Sky Pirates have come to San Lorenzo. Eager to find the Crown of Souls that can help defeat the Bloodwolf (and eager to be a pirate), Puss runs off with them, leaving the Senior Puss Squad behind to bond with a slumber party at Puss' house.
Tropes:
- Continuity Nod: While Puss still hasn't finalized a name for the team, he seems to settle on "Senior Puss Squad" as a placeholder name to compliment the Junior Puss Squad.
- Dem Bones: A ghost ship crewed by skeletons.
- Only Sane Man: The pirate crew, minus Two-Eyed Alonzo, waffle between being comically irritated by the silliness going on around them and trying with little success to go along with the flow. This continues onto the rest of their appearances.
- Sky Pirate: As literal as it gets as their airship is quite literally an ordinary pirate ship that inexplicably sails through the air. How it flies is never really explained.
