisabeth and Charlotte Doppler (Time-Traveler's Baby), Mark Watney (Competence Porn), Kaima and Nikaido, En (Dungeon Punk or New Weird, Festering Fungus), Rose, the Huntsman (Non-Protagonist Resolver, Death by Secret Identity), Louis, Riz (Humanizing Tears, No Medication for Me or Self-Serving Memory)
- ASOIAF ideas on hold for various reasons
- Renly Baratheon and Loras Tyrell, Co-Gods of Personal Secrets Being Less So In The Adaptation: Renly and Loras were secret lovers in the book, their sexuality being implied initially and while it's clear what their orientation was after Renly's death it's still something only those very close to the two knew. In the TV show, their relationship is an Open Secret than even the Lannister guardsmen have caught on and it is never a reveal for the audience
- Prince Daeron Targaryen, God of Unhappy Mediums (Hall of Prophets)-on hold in case a live-action adaptation becomes a thing. Targaryens will sometimes have "dragon dreams", which are prophetic. Daeron may be the most accurate seer in the family's history, however he sees are dark and terrifying. He's The Alcoholic and a deliberate slacker who fears being a Mad Oracle and drinks to cope
- Queen-Claimant Rhaenyra And King Aegon II Targaryen, God and Goddess Of Siblings With A Huge Age Gap (Hall of Siblings)-the claimants of the Blacks and the Greens of the Dance of the Dragons. Rhaenyra is the only surviving kid from Viserys I's first marriage, and he ended up convinced to remarry while she was already old enough to be considered heir. Rhaenyra is between 10 and 17 years older than her half-brothers, and in the series adaptation Aegon is more comparable to his nephews in age.
- Jacaerys, Lucerys and Joffrey Velaryon, Divine Brothers Of Clearly Illegitimate Children (Hall of Offsprings)-Rhaenyra's princes with Laenor Velaryon are suspected of (confirmed in the TV show) of being fathered by her lover Harwin Strong. It's pretty obvious; asides from Laenor being gay, they lack the Valyrian features and look more like Strong boys. Especially in the show where the Velaryons get a race swap so it's obvious. While it was an open relationship their bastardry is the Elephant in the Living Room and plays a part in the growing resentment of the future Blacks and Greens
- Alicent Hightower, God of Mothers Making Their Son King (Hall of Mothers)-the mother of Aegon II and a key figure of the Dance of Dragons. Initially Viserys chooses to make his daughter Rhaenyra heir. Alicent and her father push to make her son Aegon II the rightful heir, and manage to position him into being crowned. This is an important part of the conflict between her and her former friend Rhaneyra
- Corlys Velaryon, God of Ethnicity Changes Through Adaptation: House Velayron are one of the surviving houses from Old Valyria. In the books they have the typical Valyrian features. While having the same silver hair in the show, they are played by black actors in the show. Corlys is the head of House Velayron during the Dance of the Dragons, and the race swap helps his Dreadlock Warrior appearance
- House of the Dragon ideas (three months after series finale): Daemon Targaryen and/or Viserys I Targaryen (either Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling together, or Warrior Prince and Disabled in the Adaptation apart)
- Berserk ideas
- The Dragonslayer: a restoration for the Great Treasury. The Dragonslayer is one of the key visual features of the main protagonist Guts, and his primary weapon. It is an absolutely huge and unwieldy sword made with the intent to slay a dragon. Guts can use it to slay Apostles, and it becomes more tempered in the blood and viscera of the supernatural it becomes a more effective sword against them. It is the sword part of his name "the Black Swordsman"
- Rickert, God of Serendipitous Survival: Rickert is along with Guts and Casca the only survivor of the original Band of the Hawk. Unlike them his survival was nothing sort of coincidental. Right before Griffith's Behelit activated he was sent off to look for water, which means he wasn't present for the Eclipse. As such, he's an important ally of Guts and Casca post-Eclipse and is initially Locked Out of the Loop
- Silat, God of Weapon Twirling (Hall of Weapon Wielding)-Silat is a Kushan Warrior Prince who uses exotic weapons, notably his chakram. He intimidatingly twirls his chakram around his fingers before throwing them, and uses his urimis by swishing the blades in circles. He has been compared to a circus performer
- Princess Charlotte Beatrix Marie Rhody Wyndham, Goddess of Meal Tickets: the princess of Midland is the daughter of the king and marrying her is Griffith's strategy for eventually getting the kingdom during the Golden Age. He ends up "acting" prematurely during a Villainous Breakdown, but even later after he becomes a demon god he still schemes to marry her in order to look more legitimate
- The Boys idea (on hold till 3 months after series is over. Crimson Shark has Stromfront for Second Super-Identity)
- Compound V: an idea I have for the Great Treasury. Compound V is the Super Serum of the Boys franchise. It is normally depicted as this blue chemical that Vought injects into people as a means of giving them superpowers. It has a risk of being a Psycho Serum but that's more due to the "power reveals" aspect of it. In the TV show they give infants the stuff so they eventually grow up to be potential supes for their company to make money off of. Season 3 introduced temporary V to be sold to the military
