- The Nanny: After breaking up with her boyfriend and losing her job at a bridal suite (her boyfriend owned the bridal suite), Pamela Finklestein becomes a door-to-door cosmetics salesgirl, until one day, she convinces widower British Broadway producer Shane Donovan into hiring her as the new nanny for his three children Supergirl, Ben Harvey, and Mia Ross. Shane's butler, a holographic Professor Moriarty, takes an immediate liking to Pam, but Shane's longtime business partner, Julie Rayburn, sees her as an obstacle to winning Shane's affections, even though he never regards her as anything more than a business partner.

- The Noddy Shop: Frank Rittenhauer runs a magical toystore inhabited by Jean Grey, Mr. Owl, Junior Gorg, Loonette, Auntie Macassar and Teddy. He's often visited by his grandkids Charles and Gwendolyn Killerby, as well as Gwendolyn's friend Christopher Dickie. His sister, Mrs. White, runs a hat shop.
- No Ordinary Family: Vic Mackey, his wife Rita Bennett, and their children (one of whom is young Jim Kirk) win the Super Power Lottery.
- D'Anna and Six are up to no good. As is Reverend Camden.
- Normal (2003) (HBO Made-for-TV Movie): Carmine Falcone tells his wife Constance that he's going to transition into being female. Constance has trouble with it, as does their son Ginger; their daughter Juliette and Carmine's boss Mr. Krabs are more understanding.

- One Piece (2023): The story once again tells of Juan Ruiz and his journey to become the King of the Pirates by assembling a crew called the Straw Hat Pirates and journeying to the Grand Line to find the One Piece — a mysterious treasure belonging to the notorious pirate, Tom Griffin. After rescuing and recruiting Pegasus Seiya as the first member of the Straw Hats, they set off on a journey to the Grand Line. They soon join forces with Cindy Berman, a thief and navigator with a dream to draw charts on the Grand Line; AJ Delajae , a marksman and liar with a dream of becoming a brave warrior; and Billy, a chef with a dream to find the mythical All Blue. Now all Juan has to do is convince his would-be new friends to take a gamble on their dreams... and deal with the ocean of enemy pirates and marines between them and their goals.

Max Bialystock is their producer, Holly Flax is Lucky's love interest, Sue Sylvester is Lucky's former stunt double, Liz Lemon is a celebrity podcaster and Feyd-Rautha is a famous resident.
- On the Buses: Smiler is the Inspector at the local bus depot. His nemesis is a lazy bus driver who lives at home with his mother, Mrs. Lea, and sister, Aunt Sal.
- On the House: A building site is run by foreman Mr. Whitemonk, shop steward Monsieur Alfonse, and builders Morgus, Arthur Thomas, Charlie Moffitt, Rod Blake, SuperTed, and Timmy Lea.
- Open All Hours: Norman Stanley Fletcher runs a corner shop, assisted by his nephew Del Boy.
- Orphan Black: She-Hulk, a Street Smart English orphan fostered in Canada, is heading home when she witnesses a woman throw herself in front of a train. Reeling as the woman looked exactly like her, She-Hulk takes advantage of the resulting panic and takes the woman's discarded handbag. Examining the purse's contents, Sarah identifies the woman as Ghost due to their eerie resemblance, decides to assume her identity in order to rob her home and clean out her huge savings account with her foster brother, U.S. Ex Delivery Guy. Not long into her plot, however, She-Hulk suddenly finds herself in too deep. Not only was the late Ghost a troubled police detective with a boyfriend and plenty of secrets, but She-Hulk soon uncovers a huge conspiracy that changes everything: she is one in a series of clones living across the world. Meeting with two of her "genetic identicals", soccer mom Tatiana and biology student Zeppelin Dyer, She-Hulk learns that she and her clones are being killed off — turning what looked like an easy con into an investigation to unravel top-secret conspiracies.
- Our Friends in the North: The Ninth Doctor, James Bond, Frank D'Amico and Judy Molloy go through thirty years of political and social changes in Britain. Nine's dad is Maester Aemon, Brian Lane is a dodgy businessman, Argus Filch is a kindly Labour MP and Alex DeLarge is a Soho porn baron.
- Our Flag Means Death: Murray Hewitt abandons a privileged life to take a stab at becoming a pirate captain, commanding a crew that includes Spud Murphy, Hizdahr zo Loraq, Hodor, Elton John, Lindsey, Alan Lawford and Elfo. Along the way, they meet naval captain Bill Tanner, feared pirate Patty Tolan, aristocratic couple Louise Belcher and Maury the Hormone Monster plus an out-of-work Lego Batman, while running afoul of dread captain Viago and his first mate Mackenzie Bock.

