"It's more than just Patriotic Fervor that's taking over the contestants here. It's the fact that none of them are prepared for what may come their way throughout this thing. From raging Elder Dragons to musical robots to the inclusion of an alien evil from 1968, this Arena's got it all! That, and a few good lewd times!"

  • Accidental Hero: Valentine kills Maleficent with his gun just as she is about to kill Ralsei.
  • Accidental Murder: While Maid Marian's riding with B.B., her tail ends up causing on of his bombs to fall and land on Mike Meyer's Cat in the Hat, who was annoying Goldar.
  • Alternate Self: This version of Maleficent is from her live action movie.
    • The Raak that participates here was changed into a female. Maybe.
    • With his Stand, D4C, Funny Valentine has the power to summon versions of himself from other dimensions to aid him in battle.
    • And Not-Zuko is Zuko from the comic "How I Became Yours" who's more focused on finding 'his Katara' than anything else.
  • Ambiguous Situation: Whether the Raak that's in this Arena is the original that got changed into a woman or is a piece of the real Raak that broke off is never explained.
  • An Arm and a Leg: Shockwave explains to Sarah that he lost his original arm when he questioned Gigatron one too many times, culminating in him transforming into beast mode and...well...
  • Assimilation Backfire: Cool Cat’s ends up being too annoying for the Goke, and it kills itself along with its MANY troops.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: At first, Cool Cat seems like to be a pick that was made as a joke, but as the Arena progresses, he's revealed to have a much darker backstory than many would have assumed and becomes quite a formidable threat, mainly with the help of the Goke.
  • Big Creepy-Crawlies: The first appearance of Dora the Arthropleura, with Ed and Sarah first finding him.
  • Bigger on the Inside: The box containing 3CH1DN4's team had its size on the inside adjusted to fit two of its members, the Flare-G-3 and Hyacinth.
  • Boom, Headshot!: Valentine kills Maleficent and Amphos by putting a bullet in their heads.
  • Brain Bleach: Valentine desperately wishes to find something that will help him unsee Reagan's massive newly acquired honkers.
    • Roy having witnessed Not-Zuko masturbate, wishes that he could burn his eyes after looking at the sight.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: When Ed gets torn apart by Death Jackals, he tells the audience that he'll see them next episode.
    • Baskerra asks the audience to engage with the fanfic and give comments and criticism on the fifth day of the Arena.
  • Bullying a Dragon: Reagan thought it would be a good idea to kick Shockwave's leg. This predictably results in Reagan’s death.
  • The Bus Came Back: Ed, Shockwave, Sarah Silke, Sisu, Cricket, Ralsei, and The Soldier all return from previous Arenas.
  • Call-Back: Vulpamon recalls how a Renamon entered the Arena before and how she didn't make it far.
    • During Not-Zuko’s introduction, it recalls Not-Katara's participation in the first episode.
    • Shockwave recalls the times of how he died in the previous Arenas just before the final chapter.
  • Car Fu: Valentine has an alternate version of himself ram a semi into Flare-G-3.
  • Caught with Your Pants Down: Roy and the horde of skeletons find themselves watching Not-Zuko masturbating thinking about his wife during the fourth night. None of them are pleased to see this.
  • Character Development: As Shockwave hangs around with Sarah, he begins to rely less on what he wants 'logically' and begins to think what he wants 'emotionally'.
  • Clothing Damage: Prefar gets his shorts torn of during a scuffle with a pack of Elorem.
    • Reagan's suit gets ruined by some Zubats biting him up.
    • Sarah’s clothes get destroyed by the tentacle bomb Cool Cat let loose.
    • Maid Marian’s clothes get damaged during the fight against Amatsu, with B. B. noticing.
  • Curse Cut Short: When Carmilla gets a stake through her chest, she lets out a "MOTHERFU-" just before she turns to dust.
  • Cuteness Proximity: When Wilson is talking to his teammates about attacking some of the other contestants, he mentioned that he had let Ralsei go since he was too cute to attack.