- Vasily Vorishkin, God of Being Comically Endowed: Vas, aka Love Sausage is an ally of the Boys in a comic, and while Demoted to Extra still has somewhat of a role in the TV show. He's called Love Sausage because he's packing a 15 inch minimum...well. It's clearly visible and rather awkward for the Boys. His name, Vas, is even a reference to the anatomy. In the show, his not so lil guy acts as a Prehensile Tail. Despite his sausage inevitably being the subject of jokes, he's one of most well-adjusted characters in the series
- Victor/Victoria Neuman, God and Goddess of Intelligence Via Adaptation: a number of characters from The Boys demonstrate a good deal more ingenuity and social cunning in the show, such as Homelander, the more savvy incarnation of Stormfront, and Soldier Boy. Vic Neuman is the most extreme case. Vic the Veep is so stupid he can barely form complete sentences and can't even play fetch with his dog. Victoria is a a cunning Mole in Charge who manages to deceive everyone she comes across with ease. In short, while they have similar political jobs and associations with Vought their mindset is completely flipped. To demonstrate I thought making it a dual profile with Vic the Veep as her Number Two for Brains
- I am thinking Soldier Boy as a candidate for Phony Veteran Soldier Boy is a Corrupted Character Copy of Captain America, though how that comes across depends on the medium. What is consistent is that he is sold like Captain America and supposedly fought in WW2 but in reality he's never seen combat. In the comic he's this cowardly dork who pretends to be the original Soldier Boy, who did fight...and was almost instantly killed due to his incompetence (Garth Ennis hates Cap a lot). In the TV show Soldier Boy is a legitimate fighter and soldier, however he was used as a propaganda piece and never actually fought in any war; at most he was involved in some private ventures but hardly the veteran he thinks. However, I am not sure in what way I should proceed; should I just do TV Soldier Boy as he's by far the most developed incarnation, or do both with some serious Other Me Annoys Me in effect?
- Other thoughts: Might ask Crimson Shark for advice and maybe adopt Stormfront if he hasn't done her first (I think maybe s/he fits Hate Crimes Are a Special Kind of Evil more). When this series ends I wonder if something will fit Ryan
- Chainsaw Man ideas to share and discuss with others (post-hype. Excessive-Menace and Shinobi are interested in these so ask them for the OK)
- Denji and Pochita, Co-Gods of Chainsaws (Hall of Weaponized Tools)-the titular Chainsaw Man is Denji, a Loser Protagonist who after being killed was revived and bound to/replacing his heart. Pochita is Chainsaw Devil, who personifies (the fear of) chainsaws. And tearing through enemies with chainsaws is their main method of attack
- Makima, Goddess of Stringing the Hopeless Suitor Along (Hall of Tainted Love, Lawful Evil)-Makima is a beautiful yet controlling woman who knows Denji is in love/lust for her, and tries to keep her from diverting and stay her dog in order to defeat the Gun Devil. In truth she wants control of Pochita through him, and the relationship is an allegory for grooming/abuse
- Power, Goddess of Being Targeted to Hurt the Hero (Hall of either Character Roles of Extroverted Characterization)-The Unkempt Beauty Power grows to becoming a friend of Denji. In order to mentally break Denji to awaken the power and control over the Chainsaw Devil, Makima kills Power in front of Denji specifically to traumatize him as part of her plans. Though she comes back afterward for long enough to die in a more effectual way.
- Kishibe, God of Being Strong Yet Scarred Over Time (Hall of Scars)-the Big Good Silver Fox Kishibe is the best Devil Hunter still alive. However you don't live that long in the job without not suffering your share of scars. He's a depressed alcoholic covered with scars and suffering from many psychological scars due to all the people he's lost and tragedy he's experienced
- Himeno, Goddess of Moral Promiscuity (Hall of Lustful Behavior)-Himeno is a Sexy Mentor and a hedonist in her behavior. She Really Gets Around and is openly flirty. However she is also one of the nicest characters in the series and cares deeply about her companions. And she wouldn't try to come on to a minor, and is horrified she almost did so when drunk
- Doll Woman, Goddess of Turning People Into Puppets (Hall of Transformations)-the real "Santa Claus" is in contract with the Doll Devil, who represents the fear of dolls. Her power is that she turns her victims into dolls and puppets of which she can control. She's a malicious controller and abuse paralleling Makima
- Doctor Who ideas (on hold until I've familiarized myself with parts of these series+check if trope taken)
- James Robert McCrimmon, God of Kilts: Jamie McCrimmon was an important companion of the 2nd Doctor and the longest running male companion. He's a Brave Scot from the 18th century and as such he wore a kilt. The fans clearly liked it since he was voted best legs in the UK.