- Over the Top: Dr. Frank N Furter is an out-of-work actor who goes to work at a hotel. There he meets his ex-wife Little Bo Peep as well as the Mayor of Whoville.

- The Pacific: Tim Murphy, Simon, King Ahkmenrah, and others go through hell in World War II.
- Pair of Kings: Oliver Oken and Marcus Little are twin brothers who are brought to a faraway island by Kincaid, where they discover they are kings. Gigi Silveri is Kincaid's daughter, and Chuck Chamber is their vengeful cousin. Eventually Oliver and Marcus discover they are triplets with Luther Waffles.
- Pam & Tommy: Cinderella and The Winter Soldier create a sex tape that leaks onto the internet and becomes the stuff of legends.
- Parenthood: Mr. Incredible is a loud-mouthed patriarch; his daughter is Lorelei Gilmore and his son is Nate Fisher.
- Parker Lewis Can't Lose: Jonas Quinn is the ever-scheming high school student who's friends with Brett Camber, Michael Lacey, and Darth Vader. Jonas is the arch-nemesis of Principal Didi Pickles as well as his sister Sara Anderson. Jonas and Sara's parents are Lampy and Frosty Kimelman (later Dr. Stephanie Woods).
- Parks and Recreation: Hillary Clinton works in the parks department under Burt Shlubb and alongside Raaaaaaaandy! She's determined to fix up a pit near Karen Filipelli's house. Klee appears in one episode.
- Partners: Marc is the male "Will & Grace" with Prof. Epps, but despite dating Superman he's rather jealous of Epps' fiancee.
- Partners in Crime (or Fifty/Fifty, outside North America): Jennifer Marlowe and Wonder Woman used to be married to the same private eye; they fight crime after he's murdered,inherit his agency and find his killer. Jacques Trenault, Annie MacDuggan-Paradis' mother and Joey Dinardo help out.
- Party of Five: Dr. Jack Shepard becomes the defacto parent of his siblings, who include Sydney Prescott, Gwen Stacy, and Chad Decker, who is dating Melinda Gordon after their parents die, which commences a very long Trauma Conga Line. Archie Bunker is their grandfather.
- The Path (Hulu): Jesse Pinkman and his wife Maggie Hart dedicate their lives to a Path of Inspiration (which per Word of God is absolutely not based on the Church of Happyology) with interim leader (TV) Will Graham while Bowman, having founded the faith, now supposedly writing the final steps to salvation, is actually dying in Peru. Meanwhile, Creb, evolved to a Cro-Magnon, is still a wise and insightful devotee, dedicated to helping others in distress: and Egeria plans to use Jas Mitra in her skulduggery.
- Peacemaker (2022): Agent Burns is recruited into a mission to stop a secret alien invasion. His team includes Taystee Jefferson (secretly the daughter of Annalise Keating), Dr. Eli Mays, Nurse Blackwell and Dutch, later joined by the psychotic killer HG Wells. Molly Chen and Hal Cooper investigate Burns' activities, the T-1000 is Burns' abusive white supremacist father and Captain Rex is Burns' beloved pet.
- Peaky Blinders: Jonathan Crane leads a gang with his brothers Sebastian Moran, Frank, (and Tyler post Season 4). Their aunt Narcissa Malfoy is the Treasurer of the gang while Crane is attracted to Mia, and Emilia Ricoletti after Mia's death). Dr Alan Grant eventually becomes Crane's Arch-Enemy. Crane's aided by Bane after Season 2, and Littlefinger after Season 4. Vicky Budd, Crane's sister, later joins the gang after it diversifies into a legitimate business stronghold.
- Penny Dreadful: James Bond and Vesper Lynd team up with a modern day high school Iago for The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen-era supernatural shenanigans.
- Pennyworth: Not only does Bruce Wayne/Batman's future butler sleep with Her Majesty the Queen, he also did with Lady Diana Spencer, Princess of Wales. Bruce's aunt is actually from Iceland, and Alfred has a talk with General DeSaad.
- Percy Jackson and the Olympians (2023): Young Adam Reed is unexpectedly thrust into a world of gods and monsters when he is revealed to be the demigod son of Gustav Graves and the accused thief that stole the Master Bolt that the sky god Charon wields. Now the young demigod must lead a quest with his two friends across America to prevent a war among the Olympian gods and restore order between his father and uncle.
- Perry Mason: Ironside never loses a case.
- Person of Interest: Ben Linus built a Precog machine (or for latecomers, an early version of Project Insight). He hires Edmond Dantès to help him. Together, they fight crime. They later encounter dirty cop Vel Savage.
- The Persuaders!: James Bond and Joe/Josephine are crime-fighting playboys.
- The Player: Blade and his associates are bored betting on sports so they're betting on crime.
- Please Sir!: Fireman Sam is a form teacher for an unruly class of students including Mrs. Edelman, Herr von Trap, Ross Baxter, Muriel Pawcett, Batty, and Freddie Smith. Other faculty members at the school include headmaster Richard Greatham, senior mistress Mrs. Richards, teachers Jim Sloan and Uncle Titus, and caretaker Corky Turnbull. Sam later gets married to Maggie Redman.
- Poirot: Inspector Japp, now a private detective, solves crimes using his "little grey cells". - Cat Among the Pigeons: Japp investigates a series of affairs at a girls' boarding school headed by Queen Adelaide, with the assistance of Qyburn. The school's faculty includes Cassandra Pentaghast, while Ignis Scientia is the school gardener who's more than meets the eye. Cho Chang somehow transfers to this school as well.
- Elephants Can Remember: Madam Hooch is asked by a friend of hers, Tuppence Beresford, to ask her goddaughter Sue Storm if her father shot her mother first or if it was the other way around, just as Sue is engaged to Hamza Bey. Meanwhile, Japp investigates the murder of Ser Jorah Mormont's father, with him and his secretary Queen Anne as the main persons of interest. It later turns out that these ostensibly separate cases were connected all along.
- Police Squad!: Dr. Rumack is a police detective. Guest stars get killed in each episode, including Ben Cartwright, Carol Brady and Captain Kirk.
- Is it any wonder Johnny the Shoeshine Boy knows everything? He's been alive since before the Declaration of Independence was signed.
- Political Animals: Ripley is an ex-president's ex-wife running for office. Said ex-president is Gaius Julius Caesar.

