Aqua finds herself on board a ship in outer space, where alarms are going off. She fends off some Unversed before finding a crudely-made Wayfinder like the ones she and her friends have. A blue creature appears and grabs it, but his interest is piqued when he sees her Keyblade. The ship's Captain Gantu appears and asks her if Experiment 626 came by. He tells her that the blue creature she saw a moment ago was an abomination created by the mad scientist Jumba Jookiba. Gantu realizes that he has never met Aqua before, so he presumes her to be a stowaway and takes her captive.
Gantu brings Aqua to the Grand Councilwoman of the Galactic Federation. Aqua offers to help eliminate the Unversed. The Grand Councilwoman accepts, much to Gantu's disappointment. She also asks Aqua to capture 626 and his creator Jumba if she stumbles upon them. Aqua finds the makeshift Wayfinder outside the ship, and after getting it, she finds 626 in the prisoners' detainment area. Some Unversed appear, and Aqua beats them back. 626 says Terra's name, making Aqua curious, but they have to deal with the Unversed first. After beating them, 626 says that he's looking for Terra before leaving.
Aqua returns to the bridge to speak with the Grand Councilwoman, who says that they have located the escapees. When she asks Aqua to apprehend them, Aqua asks if 626 is really the threat they're making him out to be, but the Grand Councilwoman says that they must treat him as such. Aqua finds Jumba and 626, but the latter jumps at her to grab the Wayfinder. Jumba tells her that Terra showed him his Wayfinder, and that is why he made one of his own. Aqua is relieved to hear that Terra is fine, but Jumba is annoyed that 626's newfound interest in friendship is distracting him from his destructive instincts.
Gantu appears and tries to shoot 626. Even though they were under orders to take the prisoners alive, Gantu decided to eliminate them. Aqua decides to intervene and is forced to fight Gantu with the help of 626. They battle for a while until the Grand Councilwoman interrupts. She tells them that she was observing via a monitor, much to Gantu's embarrassment. As she prepares to send 626 into exile on an asteroid, Aqua asks if she can consider letting him go. The Grand Councilwoman says that she will consider shortening his exile if he behaves well. Aqua tells 626 that Terra and Ventus are her friends before leaving. As 626 is taken away, Aqua prepares to reach the next world...