- The War Chief, God of Having Warriors From Across The Ages: the War Games is a 10 part series and an important story in that it is the 2nd Doctor's regeneration story and the introduction of the Time Lords. The War Chief is the Big Bad, another renegade Time Lord who has kidnapped soldiers from all Earth's major wars and set them against each other, planning to winnow them out and use the survivors as an army of conquest. WWI Brits, American Revolutionaries, Roman legionaries ahoy. He believes Humans Are Warriors, you see. I should mention some theorize he's a younger Master but that was never the writer's intention (though the Master could be seen as his Expy)
- Josephine Jones nee Grant, Goddess of Attractive Assistants To The Science Hero (Hall of Aides and Benefactors)-a major companion to the 3rd Doctor. Jo Grant is an expert in escapology and a member of UNIT. She's also one of the OG Ms. Fanservice of the series and a cute, ditzy blonde to the science hero Doctor, though she's not stupid.
- Dorothy Gale, Goddess of Boots Representing Toughness (Hall of Handwear and Legwear)-Ace was the 7th Doctor's main companion and last companion of the Classic series. She's seen as one of the most badass of the companions and she's a consummate tomboy, and she wears rugged Doc Marten boots rather than the more fashionable shoes most companions wear.
- Doctor Who ideas (check if tropes are taken)-Magnus Greel (Life Drinker), Scaroth (One Chracter Multiple Lives), Zygons (They Look Like Us Now), Sharaz Jek (Masking the Deformity), Frobisher (Break the Comedian), Dr. Evelyn Smythe (It Never Gets Easier)
- Final Space ideas (wait on hold until three months after the graphic novel concludes the story+I watch it)
- I am considering the main protagonists of Final Space for Conclusion in Another Medium. This sci-fi animated show built up a compelling fall, and ended on one hell of an Accidental Downer Ending at Season 3. However it was announced in April 2023 that the series would be concluded in a graphic novel titled Final Space: The Final Chapter, set to be published in 2024.
- Ash Graven, Goddess of Ignoring The Rules Due To Her Supernatural Powers (Hall of Power Mentalities)-Whenever gets emotional, the mere threat of her unleashing her powers in a moment of passion is enough to cow everyone around her, even Bolo. She's aware of this, using them as a response and defensive tool, rarely even thinking to use anything else as a defensive or offensive tool. After fully being corrupted by Invictus, she relishes it
- Invictus, Unholy Usherer Of Accidental Downer Endings (Hall of Endings, Chaotic Evil)-Invictus is the Greater-Scope Villain of the series, a nightmarish Satanic Archetype and Eldritch Abomination that seeks to be freed of its prison so they can kill everything over and over, For the Evulz. Initially stuck in a Leaking Can of Evil as his astral form can still run rampant in Final Space, Season 3 ended on a particularly downer fate, with Ash taking Mooncake and using him to free Invictus, leaving him free to wreck havoc on the universe. There was meant to be a future season dealing with it but the series got canceled so the show ended with a The Bad Guy Wins situation. There would be a continuation in another media, but not for years after the show was canceled
- League of Legends ideas and related: (I think someone wants to work on Dr Mundo). Some on hold due to featuring in Arcane, mainly Caitlyn, Jinx and Vi (figure out what they fit later on)
- Jinx and Vi, Co-Goddesses of Adaptational Backstory Changes
- Caitlyn, Goddess of Attractive Law Enforcement
- Cassiopeia du Couteau, Goddess of Sexy Snake People (Hall of Reptiles)
- Silco, God of Villainous Parental Instincts
- SCP ideas (on hold because I want other people to contribute. Others have The Black Queen (Alliance of Alternates), The Daevites, SCP-3288, SCP-4494, SCP-4999 (The Aristocrats, Cops Need the Vigilante, You Are Not Alone or One Last Smoke), SCP-1000/the Children of the Night (Ultraterrestrials or Bigfoot, Sasquatch, and Yeti), SCP-2273 (Weird Historical War), SCP-3143 (Noir Episode))
- Pietro Wilson and IT, Divine Heralds of Dramatically Justified OOC: was suggested by Ferot Dreadnaught here. They're from timeline where the SCP Foundation underwent a revelation so shocking they chose to exterminate humanity. Pietro is the protagonist of SCP-5000, the story about this timeline and his attempt to solve the mystery of why the Foundation would do this. Wilson is the one who reset the timeline in a Heroic Sacrifice to solve their OOC, and IT is the reason for their OOC. IT is an eldritch being residing in humanity's collective psyche, responsible for for pain, empathy, and presumably fundamental sources. It is a Hidden Agenda Villain who's goal is so bad was the Foundation decided to Mercy Kill humanity. IT then influenced influenced Pietro to reset the timeline preventing it's discovery and so it's still out there...If you guys like this idea, do you think it should just belong to IT, or maybe IT and the alternate Foundation instead. Or is the idea Ferot suggested as it is good enough? People abstaining
