Naga sends one of his strongest underlings to attack the heroes—the genie Monster named Bajarl. While he looks harmless at first, Bajarl is very dangerous, and he soon captures everyone but Holly and Mocchi with his magic jar.
Running into a deserted town, Holly finds that the mayor had rigged explosives as a trap for Bajarl. Even when it was unable to be used before everyone was gone, he hid them away along with a diary and map, with his last wish being someone find it and use it. With Mocchi running interference and Tiger freezing Bajarl from inside the jar, Holly lights the explosives and frees her friends as the town and Bajarl blow up.
This episode contains examples of:
- Apocalyptic Log: The journal the mayor of the town Bajarl destroyed.
- Beware the Silly Ones: Bajarl make seem ridiculous, what with his inability to count and all, but he proves to be a Not-So-Harmless Villain, having wiped out an entire town, along with capturing all the Searchers but Holly and Mocchi.
- Cliffhanger: The episode ends with the Searchers reuniting with Pixie and Big Blue while the Baddies have finished setting up the Final Gate, enabling Moo to begin the process of merging with his original body.
- Godzilla Threshold: With the Searchers having overcome everything else he's sent after them, Naga feels he's out of options when he calls upon Bajarl, considering him his "last resort". His soldiers consider Bajarl The Dreaded.
- The Juggernaut: Bajarl proves to be a tough opponent, his magic jar able to capture pretty much anything and deflect attacks, and him able to give Mocchi a rough fight hand-to-hand. In fact it seems the only way to take him down is to crush him under a mountain-size rock.
- Person of Mass Destruction: Bajarl was able to decimate an entire prosperous town.
- Stuff Blowing Up: An entire town blows up to take out Bajarl.
