The boys create mechanical bulls and a fighting ring to help the Fireside Girls earn their rodeo clown patch. Meanwhile, Candace tries to act mature so Stacy's mom can allow her to go to a Tiny Cowboy concert, and Doofenshmirtz enters the Inator Creator contest against Rodney.
Tropes:
- Answer Cut: During the rodeo, Buford's bull goes haywire. Baljeet asks what's wrong, and Buford replies, "I don't know, something's making my bull go whacko!" The camera then zooms to a close-up of a red balloon held by one of the kids in the stands.
- Bland-Name Product: The hotel where the Inator contest is being held is called the Quantity Inn, a parody of the Quality Inn.
- Blunt "No": Dr. Hirano responds this way when Linda asks if her own mother let her go to a concert when she was a teen.
- Brick Joke: Isabelle mentions her hair getting all frizzy when the fog engulfs the backyard. This is turned into the shows' obligatory Disney Acid Sequence right at the end of the episode with the lyrics "Izzy's Got the Frizzies". Her hair is shown to have turned into massive pigtail buns.
- Brig Ball Bouncing: Perry does this when inside the agent containment unit.
- Bull Seeing Red: Buford's bull does this, due to a kid in the stands holding a red balloon.
- Call a Rabbit a "Smeerp": Rodney's inator for the contest is a simple giant electric fan that clears out the fog that Doofenshmirtz's fog machine created, which he dubbed the Fog-Clearer-inator. Subverted when the animal agents are let loose and starts destroying all the inators in the contest; Rodney excuses that his inator is just an electric fan that benefits mankind, and therefore causes no harm, so that the agents will spare his creation.
- Cold Turkeys Are Everywhere: In order to convince Stacy's mom that she's mature and focused enough, Candace has to ignore her obsession with her brothers. It goes well at first, but then Linda gets suspicious and asks Candace if this is something to do with her busting obsession, causing Candace to gradually get nervous and tempted. She struggles to hold it off with increasing insanity until she finally breaks her character and snaps, reverting back to her old busting self.
- Comeback Tomorrow: Doofenshmirtz tells Rodney at the beginning of the contest that he'll be crying "like... like something that cries, I guess." At the end of the episode, when Doof's inator destroys Rodney's fan and Rodney goes home crying, Doof says "Like a baby! Yeah, that's right! That's what I was looking for."
- Continuity Nod: After winning the balloon, Doofenshmirtz exclaims that he's going to call it "Balloony II".
- Description Cut: As Candace and Stacy try to repress the former's urge to bust her brothers, they talk about how responsible and mature it is to repress basic urges, with Candace saying, "Just look at my Mom!" Cut to Linda staring at a cake, desperately holding herself back from eating it.Linda: Cake is a sometimes food; cake is a sometimes food!
- Disney Acid Sequence: "Izzy's Got the Frizzies", an out-of-nowhere R&B tune that appears at the end of the episode, starring Isabella with frizzy hair dancing her absolute heart out.She's gonna be a big sensation

Isabella: It's because of the humidity. - Disqualification-Induced Victory: Doofenshmirtz lets all the animal agents loose and destroy all the inators of his competitors, and Doofenshmirtz's own inator is one that destroy's Rodney's inator. Therefore, since Doofenshmirtz's inator is the only one left standing, he wins by default. Unfortunately, since the Inator Creator trophy belt gets destroyed in the fight, the judge has no choice but to gift Doofenshmirtz a random red balloon floating by (the same balloon that was present in the rodeo).Doofenshmirtz: By default, my favorite way to win!
- Don't Explain the Joke: Doofenshmirtz explaining that he'll be going home with a greater inator, not a Grater-Inator.
- Early-Installment Weirdness: This is the only episode where all the members of L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. make inators. In later episodes, possibly to show the evil scientists' individuality, Rodney makes -inizors, Dr. Diminuitive makes -erators, and Professor Poofenplotz (who is not even a member of L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N.) makes -ificators.
- Human Ladder: Doofenshmirtz throws in a blueprint to show the animals how to create an animal ladder to escape their containment unit.
- I Resemble That Remark!: When Stacy tells Candace that she can't go to the concert with her:Candace: What? Doesn't she like me?
Stacy: No, no. She likes you just fine, she just thinks...you're, I don't know, flighty and unfocused from time to time.
Candace: "Unfocused"? What could possibly give her that... (gets immediately distracted by motor whirring sounds) Wait, did... did you hear that? Was that Ferb's bandsaw? - Messy Hair: The fog caused by Doof's fog machine causes Isabella's hair to frizz out.
- Noodle Incident: Candace talks about how she pretended to be Irish for a week in front of Stacy's mom.Stacy: Indeed, I do [remember], "Miss O'Flynn"!
- Smart People Wear Glasses: Invoked. In an attempt to look more mature, Candace wears a pair of Purely Aesthetic Glasses.
- Stock Jokes: Ferb ends his announcement of bad puns with "I'll be here all week. Try the veal."
- Take Our Word for It: As the fog obscures the entire rodeo arena (and the screen), Buford does a trick and exclaims, "You should see what I'm doing!"