- The Church of the Second Hytoth, Divine GOI Of Fantasy Counterpart Religions (Hall of Real and Legendary Pastiches, Religious Practice)-Ortothanism is a Creepy Good religious GOI from the SCP Foundation. It is an Expy of the Aztecs religion, believing in sacrifice, using Blood Magic, based in the the concept of a god associated with the Sun constantly fighting against alien enemies dedicated to the extinction of all life, and like the Aztecs they believe there was a universe before our own. However they differ in being considerably more pacifistic and low-key, with their bloodletting and sacrificial rituals avoiding the Human Sacrifice and warmongering angle of the Aztecs
- Are We Cool Yet, Divine GOI of Mad Artists (Hall of Workmanship)-AWCY is an avant-grade movement of loosely connected anartists, or anomaly-themed art. They're essentially a bunch of sociopathically-pretentious modern art types who make dangerous anomalous art. Some of their products include "the idea of a shark" (an empty space in the shape of a shark that can still eat you) and a collection of 5th dimension CDs that do a bunch of weird stuff related to the number five
- SCP-2747, Goddess of Story-Breaking Power (Hall of Power Levels and Appearance)-the Lady of Black Thorns is a very literal example of this trope. SCP-2747 is an anafabula, or anti-narrative. She eats narratives; she starts from stories within stories and goes upwards to the next narrative level. As the SCP Foundation is by its nature a narrative that makes her a really big threat, and knows how to use The Fourth Wall Will Not Protect You to good effect. Pretty much the only way you can even try to fight her is by using meta and narrative manipulation of your own
- See if other ideas aren't taken and work: Dr Jack Bright/Shaw (Parasitic Immortality), the Serpent (Domain Holder or Wise Serpent), Herman Fuller's Circus of the Disquieting (Acronyms Are Easy as Aybeecee), the Serpent's Hand (Portal Crossroad World), SCP-1370/Pesterbot (Pathetically Weak), SCP-3885-01 (Silly Spook), SCP-3999/James Talloran and the Being (Plot Bunny), SCP-6599/HOGSLICE (Internet Jerk)
- Vivziepop ideas on hold until 3 months after their series are concluded (focus on the main protags first, is flexible to change)
- I seek to give the main cast of Hazbin Hotel Karmic Reform Hell, though I am not sure how I should word it. The whole point of the series is that the Happy Hotel/Hazbin Hotel is Charlie Morningstar's attempt to redeem sinners so they may be able to leave Hell, due to Hell suffering from an Overpopulation Crisis. How dedicated they are to it varies from member to member. It would include at least Charlie, Vaggie, Niffty, Husk and Angel Dusk. Cherri Bomb might count depending on how things go
- If Alastor ends up turning traitor Radio Voice would probably be a natural choice; he's the Radio Demon, talks with a radio filter, hosts his own show and stubbornly holds onto the medium. He has a rivalry with Vox, who represents television. Sir Pentious might end up different due to unique status
- The Vees, Infernal Triad Of Wicked Modern Media: the Vees are Overlords of Hell, who take a modern stance to the Demon Lord And Archdevils trope. They represent and have dominion over modern media; Valentino is a pimp and porn director, Velvette is a Selfie Fiend in charge of the influencer angel and Vox is a TV mogul. Of the Overlord factions they are clearly the more evil group, and outside of Heaven make up the true villain antagonist role to the house. Vox is based on the television and is constantly chasing trends and allies himself with Valentino who's into the porn industry relying on sex slaves, and Velvette who is a Bad Influencer and also abusive to her staff. They're explicitly the youngest Overlords
- Pentagram City, Infernal City of the Damned: a domain. Pentagram City is the capital of Hell and the main focus of the setting where Charlie is looking to redeem sinners. Part of the Pride ring where the damned go to, it is one massive Wretched Hive where people indulge in their vices and overlord sinners hold a hegemony, as Lucifer rules over a dystopic metropolitan There's a yearly extermination by angels to prevent overpopulation from being an issue..more so as a justification
- Blitzo, Loona, Millie and Moxxie, Infernal Quartet Of Dealing With Mundane Issues In A Fantastic Setting: The main protagonists are literal demons living in Hell, and their job is Murder, Inc. helping damned souls assassinate living mortals they have a vendetta against. However these fantastic traits ultimately don't get in the way of the series being more of a personal dramedy. Most of the plots, however, are about navigating work relationships, dealing with toxic family members, keeping a struggling start-up company afloat, managing trauma, and fending off jilted exes. The main focus is on Blitzo, who's far more concerned with very human issues of insecurity, social levels and relationship drama than anything related to his non-human status
