From the darkest depths of space emerges the Great One, who seeks to conquer Earth. As its presence looms closer, the people of Dapto are brainwashed into becoming its hive mind. Only Koala Man, his ragtag allies and the contents of a showbag stand between Earth and its destruction.

- Artifact of Attraction: The Forbidden Showbag got its status from being so fun that people fought obsessively over it.
- Blind Bag Collectables: When showbags are introduced, they're briefly explained to non-Australians who have never heard of the concept. Different types of showbags are sold at the Dapto Royal Show, but Alison wants to find the Forbidden Showbag to buy Rosie's friendship.
- Brain in a Jar: When Liam hears a voice calling out to him through his mind powers, Liam follows the voice. When he finds the origin of the voice, it's coming from the James Showbag, the creator of showbags and the forbidden showbag, who's brain is in a jar. James reveals after the forbidden showbag he created was too powerful, the people of Dapto punishes him by putting his brain in a jar to serve as a warning to others to dare to create another dangerous showbag.
- Covered in Gunge: The end result of the Great One's coming is Dapto being covered in translucent purple slime.
- Does Not Like Spam: Because the Great One doesn't like prawns, Koala Man and Vicky are the only adults unable to be brainwashed due to them smelling like prawns.
- Double Entendre: The people brainwashed to the Great One's cult converting others and building a structure to prepare for its "coming".
- Failed a Spot Check: Because Vicky is so happy to hear from the brainwashed Daptonians that she deserved to be loved, she completely fail to notice they're brainwashed, they have pink eyes, and they're building a spaceship. When Koala Man finally gets her to notice, she admits she may have missed some red flags.
- Funny Background Event: While James Showbag is communicating to Liam telepathically, Alison can't hear their conversation and acts impatient in the background.
- The Immune: Because Kevin ate some prawns in bed last night with Vicky near him, they're unable to be brainwashed due to the Great One not liking prawn.
- Internal Reveal: Alison finally realizes that Liam has psychic powers when he reveals that he can hear someone communicating to him telepathically.
- Lovecraft Lite: The adults of Dapto are mentally enslaved by a massive alien being from another dimension to build a structure for its arrival. This structure turns out to be a dildo for the Great One to pleasure itself with, which would destroy the planet, but Vicky helping it achieve completion averts that. Ultimately, the Great One is nothing more than a "cosmic fuckboi" that leaves Earth after seeing there are kids, trolling the universe for other planets to have sex with.
- Make an Example of Them: When James Showbag made the Forbidden Showbag, the content inside it is so fun that it nearly drove Dapto into destruction. James was killed but they kept his brain alive and kept it in a jar to serve as a warning to others who would try to make a similar showbag.
- Mars Needs Women: The Great One causes the townsfolk to develop a hive mind, leading to the formation of a cult that contructs a rocket ship so they may fornicate with the Great One. As it turns out, the alien monstrosity just wanted to use their rocket as a dildo.
- Mid-Suicide Regret: James Showbag agrees to reveal the location of the forbidden showbag if Alison and Liam agrees to kill him because he doesn't want to continue living as a brain in a jar. While Liam doesn't want to do it, Alison has no problem doing it. After Alison takes the jar and throws it to do ground, James instantly changes his mind but it's too late as Alison steps on him.
- Not Brainwashed: Vicky is wearing sunglasses when she's surrounded by the Great One's cult, and later echoes their sentiments along with them. Turns out she didn't even notice people were being brainwashed, she was just so gratified by being told she was worthy and deserving of love that she went along with them.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Vicky calls out Koala Man being so obsess with having things his way that he doesn't make room for what everyone else wants, including her and she doesn't feel loved. She tells him if he doesn't do everything about it, then she unsure what will happen to their marriage. Koala Man realizes his error and apologizes to her.