- "Chain of Command" (Parts I and II): Starfleet Captain Vilos Cohaagen gets assigned as the new Enterprise captain, so Professor X is assigned to undertake a covert mission. But during the mission, he gets captured and is ultimately tortured by Cardassian interrogator Ra's Al Ghul.
- "Ship in a Bottle": Niles the butler is back, and he wants H.M. Murdock to help him break free from the holodeck.
- "The Pegasus": Xanatos is called upon by his former captain, now Admiral John Locke to salvage a top-secret cloaking device.
- "Interface": Kunta Kinte defies Professor X's orders in order to save his mother, Sarabi.
- "Homeward": Weasel's adoptive brother Eddie Valentine seeks help from the Enterprise crew in saving an alien civilization from planetary destruction.
- Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Hawk is commander of a space station with his crew including Father Mulcahy, Valerie Desmond, David Hunter (who previously worked on Xavier's ship), Doran Martell, and Pamela Vorhees. General Skarr is a bartender, and I.M. Weasel and Sarah Bannerman later join the crew. Tom Robinson is Hawk's father.
- "Doctor Bashir, I Presume?": Johnny Cab wants to make a holoprogram based upon Doran, but it's revealed that Doran's father, Babu Bhatt, had given him genetic enhancements as a child, which puts his Starfleet career in danger.
- Star Trek: Voyager: Red Reznikov and Raoul Mendoza are stranded on the far side of the galaxy and have to work together with a blended crew made up of Principal Franklin, Angela Rooker, Coach Cutlip, Kevin Corrigan, Roger Merman, Chow-Ping Yen, and Agent L, the last of whom leaves soon after Tara Cole arrives.
- "Caretaker": Red Reznikov destroys an alien array so that Chuck Cunningham can't get his hands on its advanced technology.
- "Scorpion": Confronting a new, dangerous alien species, Red Reznikov ponders the possibility of striking some of deal with the Borg after meeting with the holographic Sallah.
- "Year Of Hell": Red Forman tries to put his foot up the space-time continuum's ass, but not if Red Reznikov has anything to say about that.