- Stolas, God of Sympathetic Adulterers (Hall of Tainted Love)-Less so in the pilot, but over the series this has been applicable. Stolas brazenly cheats on his wife in an Unequal Pairing with Blitzo, and while the show doesn't brush aside the thorny social backlash or difficult relationship with Blitzo, he's also written as relatively sympathetic; Stolas is stuck in a loveless, abusive marriage with a Hate Sink and shares a trait with Blitzo; I Just Want to Be Loved. He and his dynamic paints a flawed, but pitiable owl man
- Asmodeus, Patron Demon Of Lust (Hall of Demons)-Asmodeus in Helluva Boss is part of the Sins, which follow the classical demonology of certain demons representing certain deadly sins. He's the interpretation of the demon Asmodeus, part of the Demon Lords And Arch Devils and patron of the Ars Goetia. He has the specific type of multi-heads from the Ars Goetia (albeit prettier), encourages carnal desire and lust, and as how the demon Asmodeus is seen as a Noble Demon in Jewish folklore, Asmodeus is quite Affably Evil with a romantic side (albeit he tried to keep it on the downlow because of PR)
- On hold till more material comes out (may or may not consider them viable by then)
- Not concrete and liable to change/needs more appearance: Lucifer, Adam and/or Lute, Sera, Carmilla Carmine (Satan Is Good, Population Control, Broken-System Dogmatist, Armed Legs), Octavia, Mammon, Fizzaroli (Troubled Teen or Parental Sexuality Squick, Mammon, Take This Job and Shove It)
- Will just wait until later before considering a trope: Lilith, Verosika, Crimson, Stella and Andrealphus
Cherri Bomb might count depending on how things go
- Warhammer 40000 ideas on hold until after the overhaul (Xenos)
- Szarekh the Silent King, God of Exiles: the current holder Riven also has Wrecked Weapon, plus I can't find The Exile in her character page or the trope. So I think she can share. Szarekh was the Necrontyr who made a Deal with the Devil with the Deciever and the C'Tan to give his sickly species metal bodies. To say this backfired is an understatement. After the war in heaven he had his kind go into stasis to reclaim the galaxy one day, and then let himself stay awake and leave the galaxy in self-imposed exile and punishment; The Slow Path for him. He only returned because of the Tyranid threat
- Orikan the Deciever, God of Temporal Desynchronization (Hall of Time Manipulation)-the Jerkass Seer of the Necrontyr, he's a diviner known for his very accurate prophecies and he has a degree of vanity about it. He wields the Staff of Tomorrow, which is a fraction of a second ahead of normal spacetime to strike his enemies before they've even thought to move. These kind of powers let him play Karma Houdini
- The Genestealers, Unholy Breeding Cult Practioners: as the Tyranids have no allies/concept of such the Genestealers have to act as thralls to prepare worlds. They encourage more Genestealer Cults through breeding and spreading their genes to get populaces under their thrall. This is done to undermine potential prey worlds with their interbreeding
- Holy Terra, Divine Renamed Earth: a restoration of an old profile
- Other on hold until I refamiliarize myself with them
- Scott Calvin, God of Taking The Role Of Santa Claus (need to watch it again)
- Warp Darkmatter, God of Villainy For A Better Paycheck (Hall of Motivations For Evil)-Buzz's Evil Former Friend (if an Evil All Along) had served as The Mole of the academy, and believes that Evil Feels Good. However the reason he chooses evil is because he considers villainy more profitable than good, and as a hired gun often lives to that. Need to watch this series again, same with below
- NOS-4-A2, God of Undead Robots (Hall of Unliving Beings)-NOS-4-A2 is a Killer Robot specifically modeled off a vampire, and he lives up to it. He drains electricity from robots like a vampire drains blood, he has hypnotic traits like a vampire and his name is clearly leet speak for Nosferatu
- Toji Suzuhara, God of Tragedy-Induced Loss Of Humor (House of Derivatives)-in a Dysfunction Junction cast, Toji is the Only Sane Man and the comedian of the group who's working for a Healthcare Motivation. Then Evangelion being Evangelion hits as the stress and trauma of being an Eva pilot has him lose this humor and become subdued and anxious. Then he gets crippled piloting the Eva 03. Need to catch up and wait until the NGE grand rework, same with below
- Ryoji Kaji, God of Alleged Casanovas (Hall of Persons of Desire)-Kaji is a Double Agent and Handsome Lech who used to have a personal relationship with Misato. He's considered a womanizing Hunk and while the latter is true, the flirtatious act is more him Obfuscating Stupidity. He isn't that into romance and still holds a torch for Misato, and there's no concrete proof he actually Really Gets Around

Jumba Jookiba
Dr. Jumba Jookiba, God of TBA (Idiot Scientist — but don't you dare call him that; Evil Genius — he prefers being called that instead; Uncle Jumba)
- Lesser God
- Symbol: His spaceship or the experiment pods
- Alignment: Claims to be evil (with his behavior leaning towards Chaotic Evil), but in actuality is True Neutral if not almost Neutral Good (though with a slant towards chaotic).