  • Do You Want to Copulate?: Vulpamon asks to have an orgy with the rest of her teammates before the Arena begins. Unfortunately for her, that’s when the gate opens.
  • Draconic Abomination: Whatever the hell Flare-G-3 is supposed to be, she resembles the closest to a dragon.
  • Dragged Off to Hell: Dimitrescu is eliminated from the game when she gets taken by a member of a biker gang called the "Devil's Advocates" through a portal to Hell.
  • Dragon Their Feet: Maid Marian spends the last two chapters trying to avenge Hyacinth's death.
  • Driven to Suicide: The Goke kills itself when he’s unable to control Cool Cat.
  • Dropped a Bridge on Him: Marcus and The Soldier die from getting impaled in the back while they're distracted by another contestant and Felica dies from having to give Zelai a blowjob without being given time to breathe.
    • Amphos is off handedly mentioned as having suffered the same fate as Maleficent against Valentine.
  • Eaten Alive: Zatkan gets devoured by a giant snapping turtle.
  • Enemy Mine: The remaining contestants (except for Sarah and Cool Cat) decide to team up to fight Shockwave when he takes them all on. While they do defeat him, they don’t manage to kill him.
  • Fan Disservice: Felicia sucking off someone’s dick sounds hot...until she dies from a lack of oxygen.
    • Someone manages to get a massive rack with the Succubus Milk...that 'someone' being the male, aging former president Ronald Reagan. And he also swims in a lake entirely naked at one point. Eeeergh...
  • Fate Worse than Death: What happens to Cricket when she gets kicked into a box headed for Brazil.
  • Flanderization: Just like with Not-Katara, All that Not-Zuko is reduced to is searching for 'his beloved' and won't shut up about it, which annoys everyone greatly.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Cool Cat becomes one for his team early on due to his obnoxiousness and Reagan becomes one for his team due to his homophobia, being considered a disgrace to his country, and the giant rack he got from drinking Succubus milk disturbing his teammates.
    • Roy gets very sick of Not-Zuko's nonstop talking about his Katara, but sticks with him since he becomes his only teammate left.
  • Fingore: Played for laughs, as Cool Cat harrasses Dora the Arthropleura so much that she winds up biting into his fingers, giving him a few seconds before he realizes what happened.
  • Groin Attack: Sarah kicks Roy (who's been possessed by the Goke) in the groin with barely a reaction from Roy.
  • Half the Man He Used to Be: What the Soldier's body is reduced to after Razuul spreads his umbrella through him.
    • The Yian Garuga splits the Reaper in half by ramming its head into the Reaper’s body before ripping it apart.
    • B. B. gets his lower half eaten by a giant Alaskan Bull Worm before his top half gets crushed by the beast returning into the ground.
  • Hermaphrodite: A few of them show up, most prominently the Flare- G-3 and Zelai.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: When Michael hears of Shockwave wanting to avenge Sarah, the president uses his remaining arm to get Shockwave off the Vulture Keeper's talons, just before the Keeper smashes Michael’s mech into the ground.
  • He Who Fights Monsters: In trying to stop bullying, Cool Cat had become a much worse kind of bully than those he dealt with in his world, this trait VERY much being shown near the end.
  • Hope Spot: During the Bloodbath, Marcus narrowly avoids getting crushed by a frozen Gamera, only for Valentine to put his arm through his chest, killing him.
  • Horrible Judge of Character: Not-Zuko wholeheartedly believed that Valentine would give him information on where Not-Katara was if he and Roy just stood around and did nothing.
  • Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: Razuul kills The Soldier by sticking an umbrella into him.
    • Zelai gets stabbed by the Xenomorph Queen's tail before she gets ripped apart by it.
    • Carmilla gets stabbed by a stake shaped piece of wood during Amatsu’s storm.