- Stargate SG-1: MacGyver leads a team of scientists and military explorers, including military scientist Dr Helen Magnus, alien Magneto, and an archaeologist, where no man has gone before. His immediate boss coached the Racine Peaches women's baseball team, and the base doctor is MOM.
- Season 9: John Crichton and Aeryn Sun join the team of explorers, while Magneto is replaced by Director Tom Gage, and Romy becomes the base's doctor.

- Step by Step: Bobby Ewing and Chrissy Snow get married and unite their families.
- Steptoe and Son: Paul McCartney's Grandfather and Sergeant Bung are a father and son who work as rag-and-bone men.
- The Strain (TV series): CDC doctors Peter Russo, Elise Martin, and Mikey Walsh investigate when the vampire Kurrgan kills and turns a plane full of passengers (including Teri Bauer). Miguel Escobar is then hired by Bruce Ismay to transport Kurrgan into Manhattan in exchange for clearing the criminal record of his brother Weevil. Argus Filch realizes what's going on and teams up with Russo, Martin, and Jeeves Tremor to defeat Kurrgan and his minions.
- Stranger Things: Richie Tozier, Gavroche, Simba and (in Season 2) Lizzie are dealing with an Eldritch Abomination while head of police Reed Akley discovers a goverment conspiracy while trying to find Veronica Sawyer's son, Charlie Brown.
- The Streets of San Francisco: Father Barry and Gordon Gekko are police detectives on that city by the Bay (the latter was replaced by Captain Apollo). They fight crime.
- The Sunny Side Up Show: Hatty Hamster takes part in a morning live show for preschoolers full of viewer-submitted content and educational themes. Some of Hatty's many friends include Rexy, Patty, and Meekah.
- On an interesting note, Hatty was played by Curtis E. Owl several times.
- The Sunset Limited: TV movie adaptation of a play by Cormac McCarthy wherein reformed murderer Jules saves Agent K from throwing himself in front of the title train and tries to theologically argue him away from suicide.
- Supah Ninjas: Hiro Hamada is trained by Hikaru Sulu in the art of Ninjutsu.
- Supernatural: Alec and Dean fight monsters while they look for their dad, The Comedian. The woman who hired him, Septa Unella, is deeply resentful of her ex-husband Rupert's infidelity; since AFC Richmond is the one thing that Rupert truly loved, she's hoping that David's coaching will cause the team to tank just so she can spite him. Despite this, David is undaunted by his lack of experience, and he sets about bringing his unique style of coaching to the club and works to win over everyone he comes across.

