Luigi (?) is acting strange and the SMG4 Crew tries to figure out what's going on.
Luigi is acting suspicious yet again, only this time he's shockingly aggressive and hostile to his friends and older brother. Meggy is convinced that they are dealing with an imposter, so when the cast find what seems to be a cursed port-a-potty leading to another dimension, Mario and the SMGs venture in to find him while the rest hold off the fake Luigi...
- The Bait: SMG4 temporarily incapacitates Luigi.exe by tossing Mario at him to beat up while he and SMG3 tie him up with rope Depresso found. Mario is displeased, to say the least.Mario: (with fiery eyes and a burning aura) YOU GUYS USED ME AS BAIT?!
- Big Brother Instinct:
- The main reason behind Mario.exe's hostility is because he is looking for his missing brother Luigi.exe, to the point that he kidnapped the real Luigi to serve as his Replacement Goldfish.
- Mario himself, although initially hesitant to enter another liminal space, beelines into the .exe castle once he's there, calling for Luigi.
- "Big Sister" variant – When Tari is put in danger by Luigi.exe, Saiko immediately goes on the attack. Unfortunately for her, Luigi.exe is powerful enough to crush her into a ball.
- Butt-Monkey: Boopkins gets it even more than usual this episode. During the sponsor plug at the beginning, he gets blasted by a Star Destroyer twice and then sucked into a black hole. In the episode proper, Luigi.exe chucks him into the stratosphere before he falls back to earth and explodes on impact in the dumpster where Depresso is rummaging.
- Black Comedy: While digging through the trash, Depresso finds a noose. He's very excited about this. However, SMG4 takes it from him and uses it to tie up Luigi.exe.
- Call-Back:
- Once again, someone got pulled into liminal space when it was time to take a piss. This time, it was Luigi.
- SMG4 references the 10-year Anniversary Special after Mario bolts off ahead of the SMGs."Didn't Mario learn ANYTHING from the SMG4 movie and what happens when we run into creepy castles!?!"
- Comically Missing the Point: Mario (who else?) does this more than once.
- When Luigi no sells a kick to the crotch from Mario, Mario runs off screaming that his brother turned into a girl.
- After Tari points over to the cursed port-a-potty, Mario cries that his brother has been turned into a toilet.
- Mario flips out and starts beating the crap out of Luigi even after it's obvious he's talking to his real brother. Twice.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: By the time Mario and the SMGs return from the SM64.exe dimension with the real Luigi, Luigi.exe has thoroughly defeated the whole gang, including Melony, and has poor Meggy at his mercy.
- Drives Like Crazy: Mario enters the scene on his go-kart, which flies spinning out of the forest, lands upside down, and catches fire. Mario then hops out completely unhurt and walks away..
- Good Is Bad And Bad Is Good: Luigi.exe claims the real world was scary, and may have attacked out of fear that Mario was genuinely out to kill him.
- Medium Awareness: When the Mario 64 course screen inside the .exe universe taunts Mario by telling him via text he won't find Luigi, Mario angrily walks into frame, flips off the universe, kicks the blank star offscreen, and enters the course anyway.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here:
- Mario, in a rare show of Genre Savvy, tries to turn tail and leave when SMG4 suggests Luigi is in the dimension the port-a-potty leads into. Meggy won't have any of that, however.
- During their time in the liminal space, SMG3 says a variant of this after seeing Mario.exe.
- Strong Family Resemblance: Averted. Luigi.exe only has off facial expressions and mostly looks like the real Luigi, unlike Mario.exe who's visually based on MX, being much larger, having chalky white skin and black-and-red colors.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Depresso tossed the Super Mario 64.exe cartridge into the port-a-potty just before Luigi went in to take a piss, switching out both worlds' Luigis.
