People start evacuating Mount Cape. Niña says at the rate the Realm of Darkness is spreading, it might take several days to reach the city. Bahamut said he was tired and flew to the mountains to sleep. Sekai says it is a pity because he wanted to use him to sink the darklings' ships. The timer has roughly 72 hours left and he hopes Lovisa can recover so she can perform the ritual and figure out how to beat the King of Darkness. Niña comments on him being carefree and he freezes time to look up her shirt, ranting that he is not. When he unfreezes time, Ranga approaches them and says she finally found them. She says she ran all the way here and the fireworks were beautiful. Niña says the fireworks came from Sekai, the Salvation Brave, amazing her.
Ranga comments that she will wait until Sekai passes out the Life Stone. Earlier, when he was unconscious, she tried to cut him open to take it, but his body kept healing before she could pull it out. Enraged, Sekai freezes time to strip and grope her. After putting her clothes back and unfreezing time, they and Fury eat at a restaurant. Ranga says she never had seafood before because this is the first time she left the mountain. Sekai asks Fury if there is any item that can recover MP so Lovisa can perform the ritual right away. Fury says she only knows of one. In Wonsey's Forest, 5 days away in the west, live 3 mage triplets who can brew an MP recovery potion. However, they will only give it to people who can prove themselves stronger than them. Ranga says that would take too long, but Sekai says he can get there in an instant. She thinks he is joking, but he vanishes before their eyes. However, he doesn't come back and Ranga thinks he ran away from her. Fury tells her to calm down and says he'll be back, though they wonder what is taking so long.
Sekai meets the triplets, who are dressed like stereotypical witches (one wears aqua blue and has aqua blue hair, one wears red and has red hair, and one wears yellow and is blonde) and even ride on broomsticks. They say they don't care about his mission to defeat the King of Darkness and will only give him the potion if he can beat them in a fight. He agrees, then the aqua blue one freezes him in ice before he can react. They mock him for dying so easily and compliment Otomi for her ice spell. Otomi makes the ice disappear, then he immediately freezes time. He groans in pain and comments the Life Stone was the only reason he survived. He summons Gankichi, then says he guesses the red one uses fire and the yellow one uses lightning. He has Gankichi build a ladder so he can reach them in the air, but he learned his lesson from the cockatrice, so he approaches them from behind. Once he is close enough, he starts spanking them on their butts with a stick, saying he doesn't like hurting girls, but he wants to teach them a lesson.
Sekai returns to the restaurant just as the girls were eating dessert and says he defeated the triplets, but they didn't have any of the potion in stock and would have to make more. Unfortunately, it takes 4 days to make. Ranga mocks him, and he freezes time to strip and grope her. Later, he complains about all the food she ate since he is paying the bill. As they leave the restaurant, Sekai says all they can do is wait. If the darklings reach shore, he'll deal with them. Fury is impressed that he seems to genuinely care about people.
The Nether Gate was chained up to prevent it from opening prematurely again. The people build a wall along the shore. When Lovisa is finally ready, she is bathed and dressed by her attendants. She is glad the darklings haven't reached them yet, then tells her attendants she is not going to stick any messages in her body because they are not needed anymore. She goes to the now unbound Nether Gate and meets Sekai's party. Sekai explains he ate the Life Stone earlier. He went to the toilet, but it didn't come out. Lovisa says she can sense the Life Stone's power and that is enough. A coffin carrying the corpse of King Tutoom MountCape is brought in. The boy King walks up and says he was his father. A guard orders them all to kneel, but the King says that will not be necessary.
With Sekai standing next to the corpse, Lovisa performs the ritual. The Nether Gate opens and a ghost comes out and enters the corpse. Everyone is amazed when it reanimates and unlike with Thomas, his flesh is restored until he looks alive again. Tutoom opens his eyes, but suddenly, the ghost leaves him and returns to the Nether Gate, which snaps shut. The corpse returns to its previous desiccated condition. They ask what is going on. Lovisa nervously says the ritual is meant to be performed during a full moon. Since they are under threat from the darklings, she rushed it, hoping it would work, but it looks like it is really needed. The next full moon is in 24 days. Enraged, Sekai freezes time to strip and grope Lovisa, screaming that the timer only has about 5 hours left. Keeping time frozen, he wanders the city wondering what will happen when the timer reaches zero. Best case scenario, he'll wind up back where he started. Worst case scenario, he dies. He asks himself what he can do.