- This Is Us: Rapunzel and Peter Petrelli are expecting triplets! Two of them grow up to become Ima Wiggles and Oliver Queen (not that one).note They adopt a boy who becomes Gordon Walker.
- Three's Company: Clifford the Big Red Dog pretends he's gay so that he can live with two girls (including dumb blonde Carol Lambert) without rousing the suspicions of his landlords, stick-in-the mud Mr. McCleery and his sex-starved wife Frances Temple. Carol later moves out and is replaced, first by klutzy farm girl Jamie Ewing Barnes, then by intelligent nurse Della Churchill. - Threshold: Aliens are attempting to take over the planet, so Dillon and Bobby Cobb enlist Ingrid Cortez to come up with a plan to counter them. Her plan requires enlisting the help of Data, Tyrion Lannister, and Milt.
- The Terror: James Moriarty, Marcus Brutus, and Mance Rayder struggle to survive a real-life doomed Arctic Expedition, as Vasily Ignatenko ferments discontent and mutiny amongst their crews.
- The Tick (2016): In a World… where superheroes have been a thing since a huge space object plunged into the Tunguska River Basin back in 1908 during what became known as "the Dawn of the Age of Superheroes", mild-mannered (if mentally troubled) accountant Straight Wallace is following what he believes is the secret trail of Rorschach, an infamous super-villain many believe was already killed years ago by Eli Loker , the first superhero. Wallace comes to the conclusion that Rorschach is running The City from underground. However, as he tries to blow the lid off the conspiracy, things take a turn for the bizarre when he inadvertently sparks the interest of a big, blue, nigh-invulnerable, shamelessly hammy and rather enigmatic superhero who calls himself Darth Maul. But can Wallace and Darth Maul really save The City from its own seedy underbelly? Or are the two of them (especially Wallace) truly in over their heads?

- Top Gear (UK): British Marv joins two friends on a series of automotive-themed adventures...until he gets fired after punching a producer. Then he's replaced by Joey Tribbiani and his five friends.
- In the American version, Needles Nelson and his two friends go on automotive-themed adventures.
- Top of the Lake: Peggy investigates the disappearance of a pregnant twelve-year-old in the creepy little town ruled by her drug-dealer father. Also starring Faramir and a slightly unhinged Elastigirl.

- Tracker (2001): Duncan Macleod tracks down alien criminals including Nick Knight. Constable Turnbull is Mel's friend who's a detective and Detective Huey appears in an episode.
- The Train Now Standing...: Sergeant Major Snudge is the station master of a sleepy branch line station, who has to deal with Mr. Little for a porter and Charles Vaughan and Frank Haskins for area managers. Visitors to Snudge's station include Mrs. Fox, Nobby, Ernie Trigg, and Arnold Swain.
- Training Day: Hudson is a bad influence to his young partner.
- Transparent (Amazon): Hilarity Ensues when an irresponsible patriarch comes out as transgender and alters her Big, Screwed-Up Family's dynamics, particularly her Adult Children.
- Treme: Dr. Alexx and Sulley are among many people in The Big Easy dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
- Trial & Error: The Trinity Killer probably didn't murder his wife but bizarre behavior like rollerskating through her blood isn't helping his defense team.
- Trinkets: Negasonic Teenage Warhead is the perfect blend of awkward and shy that would lead nobody to expect she's a shoplifter. - Twisted Metal (2023): Falcon/Captain America III, an amnesiac milkman in a heavily armed car who is offered a chance at a better life in his post-apocalyptic world by driving a package across the wasteland. Along the way, he must contend with a legion of enemies in their own deadly hotrods - including the notorious killer A Wrestler/George Oscar "G.O.B." Bluth II.

- Ugly Betty: Carmen Lowell is a sweet but dowdy young woman from Queens, who hopes to one day run her own magazine. Despite her lack of experience, and her appalling fashion sense, Carmen ends up hired at the high-end fashion magazine MODE, as the personal assistant to the editor-in-chief The Crow. However, it's quickly revealed that Carmen was only hired for her lack of sex appeal, so the infamous womanizer The Crow wouldn't be tempted to sleep with her. Unable to fire Carmen, The Crow instead tries to humiliate her so that she'll quit on her own terms, leaving him free to hire a personal assistant of his own choosing. Carmen ends up entangled in the office politics involving the entire The Crow family Angela Bower, Mystique and Councilman Rockwell along with facing off against Dr. Lee Cullen, who intends on taking over MODE magazine, no matter what it takes. Along the way, Carmen learns to stand up against those who judge her for her dowdy looks, and how to balance her career with her family, to whom she is incredibly close to.
- Uncle Buck (Race Lifted Series): (the other) Doug takes care of his brother's kids.
- Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Fifteen years after being abducted into a cult by Don Draper, Erin Hannon moves to New York with Sebastian as her roommate and works for Jenna Maroney.
- Underbelly: Let's start with the narrator, after Tess of Blue Heelers left to have a baby (actually worked into the show as she alludes to a child) she took a demotion, then was called up as a detective and eventually Task Force Purana. Her old boss used to be a judge, who here was on the take and accepted bribes. Her old boyfriend was one of the detectives on the Silk/Miller murders. The girlfriend of one of the deceased police is an old colleague. A former Heeler became a hitman. The detective she worked with is now a mafia lawyer. The old sergeant she was at odds with also works for the mafia. To cut a very long story short both series are ripe for this with many of the actors being cop, crook and everything in between in one show or the other.
- Underground: Det. Stabler and his epic goatee is "conflicted" about this whole slavery thing.
- Unforgettable: Agent Samantha has a Photographic Memory.
- Up All Night: Kelly Bundy and GOB Bluth take care of the infant daughter of her boss, an average prostitute.
- Up Pompeii: Francis Bigger is a Roman slave in the time before the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius.
- The Upper Crusts: When Ernst Stavro Blofeld dies in a hunting accident, his son the Criminologist discovers that the family fortune has run out. To make ends meet, the Criminologist has to move into a council house with his wife, Mrs. Maudsley, and children, Romana II and Mr. Beasley.

