Now that Anu and Raj's wedding is postponed indefinitely, his friends are stuck with non-refundable airplane tickets to India for the originally scheduled date of the wedding. Howard and Raj decide to go on a 0g flight with Anu and Bernadette.
This puts Bernadette in an awkward position: she's afraid to go on the flight but she doesn't want to admit to Howard that she's afraid to go on the flight. The liability release contract looks to be about a hundred pages. How can Bernadette and Howard risk orphaning their children? So, as a compromise to save face, Bernadette goes on the flight while Howard stays on the ground.
Meanwhile, Leonard prepares to donate sperm to Marissa (Lindsey Kraft) and Zach (Brian Thomas Smith) so they can have a child, preferably a boy. Penny still has a problem with this, as does Penny's father, Wyatt (Keith Carradine), who is also disappointed Penny doesn't want to give him grandchildren.
And Sheldon is still upset Marissa and Zach didn't choose him: after all, Sheldon is obviously smarter, taller and healthier than Leonard. After further consideration, Leonard withdraws, but Amy strongly objects to Sheldon pinch hitting for Leonard.

- Gilligan Cut: The episode ends with Leonard telling Zack that he's declining the role of a sperm donor, before suggesting to Zack that someone else is interested. Cut to Amy fiercely objecting to Sheldon about him being a sperm donor, with Sheldon giving Zack the bad news on the phone.

- Pregnancy Does Not Work That Way: Zach would prefer the baby to be a boy, but would be okay with a baby girl who would look like Penny. Of course Leonard's sperm would not have any of Penny's genetic material. Penny's smart enough to know this. But she's also smart enough that it's not worthwhile to explain this to Zach.
