- The Airborne Aircraft Carrier for either "Great Five" or "Galaxy Robo" of the Maskmen is named "Turbo Ranger". A season later, and "Turboranger" became the new name of the newest team at the time, Kousoku Sentai Turboranger, in reference to the same ship.
- The abandoned "Five" motif of Maskman that remains with the name of their robot, "Great Five", and the Number 5 emblems on their sentai suits ended up being recycled by Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman in reference to the original Fivemen.

- The design of Ultimate Artificial Lifeform Homunculus from GoGo Sentai Boukenger is based on Galaxy Robo. Meanwhile, the Quester Jet Over's design is based on the Masky Fighter while the design of the Quester Jet Over Homunculus is based on Great Five.
- Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger from 2012 references Hikari Sentai Maskman on the first episode, when the 29-year-old sentai maniac Nobuo Akagi pined for a "Great Five" figure on the window display of a toy store.