- V (1983) : Man-Bat, with help from Darryl Revok and Victor Basta, forms a team of Earthlings to fight against man-eating aliens led by Miss Peacock. Freddy Krueger is one of the few good aliens in the series.
- V (2009): Inara says her people are of peace, always, but they really want to eat people.
- The Vampire Diaries: Boone is evil to his little brother. Mia is caught between Boone and his brother, and finds out that her Uncle Sark is actually her father.

- The Vicar of Dibley: Amanda Ripley is a female vicar and Honey Thacker is her verger. Members of the church council include Detective Sergeant Bob Pulver, Tom, Trigger, Papa Claus, Corporal Clotski, and Nana Speakman.
- Vice Principals: When Principal Venkman retires, long-time educator Kenny Powers is itching to take his place but his plans are disrupted by the arrival of Boyd Crowder.

- Waiting for God: Dr. Mason is a Grumpy Old Woman living in a retirement home who has an Odd Friendship with the eccentric Dr. McCannon. The home is run by the cost-cutting Chris Parsons, whose assistant Pippa Trench has a unrequited love for him. Another resident in the home is Dirty Old Man Ned.

- The Walking Dead: A guy who's in love with his best friend's wife fights "walkers" with one-half of a pair of vigilante brothers in post-apocalyptic Georgia (the state not the country).
- The Comedian is the leader of a violent gang of survivors who (if the series follows the books) avenges the deaths of his companions at the hands of the lovesick guy's friends by making sure a certain expectant father doesn't cheat death again. Trevor Phillips is his right hand man.
- Alternately Thomas Wayne bashes his wife Martha's friend's head like a watermelon.
- The Walking Dead: Dead City: Thomas and Martha Wayne venture into a derelict and zombie-infested Manhattan Island to save Martha's son from another man.
- Wanted: Dead or Alive: Virgil Hilts was a Bounty Hunter in the Old West.
- War of the Worlds (1988): Steven Farlow, Mercedes, Tripp Hansen, Poncho, and Dory Quimby fight off aliens. The second season introduces The Lone Man, his scientist Jean Grey and her assistant Otto as the leaders of a Time skipped new invasion.
- Warm Springs: HBO Made-for-TV Movie about President Gilderoy Lockhart and his wife, Miranda Hobbes, and the former's physical therapy sessions at the title health resort.
- Wayward Pines: Agent Jack Valentine (his (ex?)wife is Lady Jocelyn) allies with Sally Jupiter when he finds himself in Sheriff Lucious Lyons' quaint little town deep in the woods where everyone is being watched and no one can leave. Also trapped inside is Mallory Knox and Toni Bernette.
- Wednesday: Having been freshly expelled from public school, Tara Carpenter finds herself enrolled at Nevermore Academy, the alma-mater of her parents Elena Montero and Jesse Salander. There, she finally finds people as strange and offbeat as her... but also a dark, decades-old mystery in which the Salander family bloodline is deeply entangled.
- Welcome to Pooh Corner: Otis Campbell is a friendly bear who lives in the Hundred-Acre Wood with his friends Teddy Ruxpin, Grubby, Petrie, Nikolai Volkoff, Goofy, and Mrs. Pulaski.
- Weeds: Nemo wants to be a drug dealer, just like his mommy (who was almost Charlotte). Juni is also involved.
- The West Wing: President Captain Willard is elected to lead America, with his wife, Rizzo, and their daughters, including Peggy Olson. - A particularly jarring one: they have to pick a ranking member of the government to stay in the White House during the State of the Union, just in case. Who does the President pick to run the country if everyone is blown up? The Mayor of Sunnydale.