  • Improbable Aiming Skills: Twice from Maid Marian:
    • The first time, despite barely being able to see Gamera from all the smoke he's making, Maid Marian manages to land an arrow into one of Gamera's limb vents, which causes him to burst into to flames and have his head evaporated when he crashes into the barrier.
    • The second time is when she fires an arrow into Not-Zuko's palm hole at just the right time, causing him to explode.
  • Insane Troll Logic: What convinces Cool Cat that Shockwave is a bully? Him and Sarah sitting far away from each other and doing nothing, which apparently friends don't do.
  • In the Back: Twice in a row: The first one comes from Valentine punching through Marcus's body, and the second is when Razuul kills The Soldier with an umbrella while he’s arguing with Reagan.
    • A piece of wood in the shape of a stake flies into Carmilla's back.
  • It's All About Me: Not-Zuko doesn't care about what anyone has to say unless it helps him find his Katara, even as Roy's trying to give final words to their fallen teammates.
  • Jumping Off the Slippery Slope: At some point prior to the Arena, Cool Cat's attempts of stopping bullying had gotten so drastic that he killed not just the bullies, but those that hung out with or showed sympathy to them.
  • Killed Mid-Sentence: Two back to back: Marcus gets killed while he's talking about the close call he had with Gamera while the Soldier gets impaled with an umbrella while he's chewing out Reagan for making a homophobic comment about Marcus.
    • Zatkan gets eaten by a giant snapping turtle while he's boasting about how Dimitrescu can't do anything to him.
    • Prefar gets eaten by the Xenomorph Queen while he tries to convince her to eat someone else.
    • Razuul has a tree slam into him when he's about to use a spell to kill Roy.
    • As Cool Cat's yelling that he will save the kids, Shockwave tells him to shut up and fires a beam straight into his head.
  • Killed Offscreen: Carmilla managed to decapitate the Bio-Dragon at some point without a fight scene to show it.
    • Roy gets possessed by the Goke after last being seen climbing a mountain.
  • Laughing Mad: Cool Cat lets one out after he announced his plan of stopping bullying forever at the end.
  • The Load: Reagan is this for Valentine and Michael Wilson since not only does he lack anything that can help him fight, but he also spends his time whining and complaining.
    • Cool Cat starts out as this to Baskerra's Team before things go WAY out of hand.
  • Macross Missile Massacre: B. B. kills Baal with a hail of missiles from his barrel.
  • Never the Selves Shall Meet: Valentine ALMOST subjects Not-Zuko to what happens should they meet, but Michael manages to stop Valentine before this can happen.
  • No Body Left Behind: Valentine's whole body gets disintegrated when he's thrown into the barrier.
  • No Indoor Voice: Cool Cat's loud voice causes those that he’s around to grate their ears.
  • "No. Just… No" Reaction: When Carmilla sees the chaos caused by a tentacle bomb on the third night, she just goes 'No' and goes back to drinking deer blood.
  • Noodle Incident: When Brooke’s hat is fingering her, Cerebella comments that this is the second time this week.
  • Not So Above It All: Despite Shockwave being all about calmly thinking what would be the most logical thing to do, who has little patience with any shenanigans, when most of the remaining contestants decide to attack Shockwave, he decides to fight them...in song!
  • Not So Stoic: When Shockwave finds Sarah's corpse, he tries to keep thinking logically until he blows up some trees for seemingly no reason. His inner narration, however, showcases just how much he's failing to keep it together.
  • Not the Fall That Kills You…: Fisk dies when he lands on the ground with enough force to kill him during the Amatsu fight.
  • Off with His Head!: Endeavor gets decapitated by a Scorpius Rex when he trespasses on its land.
    • Carmilla managed to behead the Bio-Dragon offscreen.
    • Razuul decapitates Ralsei with his staff.
    • The Amatsu cleverly redirects the Metal Wolf Chaos' missiles to take off Tiamat's head. He also bites off Lien Vo's head.
    • Shockwave finishes off Cool Cat by blowing his head off.
  • Out with a Bang: Felicia dies from asphyxiation when she ends up sucking Zelai's dick without being given any time to breathe some air.
