This is how vampires are represented? Unbelievable.

Comic Books

  • Deadpool (2022): Deadpool initially names the Carnage symbiote clone growing inside of him after Renesmee, since it was eating him from the inside out like Renesmee did to Bella. He later changes her name to Princess to avoid getting sued by Stephenie Meyer.
  • The Disney Ducks Comic Universe gave us Quacklight, in which Daisy and Brigitta write their own vampire novel in response to Donald and Scrooge mocking their love of a cheesy vampire movie and it ends up turning into a parody of the series. Highlights include the constantly appearing and disappearing "Brigittax" (aka Brigitta's attempts to add a Self-Insert that will marry the story's equivalent to Uncle Scrooge), the villains being Magica and Gladstone, who plot to steal the codes to Scrooge's vault so that Magica can become "the most powerful billionaire vampire witch in the world", and the vampires ultimately being cured due to a diet of fruit juice and vegetables. At the end, a literary agent overhears the girls reading the novel to Scrooge and Donald and predicts that the books (and resulting merchandise) will become highly popular, a jab at Twilight's real-life popularity.