- During the last season, Bail Organa runs for president against Hawkeye Pierce.
- Westworld: Hannibal Lector is the head of a "grown-up theme park" where anything (and I mean anything, it's on HBO) is possible with androids like Cyclops, Condoleezza Rice, Xerxes, and The Queen of Mississippi.
- If Westworld was a videogame Liam McPoyle is the heroic sweet-hearted noob-Yang to a mysterious government agent's heartless obsession with 100% Completion, Videogame Cruelty Potential, and literally Unlockable Content -Yin amazing what decades of bitterness towards the Queen of Mississippi for something she had no control over ("Liam" fell in love with her only to discover she's reset after each "game") can do to a man. At least the agent is a really good guy when he's "offline".
- When Things Were Rotten: A send-up of Robin Hood that includes Hymie in that role, Siegfried as Alan-a-Dale, and King Roland as Friar Tuck.
- White Collar: The co-manager of the Carnivàle is responsible for Bryce Larkin, who's helping the FBI solve white-collar crimes while wearing a hat together with Stanford Blatch and looking for his girlfriend, Annabeth Chase. Then she died, and he somehow ended up dating Repo Woman Peyton Sawyer.
- Wings: Superman and Norman Osborn are two brothers who co-own an airline. Their friends and colleagues include Dorothy Sobel, K.C. Cunningham, Lufkin, Jack Cole, Adrian Monk, Big Barda, and Flo Healy.
- The Witcher (2019): Superman is a bounty hunter who hunts down monsters in a Medieval European Fantasy world and falls in love with the ladies.
- Wizards of Waverly Place: Coop and Hawkgirl settle down and have three kids: Mikayla, Ted's future son, and Diego. They're wizards. And in one episode, Starscream is a report card.

- You (2018): Dan Humphrey works in a bookstore where he met, and later stalks, a blonde Anna of Arendelle whose seeing a therapist Jesse. Later on, after heading out to L.A due to his ex Colby showing up to expose his crimes, he finds a new love in Nell. He goes to work in a grocery/bookstore to be closer to her, and where her brother J.D. likes to visit.
- A Young Doctor's Notebook: Harry Potter grows up to be Don Draper.
- Young & Hungry: Lilly Truscott is a strugging twentysomething chef who shares an apartment with roommate/best friend Elena of Avalor. Lilly is hired by young computer entrepreneur Trey, for whom she has a drunken one night stand with on the first day. She spends the rest of her tenure at her new job struggling to impress Trey and try to to let the fling complicate their professional relationship, all with Trey's often gossipy assistants Auntie Momma and Lloyd Lee causing havoc. Complicating matters further are Lilly's romance to Trey's friend Roxas and Trey's engagement to the snooty heiress Madalena. In one episode, Lilly also receives the unwanted attention of secretly lesbian magazine editor Sharpay Evans, who is writing a "30 Under 30" list featuring Trey. Sharpay's also one of the show's executive producers.

- Yuyu Hakusho 2023: Live-Action Takemichi Hanegaki, Business Suit Man, Live-Action Masa and Live-Action Ryoma Echizen are hired (conscripted) by Meishu Gakuen to bust some yokai ass, like Live-Action Shuji Hanma, brothers Ryo Urushibara and Hoji Sadojima among others.

- Z: The Beginning of Everything (Amazon): Based on a True Story, Wednesday is the troubled wife of equally troubled writer Alex.
- Zeke and Luther: Henry Huggins and Boz are best friends who skateboard. Their frenemy is Cookie and Henry's sister is Emily Hobbs.
