Original air date: 3/22/2002 (produced in 2001)

Episode number: 10a

The Turners' lives have been really boring as of late, so Timmy wishes that life could be more like an action movie, which ends up with a now-evil Jorgen kidnapping Cosmo and Wanda to absorb their energy.

This episode contains examples of:

  • Body Horror: The abducted fairy godparents become grossly emaciated as their magic is drained out of them before dissolving into dust. When all of the magic is taken out of Jorgen and returned to them, it results in him looking like a walking skeleton.
Jorgen: Aah! My muscles! My beautiful muscles!
  • Cock-a-Doodle Dawn: A rooster greets each day. The first day, he's bored. The second day, he ends up in an explosion. The third time, he's relieved that there is no explosion.
  • Conspicuous CG: Parodied. The action movie sequences are chock-full of obvious 3D effects that clash with the show's normal 2D style.
  • Designated Villain: Invoked. Timmy's wish turns Jorgen into an out-and-out supervillain.
  • Drunk with Power: Jorgen after he absorbed the magic of the captured fairies. Timmy even outright said he'd gone mad with power.
  • Gratuitous Ninja: As expected from an action movie.
  • Heel–Face Turn: Jorgen's cat, Mr. Tuliptoes, helps Timmy defeat Jorgen.
  • High-Class Glass: Jorgen wears a monocle as a villain.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Mr Tuliptoes scratches at Jorgen's face. and while in his powered up state Jorgen's muscles are way too huge for him to pull the cat off.
  • Indy Escape: The final part of Timmy's wake up call.
  • Inventional Wisdom: Timmy defeats Jorgen thanks to a reverse switch on his device.
Jorgen: NO! Why did I put a reverse switch on it?!
Timmy: 'Cause this is MY movie!
  • It's Quiet… Too Quiet: Timmy says then when he arrives at school. He's immediately attacked by ninjas.
  • Jet Pack: Timmy gets one. And so does Jorgen's Right-Hand Cat.
  • Mistreatment-Induced Betrayal: Jorgen's cat betrays him after he neglects it.
  • Perma-Stubble: Timmy gets this as part of his wish.
  • Power Parasite: Jorgen's plan is to steal every fairy's magic and transfer it to himself.
  • Right-Hand Cat: Jorgen turns villain complete with a pet cat named Mr. Tuliptoes, who he accidentally abuses so much it does a Heel–Face Turn.
  • Shout-Out: Timmy watches an action movie starring a protagonist named McCain. The movie Timmy's Dad thought they were watching was "The boring dog who could shoot boring hoop."
  • Show Within a Show: Ryan McCain: Loose Cannon Cop, the action movie Timmy watches.
  • Snake Pit: Timmy is subjected to this as part of his wake up call.
  • Spikes of Doom: Used with The Walls Are Closing In.
  • Stuff Blowing Up: Thanks to Timmy's wish, stuff blows up, sometimes for no reason.
  • Suddenly Shouting: Mr. Turner does this in the action movie universe.
Mr. Turner: Sports, ACTIONY! News, ACTIONY! Weather, HEY!
    Timmy and Mrs. Turner: What?!
Mr. Turner: A 100% chance... OF ACTION!
  • Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: When Jorgen activates his machine that gives him more power it also causes his muscles to bulk up considerably. When Mr Tuliptoes betrays Jorgen and starts scratching his face, he finds he can’t reach his cat cause his muscles are so large he can’t even bend his arms.
  • This Page Will Self-Destruct: At breakfast, Timmy's dad slides a tape recorder across the table to tell his son to pass the butter before the obligatory "this message will self-destruct" line.
  • The Walls Are Closing In: The first thing that happens when Timmy wakes up in his new wish is being dumped into a pit with closing walls.
