Aqua reaches Olympus Coliseum, where she is immediately assaulted by Unversed. Phil tries to help her, but they scare him away, so Hercules comes to help instead. Together, they manage to destroy the Unversed. Herc mentions that Terra became the champion in the games, to Aqua's surprise. Phil awkwardly tries to flirt with Aqua, but all she cares about is finding Terra. Hearing that Aqua plans to leave if she can't find Terra, Phil tells her that if she enters the Games, she may run into him, and he even offers to sign her up. When Herc asks why he is so insistent on training her, he tells him that he doesn't have the same "attributes" as her.
Aqua signs up for the games, but she tells Phil she doesn't need any training. She fights until the final, where her opponent is a boy named Zack. Phil explains that there are two brackets, East and West, and Terra is in the West while Aqua and Zack are in the East. When she asks Zack how he knows Terra, he explains that Terra saved his life after Hades tried to make him his pawn. Aqua defeats Zack, but then Hades appears. He tells Aqua that Terra was the one who came to him to ask for help utilizing the darkness, but then he decided not to use it in the end. Hades offers Aqua the power of darkness, but when she refuses, he tells her that she's going to fight him next.
When the match begins, Hades calls in the Ice Colossus for help. Zack tries to help, but Aqua insists on fighting alone. She manages to defeat both of them, and Hades reveals that the Colossus was just a fake, not the real Ice Titan. He leaves, restoring peace to the coliseum. Zack asks Aqua out on a date, but she says that she's too busy. He asks if she'll go on a date once he becomes a hero, but she doesn't give a proper answer. Aqua hopes that Terra is doing well, but she isn't sure what to think, so she leaves to continue her journey...