  • Patriotic Fervor: Namah Calah’s team is entirely filled with patriotic characters, though it's on the mixed side on the scale of this trope.
  • Playing with Fire: Vexon’s entire team consists of characters that wield fire powers.
  • Puppeteer Parasite: Cool Cat and Roy end up as victims of the Goke. However, in Cool Cat's case, the Goke soon wishes it hadn't.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: When a Yian Garuga attacks Mechani-Kong, the Soul of Cinder, and Darcy, Darcy attempts to flee from it, but the beast takes issue with that and specifically targets her before crushing her skull.
  • Self-Made Orphan: It's heavily implied that Cool Cat killed his parents when they showed sympathy to the bullies that Cool Cat had targeted.
  • Shout-Out: Michael shares his opinion of sand when the Sabrehook Keeper sends a stream of sand at him and the remaining contestants:
  • Snow Means Death: Sisu gets ambushed by a Snowstalker during a snowstorm and is left to bleed to death.
  • Squashed Flat: Ginormica accidentally steps on Raak, reducing her to goop.
  • Stylistic Suck: As a nod to Cool Cat's first movie, whenever he gets mad, he has angry eyebrows hastily pasted on.
  • Take That!: Ronald Reagan is not looked upon favorably in this, to the point where he's called 'The perpetrator of many war crimes and ruiner of the Republican Party' in his introduction.
    • This version of Maleficent is called the soulless version of the original who only has a bit of the charm the original had.
    • Once more, How I Became Yours gets criticized for it made Katara and Zuko massively OOC.
    • In order to get a med-kit for a poisoned Sarah, Shockwave has to beat the game "Garfield 2" for the PS2. He succeeds, but it leaves him in obvious mental anguish.
  • Taking You with Me: Valentine summons an alternate universe version of himself who was dying of cancer to take out Flare-G-3 by ramming her with a semi.
  • Team Killer: Cool Cat, being possessed by the Goke, kills Sarah by shoving his fist through her chest.
  • Tempting Fate: Shortly before Amatsu attacks, Carmilla tries to kill everyone herself, about to state nothing will stop her, right before a stake flies right into her body, killing her.
  • They Killed Kenny Again: Every returnee except for Shockwave gets killed in the Arena.
  • Transformation Horror: Maid Marian ends up turning into a more plant-like being when she drinks the nectar on Hyacinth's tail and being taken in by the Dryads.
  • Third Time's The Charm: Shockwave’s third try in the Arena, and manages to win it.
  • Torso with a View: Valentine shoves his fist into someone or something’s torso a few times, most notably with Marcus.
    • Cool Cat finishes off Sarah this way.
  • Uniformity Exception: Among those in Clara Abass' team, three of them are villainous females that are supernatural in nature and the last member of their team...is a normal crossdressing man with no powers at all.
  • [Verb] This!: Michael tells Valentine to "Try and come back from THIS!" right before he flings Valentine into the barrier.
  • Villain Song: Shockwave winds up singing his own rendition of "ManOnTheInternet"'s rendition of DJ Subatomic Supernova's boss theme when going up against a large group of contestants.
    • It's surprisingly appropriate, given its themes of thinking one is better than everybody, yet also hiding intense feelings of inferiority at the same time. Helps the voices are similar.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: Despite all the actions Cool Cat has committed, he did it in an attempt to stop bullying.
  • Wham Line: After watching Shockwave and Sarah have sex, Cool Cat whines that Sarah’s not hanging out with him, then we get this hint into his dark past:
Cool Cat: "Why do my friends always leave me?! First Maria, then my neighbors, then Momma Cat, then Daddy...what if I have to...kill again?"
  • With Us or Against Us: Cool Cat’s idea of 'bullying' has devolved to the point that anyone who disagrees with him is a bully. He goes about this CONSTANTLY in the fanfic.

Your Winner: Shockwave (Baskerra Hellmane's pick)