- Porfolio: Mad Scientist, Skilled in Biogenetics and Engineering, smart yet can fight back and take a beating, Loves Doing Evil, but isn't Really All That Evil, Becomes Good Overall, Honorary Uncle (to Lilo), You Are Number 6 (to his experiments—he's not one for names), Evil Genius
- Domains: Mad Science, Genetics, Space, Family
- Allies: Lilo Pelekai, his genetic experiments (including the ascended Stitch/Experiment 626, Sparky/Experiment 221, Reuben/Experiment 625, and Angel/Experiment 624),
- Enemies: Dr. Jacques von Hämsterviel (his former partner)
- Observed by: The Men in Black
- Jumba is the creator of over six hundred genetic experiments, the first 625 of which he made with the funding of Dr. Hämsterviel before the gerbil finked on him. Arrested alongside Experiment 626 and sentenced to prison, he was offered a chance at freedom when 626 escaped to a planet called "Ee-arth". He and Agent Pleakley (who was forced to keep an eye on Jumba) failed to capture 626, who was adopted as "Stitch", and were exiled to the planet they were on. However, they ended up helping Stitch rescue his adopter Lilo from Gantu. After Stitch was allowed to stay on Earth, Jumba and Pleakley were taken in by Lilo and her sister Nani to live with them as part of their 'ohana. Jumba would then assist Lilo and Stitch in getting his experiments back and help them find a new purpose to use their abilities for good. Through this, he eventually got back access to his lab, but he later gave it up to stay with his family on Earth.
- This begs the question: Why was Jumba made the "Evil Genius" God when he's clearly good now? One, he is still one of the greatest reality-bending minds this side of the galaxy. Two, his experiments (the first 626 of which are all good now) were still made to do evil, and at least two of his most recent experiments (namely 627 and Leroy) are still evil. Three, even though he was removed from the Evil Genius Organization, no one else has taken the title of being the Evil Genius God, and he refuses to go by anything else. The House of Villains was going to reject him for being good, but Jumba threatened to sic Stitch on them and destroy the House, saying that 626 still has his old programming embedded in him. (Stitch may not be evil, but the powerful and mischievous alien would've tried to help his creator maintain an evil illusion like when they tried to trick the head of E.G.O.) Thus, the House of Villains' gods relented and gave Jumba the title, though they treat it as an honorary one.
- As with his experiments, Jumba is under the watch of the Men in Black.
Nocturne
Nocturne, God of TBA (The Eternal Nightmare, Noc)
- Intermediate God
- Symbol: His blades crossed together.
- Alignment: Chaotic Evil
- Portfolio: Enemy to All Living Things, Dark Is Evil, Glowing Eyes of Doom, Eldritch Abomination, Blade Below the Shoulder, Lightning Bruiser, The Power of Hate, Omnicidal Maniac, And I Must Scream, Nightmare Fuel, Paranoia Fuel.
- Domains: DARKNESS, Omnicide, Hate, Nightmares.
- Followers: Night Terror(Soulcalibur).
- Allies: Fiddlesticks, Amatsu-Mikaboshi.
- Rivals: Bane and Balanar
- Enemies: Virtually everyone
- One day in the field of the Ancients, Kardel Sharpeye and Clinkz were practicing fighting while all of a sudden they no longer had vision of each other. They thought that Balanar was screwing around hunting when all of a sudden while Kardel was laughing the same old laugh, he got insta-killed by a dark figure. When the darkness cleared Clinkz had seen the enemy and Nocturne set his sights on Clinkz. The battle was interrupted when the pantheon announced the Eternal Nightmare's arrival. Soon, all will become dark and no one will survive.
- His one ally before joining the pantheon, Fiddlesticks, waited patiently and was glad to see his ally. Soon they need one more to join them and the fear trio will be complete....
