"Spring Carnival": After Auntie Midge breaks her hip, Molly and Tooey try to find a way for her to emcee the spring carnival.
"Spring Carnival" contains the following tropes:
- Animal Reaction Shot: One of the sled dogs facepalms when Tooey gets splashed with a snowball.
- Cup Holders: Tooey points out that he added a cupholder to Auntie Midge's sled chair.
- Doctor's Orders: Midge breaks her hip and has to go the hospital. The doctor ordered her not to stand on ice, which is why she might be unable to emcee the spring carnival.
- Foreshadowing: When Molly announces her plans to build a sled chair on her vlog, she briefly turns the camera on Mr. Patak, who stutters and quickly backs out of the shot. In the season three episode "Lights, Camera, Patak!" Mr. Patak is shown to be extremely camera shy.
- Shout-Out: "You'll have to speak up. I'm wearing a towel."
- Snowball Fight: The episode combines this trope with Water Guns and Balloons. One of the events at the spring carnival is a water balloon fight with snowballs inside the balloons.
- Swivel-Chair Antics: After learning what the word "swivel" means, Molly spins around in her swivel chair.
- Sympathetic Wince: Everyone winces when Trini throws a snowball balloon at Tooey, causing it to splash in his face.
"Tooey's Hole-i-Day Sweater": Tooey has finally outgrown an ugly Christmas sweater, only for it to rip when he's supposed to hand it down.
"Tooey's Hole-i-Day Sweater" contains the following tropes:
- Christmas Episode: The episode takes place during Christmas, but also features glimpses of Hanukkah and Kwanzaa.
- Description Cut: After Tooey receives a yarn-making kit from Grace, he says that he will have the sweater fixed in no time. Then it cuts to him saying "We're never gonna fix this sweater!"
- Early-Bird Cameo: John and Jay make cameos in the family pictures, but they will not officially appear until "Puppy Palooza."
- Funny Photo Phrase: Tooey and Grandma Elizabeth say "Musk ox!" when they take a picture together at the end.
- Homemade Sweater from Hell: It's revealed that in the Ookami family, you have to wear an ugly Christmas sweater until you outgrow it. Tooey's older brothers Jay and John both had to wear it before handing it down to Tooey. Tooey thought that this year would be the last year that he wears the sweater, but it gets a hole, is fixed, and he has to wear it for years to come.
- Informed Judaism: We see Connie lighting a menorah for Hanukkah. Prior to this episode, there were no hints that Connie was Jewish.
- I Was Quite a Looker: Tooey's parents when they were a bit younger
