  • Behemoth Battle: Lion Fire Megazord vs. Drillion.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: The episode reveals that Mick was separated from his family and sold into slavery, which was how he ended up on Galvanax's ship. Not even Brody knew about this, until now.
  • Defeat Equals Explosion: Befalls Drillion twice.
  • Good News, Bad News: Mick is able to get the Rangers' equipment fully repaired, but they acknowledge they're still in trouble since the guy who wrecked it in the first place is still out there.
  • Heroic Vow: Viera promises Mick that she will reform things in the Lion Galaxy.
  • Make My Monster Grow: Drillion is gigantified by a Kudabot.
  • Meaningful Background Event: When Viera appears in the Rangers' base, Mick is standing behind Brody and immediately glaring at her.
  • Megaton Punch: Brody's first act with Viera's armor is to punch Drillion into the nearest rockface.
  • Monster of the Week: Drillion
  • No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: After gaining Viera's armor, Brody subjects Drillion to a nasty one. The Zord fight is a bit more evenly matched.
  • Not Quite Dead: Thanks to Viera, Mick learns his parents are still alive and safe, as he had always hoped deep down.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Mick is usually the one helping deliver the episode's lesson and being very wide-eyed. His Dark and Troubled Past makes him not want to help Viera or be around her. Initially, he's only willing to chip in because it would benefit the Rangers.
  • Pre-Asskicking One-Liner: After using the armor to rush in front of Drillion.
    Brody: Think fast! [POW!]
  • The Scapegoat: Viera had nothing to do with Mick losing his family or being sold into slavery, but she's a member of the family that was responsible for that.
  • This Cannot Be!: Drillion over Brody gaining Viera's Lion Fire Armor. He does it again after Brody starts demonstrating how effective the armor is.
  • Throw the Dog a Bone: Viera tracked down Mick's parents and put him back in contact with them.
  • Two-Part Episode: Part 2 of 2.