Malzahar
Malzahar, God Of Accepting The Foretold Future (The Prophet of The Void)
- Adopted from TPPR 10
- Lesser God
- Symbol: One of his Voidlings
- Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
- Portfolio: Humanoid Abomination, Becoming Aware After Gazing Into The Void, Carrying Out The Void's Will, Prophet of the Cult of The Void, The Minion Master, Power Floats, Gaining His Powers from The Void
- Domains: Seers, Madness, Fate, Minions
- Enemies: The Ancestor
- Wary About: Exdeath
- Malzahar was originally a seer born in Shurima, being granted the power of prophecy. He originally used his gift to help people to help himself, but years of visions caused him to become aware on how humans were usually stuck in a cycle of pain to the point that he wanted to distance himself from everyone, which caused him to become even more aware of the miseries of the world. Eventually his visions lead him to discover the Void, where he finally received a vision of what he needed: for him to bring forth oblivion to end all pain. Thus he became a herald of the Void, trying to bring forth the calling of nothingness.
- Since he has submitted his will to The Void, it has granted him the power to manipulate the energy from it. One of his notable abilities is the ability to call upon small creatures called Voidlings to assist him in battle. While just one Voidling isn't that powerful and they will die after a while, he can call upon multiple of them at once.
- Another of his abilities allows him to transfer the visions he has to another to mentally assault them, which can transfer to anyone near them if they were to die. However, to an outsider's respective the effect is bit strange, so most people opt to call it space AIDS.
- Even in the mortal realm, his quest as the Prophet of the Void has been with some success. He has many followers who would sacrifice themselves for the sake of his word, and even those who don't believe in him are afraid of the Void and would bring him sacrifices ust to be safe.
- Is sort of wary about Exdeath and the nature of his Void. Mainly because he is not sure if his prophecies and the true nature of The Void are wrong, or if Exdeath is the one in the wrong. He does say that trying to control The Void is not a good idea.
- One day when looking around the Pantheon, he encountered a temple with a particular marking◊ which resembles the mark of The Void. On it he saw a prophecy that it would be connected to The Void and started preparing for the day something would happen. In truth, he merely stumbled upon the temple of Hastur, who sort of wants to see what he will do with his assumptions.
- He does admit that not all prophecies can be true, as he has been wrong in the past regarding his prophecies (his dagger is a proof of that). He is just very certain this one vision is what he has upmost trust on.
- The Ancestor is rather annoyed by him, as he had his fair share of encounters with a prophet who eventually went insane due of Ancestor's plans.
- Is trying to convert Kyurem into believing his visions, believing that they would realize what he was talking about. Currently the Boundary Pokémon isn't that impressed, but might be thinking about it depending on how things turn out.
- "The land may melt, the sea may swell, the sky may fall... but they will come."
Hugh Neutron
Hubert Beaumont "Hugh" Neutron, God of TBA (Donut Boy)
- Noted: Adopted from Megami Tensei. Needs permission and a trope to reinstate it
- Quasideity
- Symbol: Wooden Ducks
- Theme Song: Donut Boy Theme Song
- Alignment: Stupid Good though can reach Chaotic Stupid levels if he goes in over his head.
- Portfolio: Bumbling Dad, The Ditz, Cloudcuckoolander, Manchild, Good Parents, Adults Are Useless, Loves Pie, Donuts, and Taco Shack
- Domains: Ducks, Pie, Parenting, Donuts
- Herald: Judith “Judy” Neutron (his wife)
- Allies: Jimmy Neutron, Dexter, Pinkie Pie, Haruto Soma/Kamen Rider Wizard, Clancy Wiggum, Noriaki Kakyoin, Donald Duck, Daffy Duck, Sojiro Sakura, Yugi Muto
- Enemies: Dio Brando, Mr. Krabs, Seto Kaiba, Lord Fuse
- Opposed by: Walder Frey
- Somehow, for some reason, Hugh Neutron managed to ascend to the Pantheon. Knocking on his son’s doorstep, Jimmy was gobsmacked to see his father come in and say he was offered a place in the Pantheon. Not that he was unhappy to see him, it’s just... why?Hugh: What’s poppin there, Jimbo! Just dropped by say a good old hello! Got a letter saying that I was invited to the TV Tropes whatzamajingit and I could not wait to come see you again. I thought this place was a summer camp like when I was a boy your age then I saw some goblin-looking fellas fight people with spiky hair. Don’t worry, I won’t bother your inventing time but I’ll drop by every once in awhile for some good old father-son bonding. You can drop into my temple anytime if you need me, son! Excuse me but I saw this really great duck pond and I can wait to take some photos of them while I eat some pie!
- Ascended to being not particularly the brightest when it comes to resolving a problem. Despite being a Nice Guy at heart, Hugh more or less starts the problem in the first place or makes it even more of a hassle to deal with. Moments include him dumping radiation in the ocean, not noticing his son had his head exchanged with a hamster, making someone give birth over and over again, etcetera. Most solutions that involved him are cracked up by his son, not himself.
- He spends a good chunk of his time looking for ducks to take pictures of. Thinks his presence in the Pantheon is just an extended vacation from his job as a car salesman, unaware this “vacation” is permanent for the foreseeable future. Was initially freak out to see anthropomorphic ducks like Donald and Daffy but came to befriend them once he spoke of his loves for ducks, fueling their egos.
- Hugh is quite a Manchild, something that contrast surprisingly with his genius son. So Hugh enjoys doing fun things with people like Pinkie Pie who’s party are just up his alley.
- One time for a film, he assumed the Secret Identity of an underwear-clad heroic cop named Donut Boy, who fights crime while carrying a box of donuts. While the definition of ineffectual, Hugh made a friend with a person who’s effective at his job which was Haruto Soma. Haruto was amazed by such a hero existing and has pledged to help Hugh whenever he can. Hugh was just amazed that Japanese mayo tasted so good on donuts.
- Made friends with Officer Clancy Wiggums over their liking for donuts. Wiggums just hangs out with Hugh when there are crimes that need stopping are happening.
- Didn’t know why Noriaki Kakyoin was called a donut when the guy clearly isn’t or doesn’t care for them that much. Then Hugh learned of the real reason why he was called that thanks to a certain vampire punching a hole through him. He was willing to go don the Donut Boy persona to face Dio but was stopped as Kakyoin knew he wouldn’t even make it to the front door.
- Made friends with fellow Team Dad, Sojiro Sakura. While Sojiro has his misgivings about Hugh, thinking that he was just an idiot. He lets the guy hang out in his shop regardless, having grown fond of the man and his strange tales involving his son.Hugh: Now let me talk about the time when Jimbo’s friend, Carl got pregnant with an alien parasite. I remember the time when Judy got pregnant with my boy and the doctor thought that Jimbo was a coconut! Turns out it was his head but I was ecstatic for a few seconds, not that I’m unhappy with how my boy turned out of course. Both of our kids being super smart and all, you could understand, eh Sojiro?Sojiro: Futaba’s... adopted.Hugh: Really? I had an adopted kid once too but Jimmy sent him to the moon. Typical brotherly quarrels and all that. Don’t give that face because this story has a happy ending! You see...
- Is shockingly natural at playing Duel Monsters, as Hugh managed to defeat his hyperintelligent son on his first go, sending his monsters into the Shadow Realm◊. Yugi Muto made a friend with Hugh, seeing him as a great challenger to battle with. Apparently managed to piss of Seto Kaiba, as Kaiba’s Signature Mon, Blue Eyes White Dragon was used by Hugh without permission. Then Kaiba barely managed to score a victory over Hugh the next time. Despite winning, Kaiba was shocked at the entire ordeal.Kaiba: How?! How can such a moron can think of strategies with the Blue Eyes Shining Dragon that even I couldn’t create?!Hugh: Sorry young man but As the spiky hair kiddo said, you have to believe in the heart of the cards to win. And I declare that next time you’ll be sent to the Shadow Realm yourself, bucko. Not really but you know what I’m getting at, hmm?
- While he may seem like he doesn’t know much, Hugh likes to drop in some really horrible reality checks on people whenever it calls for it. Some of the things he tells are so harsh, it changes perspective on some things people originally didn’t mind. The worst thing about all of it is that Hugh is likely right about most of them. Now ain’t that quackin’ crazy?!
- Was dragged to eat at the Krusty Krab one time but Hugh would prefer to eat tacos instead of giving Krabby Patties a chance. Due to moaning and complaining loudly in the establishment and not even ordering, Krabs went and kicked Hugh out for loitering. If Hugh actually tasted the food, his tune would have surely changed.
- Had one of his precious wooden ducks stolen by one of Fuse’s minions who were conducting a minor object raid across the Pantheon. Hugh was outraged by the theft and asked his son to help track Planet Fuse down to get back that duck. Unknown to them however, Fusion Hugh Neutron is currently one of the more powerful Fusions, being a horrific combination of a giant and a duck who shoots donuts as bullets and exploding pie.
- No, he did not shoot his wife then had to fight an aggressive pizza. Whatever bizarre universe that came from, he doesn’t want anything to do with it.
- Walder Frey was almost freaking out upon hearing Hugh’s favorite meal, thinking of another meat pie he was unfortunately given before being assassinated. Hugh isn’t aware of this, as his domain being of the sweet variant of pie. Frey still isn’t going anywhere near Hugh thanks to his assumptions.
